00:00The Venezuelan government denounced the hijacking by the United States of an aircraft used by
00:04President Nicolás Maduro.
00:06Caracas denounced before the international community that once again the authorities
00:11of the United States illegally confiscated a Venezuelan aircraft, justifying themselves
00:16with the coercive measures that they unilaterally and illegally imposed around the world.
00:21In turn, the Bolivarian Republic states that this new order of disposition has demonstrated
00:26that Washington uses economic and military power to intimidate and pressure states such
00:31as the Dominican Republic so that they serve as accomplices in these delinquent acts.
00:44In official community issue on Monday, Venezuela accused the government of the United States
00:49of illegally confiscating an aircraft used by President Nicolás Maduro.
00:53In the document, the South American nation said that the action was a repeated criminal
00:58practice that cannot be qualified as anything other than a piracy of illegally confiscated
01:05aircraft that has been used by the President of the Republic.
01:09The text also signaled that this action reveals that no state and no constitutional government
01:14is safe from illegal actions that disregard international law.
01:18It also adds that the United States has already demonstrated that it uses its economic and
01:22military might to intimidate and put pressure on states such as the Dominican Republic to
01:27serve as accomplices in these criminal acts.
01:30It continues by saying that this is an example of the so-called rules-based order which disregarding
01:37international law seeks to establish the law of the strongest, create rules that suit its
01:43interests and enforce them with total impunity.
01:47Finally, the document affirmed that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reserves the right to
01:52take any legal actions to repair this damage to the nation, as well as other damage caused
01:57by the criminal policy of unilateral coercive measures, and finished by saying that it seems
02:02that Venezuela respects itself and continues to firmly defend its dignity and sovereignty.
02:22On Monday, the Public Ministry of Venezuela issued an alert warrant for former presidential
02:27candidate Bundo González Urrutia.
02:29The arrest warrant specifies the alleged commission of the crimes of usurpation of functions punishable
02:36under Article 213, a variety of public documents provided and punishable under Article 319,
02:46investigation to disobey the law punishable under the Article 283, conspiracy provided
02:52for and punished by Article 132 of the Penal Code, sabotage of systems damage punished
02:59by Article 7 of the Computer Crimes Association, provided for and punishable by the Article
03:0637 of the Organic Law against Organized Crimes and Finance and Terrorism.
