00:00Drinking and rating coffee in Manchester.
00:02Hello and welcome to Coffee Catch-Up, the series where I get a random coffee from a random place in Manchester,
00:06taste it and rate it, while talking you through some of our team's top stories from the weekend.
00:10Today I bottled it a little bit, I went up to the Sky Lounge here in the City Tower and got a macchiato.
00:15Now to start with, we're going to have to talk about Oasis.
00:17Their reunion tour was the main talking point of last week across the country
00:20and Sophia's collected some of your suggestions for who should be the support act.
00:23With the Gallaghers being Manchester lads, some suggestions were the band James,
00:26the Blossoms or even New Order, who recently headlined a Wythenshawe Park.
00:29Sticking with music, Patrick's done a piece on a potential reunion of the Smiths.
00:33That's following on from an interview that came out recently with Morrissey
00:36that saw the former frontman blame a brand name for blocking the band getting back together.
00:39Changing tune now, Adam, our editor, has put together a piece on proposed AI cameras
00:43which can detect when drivers use their phone and don't wear a seatbelt.
00:46The trial is starting on September 3rd, so I'd heavily suggest clicking the link of that story in the description and checking it out.
00:51Now the coffee is OK, I'm going to be honest, I'm back from a little holiday, I'm all a bit rushed today.
00:56So it's just OK, 6.2, decent coffee.
