Rescue crews are continuing to search in challenging conditions for a teenager who was swept off rocks into the sea south of Adelaide. The 17-year-old was on Granite Island near Victor Harbour with his younger brother, when he slipped and disappeared into the water on Sunday.

00:58are losing hope of seeing him alive again.

01:31We're also dealing with approximately five metre swells
01:36which are coming from the south, so obviously that's problematic
01:39because that's hitting the southern side of the island.
01:42Search and rescue efforts have continued throughout the afternoon
01:46here and further along the coastline,
01:48but teams are dealing with challenging conditions
01:51with gusty winds and choppy waters.
01:54This incident serves as a reminder to the dangers of the ocean
01:58and the importance of remaining in safe areas.
