00:00:00You
00:00:30Oh
00:00:53John don't worry about a thing the people at Coliseum want to congratulate you personally for the job you did on super tape for oh
00:00:58Really? Absolutely. I want you to deliver this master to them master tape. Absolutely master tapes would be very careful with that
00:01:06Okay, okay, by the way, babe. I saw your job on super tape three. Oh, I thought it was great
00:01:10Oh, I thought so. Listen, I packed some sodas some sandwiches for you. You have a great trip
00:01:16All right. Wait a minute. How long a trip is this gonna be? Oh, don't worry about a thing
00:01:20We got the Coliseum video van for you. It got a great professional driver and tour guide
00:01:24This guy really knows what he's doing, huh? Absolutely. No really been around. How's the rose like the back of his hand?
00:01:31Okay, you're sure he knows where we're going. Absolutely
00:01:34Listen, you have a good time. Say hi to the folks at Coliseum for me. Yes, it shouldn't be I mean that tough
00:01:39I mean I got sodas and sandwiches and Oh Kevin, who am I asking for when I get there?
00:01:44Kevin
00:01:48Well, we're just about ready to set off on our little trip
00:01:50Really shouldn't be that much of a problem
00:01:52you know, all I have to do is go to Coliseum video meet with those fine people about super tape four and
00:01:58What am I gonna say to these people?
00:02:00Well, at least I'm officially dressed for it
00:02:03Yes, I'll think of something. At least I don't have to worry about getting there
00:02:06I mean after all Kevin did supply me with the official Coliseum video van and a professional driver. Let's not forget that
00:02:14We might as well meet him
00:02:16Hey
00:02:18This is really nice. I say hold it Alfred. There will be no food or beverages inside this van
00:02:24I want it in immaculate condition not a crumb in this vehicle at all. Well, never mind all that
00:02:30You're the professional driver and tour guide. I count those two skills amongst my many accomplishments
00:02:35Yes, you know exactly where we're going. Of course, I do the world headquarters of the WWF. No, no
00:02:43No, we're going to Coliseum video. I have to meet with some very important people. I'm presenting super tape for
00:02:48No problem, dear boy. No problem whatsoever. I'm not without my navigational skills such as somebody like you get it
00:02:57All right, I'm sure you know where we're going
00:03:00Of course, I know where we're going
00:03:02Okay, do be careful
00:03:05Well before we cast off, why don't you take a look at this match involving the intercontinental champion? Mr
00:03:09Perfect in the Texas Tornado, but first we'll hear some comments from the flawless one. I
00:03:25Don't see any wind I don't feel any big breeze. I don't feel any big gust of wind from any tornado
00:03:29I certainly see the gold on mr. Perfect, you know, Texas Tornado
00:03:33Everybody knows you have the right ability and you've got what it takes to be a champion
00:03:38No matter how good you really are tornado. No matter what assets you bring into that ring
00:03:42You remember one thing I am what I say I am and I say I'm perfect
00:03:48I do feel a little draft will blow him away from his big mouth
00:04:08The world wrestling federation intercontinental champion
00:04:16Profile in perfection
00:04:20The intercontinental champion, mr. Perfect
00:04:24Two-time champion
00:04:28They'll take in one time before and he vowed to get it back that's exactly what he did
00:04:35Well the controversy over that decision still rages on
00:04:41But no doubts
00:04:43Surely around the waist of the flawless one
00:04:47That is social
00:04:49At least he had the skills and ability behind his statements to back everything up
00:04:56however
00:04:57Texas Tornado is a man who could easily unseat mr. Perfect again
00:05:05Yes, indeed, here's the man that mr. Perfect took the belt from
00:05:09And this is the superstar from Denton, Texas chance to get it back
00:05:15And he comes back with a
00:05:19Glory of blows before mr. Perfect deposits him over the top rope
00:05:24Took the time to take off his robe that turned out to be a big mistake. What was a mistake?
00:05:29Tremendous action there from both men and I really did think for the moment that the Tornado had taken a sneaky edge
00:05:37I'll mr. Perfect. However, he's following it up very well indeed
00:05:46Expected this man's to be totally out of control
00:05:49That's exactly what has taken place so far
00:05:53Already nails mr. Perfect with the tornado punch
00:05:57And I'm sure he's still trying to recover from that as he attempts to get back into the ring
00:06:03Well what the Tornado must do here is not concentrate on trying to knock his man out
00:06:08Outside the ring is to get him inside and get a clean fall because unless he does that he is not going to win that
00:06:14championship belt back
00:06:16Perfect backing off. I don't believe it
00:06:22And the Texas Tornado
00:06:25and on fire
00:06:27Thus far in this encounter
00:06:31Well in the first few minutes Sean he has certainly shaken up mr. Perfect and mr
00:06:36Perfect hasn't been able to use that speed that we know he's become really famous for
00:06:40He's blistering attack has somewhat faltered. However, look at this. He's beginning to get some confidence back into his stride
00:06:48To the midriff there I don't think I've seen that one from tornado before not only is carry about Eric after championship gold
00:06:58Vengeance in this encounter
00:07:02Seething over the legs
00:07:05No matter what he plans to leave with some satisfaction, I think he does plan that Sean you're absolutely right
00:07:12But if I were here at this moment
00:07:14I would try to forget that get that off my mind think about getting the belt first once that's in your possession
00:07:20Then think about revenge think about revenge
00:07:23Think about getting back into the ring
00:07:25Think about getting back into the ring
00:07:27Think about getting back into the ring
00:07:29Think about getting back into the ring
00:07:31Then think about revenge think about getting your own back at the moment
00:07:36I think this is a bad ploy by the tornado, but I could be wrong. Look what he's doing to mr. Perfect
00:07:42That's been out of the corner so hard. In fact the flawless one does a 360
00:07:49The clock he's got the claw on him and this is a most damaging horde
00:07:56Unfortunately a shot to the I stopped that
00:07:59Unfortunately for mr. Perfect it works
00:08:04And now he goes after the Texas Tornado
00:08:09Good angle on those shots to the chin
00:08:13Comes across to the sleeper hole
00:08:18In the tornado break free what a great match to include
00:08:23On Coliseum video super tape brought out for his exclusive encounter
00:08:29Indeed it is. These are certainly super superstars both make great wrestlers with tremendous ability
00:08:36But at the moment they're showing how tough how powerful they are
00:08:39And here's the tornado gritting his teeth hanging in against that slooper hold being applied by mr. Perfect
00:08:47and very successfully
00:08:49being applied
00:08:52A
00:08:53Referee moves in trying to check on the condition of the tornado. We get a three count. It will be all over
00:09:01Mr. Perfect the winner your submission
00:09:06It's about two and a half and that's it
00:09:09There's a courage throwing showing through with the Texas Tornado
00:09:14Carry on there really a powerful man's
00:09:17Oh
00:09:19Great great wrestling moves
00:09:21That's a perfect showing those lightning reflexes
00:09:26all that power behind the tornado punch
00:09:29And the flawless one got the arm up to block it
00:09:33You can know how he saw it coming
00:09:36Very heads up very alert motions there by mr. Perfect
00:09:41By perfect
00:09:43And we were so close to that
00:09:46Tornado comes charging in slams that shoulder into the ring post and mr. Perfect busy in the opposite corner
00:09:54Just took the turnbuckle off
00:09:57Showing great camera work by our Coliseum video cameraman here
00:10:01Taking us right inside the ring right to where the action is a close-up here now
00:10:06Mr. Perfect trying to do something very very dastardly they're
00:10:11exposing that metal
00:10:14And I think we know what he has in mind
00:10:19The tornado blocks it he almost didn't though
00:10:23That was awfully close
00:10:25Tornado seems to be absolutely inspired by that
00:10:29Oh
00:10:31He'll never get back in now right over the top rope goes mr. Perfect
00:10:41Tornado wasn't done and you just saw
00:10:46The incredible collision with
00:10:49Gary Von Erich's hand in the ring post as he tried to get mr. Perfect with a tornado punch again
00:10:55On over the top into the iron steel post there
00:10:59Mr. Perfect really beating off now on tornado
00:11:04Was so unlucky just then to smash his wrist into that steel corner post
00:11:10Could have easily broken a few bones in that hand
00:11:14Guys to go for the cover mr. Perfect and raids he thought the count was slow
00:11:17Oh
00:11:24Wallace what attempted to lock in the perfect flex this move has ended a lot of encounters. Could this be it for the Texas Tornado?
00:11:34Slams it in one two
00:11:38The Texas Tornado breaks free
00:11:41How often have you seen that Lord Alfred? I have never ever seen that. How did he do that Sean?
00:11:47What a move of absolute power and energy
00:11:52Look at this the floor is on firmly fixed and I've never seen anybody break from that can perfect show him likewise
00:12:03Really having its effects on the intercontinental champion
00:12:09He's sinking Sean perfect is going down draining the power from the flawless one
00:12:15Oh
00:12:17And mr. Perfect resorts to any tactic draws in the referee
00:12:23And he is out of it
00:12:25That's his tornado gets mr. Perfect with a tornado punch again, here's the cover
00:12:38Once again, I ask you Sean how could mr. Perfect find the courage and the strength to bust out of that hole?
00:12:46Oh, these are both very gifted athletes
00:12:52Performing way beyond their limits right now
00:12:56You're so right. That's above and beyond anything. I've seen either of them accomplished. Well, we've got a barrel not quite sure what the decision is
00:13:04Here's the official word
00:13:11Do I hear that right surprising decision
00:13:15That mr. Perfect was disqualified
00:13:18That's incredible the official word Lord Alfred Hayes, but this battle isn't over yet
00:13:24We the superstar wants it to end
00:13:29As this war continues between these two
00:13:37The Texas
00:13:39Not going to get the championship because you cannot put it to a disqualification
00:14:10I know you're not too fond of the Birdman, but I saw you tapping your feet, you know, I look what the bird did. Oh
00:14:18Right there on my shoe my loafers, they're $1,200 shoes
00:14:25Yeah, you're making a towel Birdman dress quite colorful
00:14:34As usual
00:14:39Oh
00:14:44Big favorite here at Madison Square Garden Tito Santana, you know, they're both big favorites everywhere. They go
00:14:51He does a great shape, you know as much as I don't like Tito Santana and don't like Coco no particular reason
00:14:56I just don't like them, but they're both in great shape. They're both great athletes
00:14:59You got to give them that and for everybody like scientific good good on the mat up and down wrestling
00:15:05You're gonna see it here now if you want to see
00:15:08If you want to see a great match, well, then you're gonna have to watch remember my family
00:15:12I know it I know you just could not compliment two superstars and leave it at that
00:15:16You always have to put the disclaimer on there
00:15:18You couldn't just say that these are two very gifted athletes in the ring at this time
00:15:23No, you always gotta bring your family somehow on top. I
00:15:28Apologize. These are two very very good gifted athletes. Thank you
00:15:32Of course if I was there we go again, I
00:15:36Won't say nothing. This is a very interesting matchup here
00:15:40between the Birdman Coco beware and Tito Santana
00:15:44And each known for their different talents I
00:15:48Would say it's worried about me. Look at Coco's already worried about me worried about him
00:15:52He took his eyes off him and looked at me I'm not going to tell everybody what I saw you
00:15:59No, no, no, I mean he's number one that's the gist
00:16:05Either well, it's a sweat in his eyes. It was the index just so he knows
00:16:12Like that bird, oh, it's beautiful. How do you like it extra crispy or a little bit of a little bit of a
00:16:17You like that bird, oh, it's beautiful. How do you like it extra crispy or a girl
00:16:22Talking about as a pet
00:16:29Flowers seeds everybody come over put galoshes on you. It'd be great
00:16:35To put him to see right there you show them the great sportsmanship between these two superstars
00:16:41Shaking hands
00:16:42Shaking hands
00:16:44They're here for the competition. There is no grudge between these two
00:16:48But it could happen. It's like a good match. I think it's so competitive in your things go back and forth each way
00:16:53I'm gonna get hot
00:16:55It wouldn't be good competitors if they say about that Bobby. He didn't I have to think these are
00:17:00Well, I don't I don't say they're gonna reach the point level-headed superstars who just enjoy
00:17:05Great match. They're not gonna reach the point where they're gonna be in each other with chairs and stuffing out on the floor
00:17:09But I'm gonna guarantee you tempers are gonna flare because they're both that way. They're competitive now
00:17:14If Tito Santana were in the ring right now with a model Rick Martel, I would say it would be a completely different story
00:17:18Yeah, Tito be begging
00:17:22Little more fired up with the temper department
00:17:29Good back and forth here between Coco beware and Tito Santana very good
00:17:34Series of reversals very now Coco holding on excellent breaks him over good move could have been a little quicker
00:17:42snap to it
00:17:45Playing to the referee at this point see
00:17:48Starting to lose it. It's starting to heat up
00:17:50It will it has to if they weren't competitors, they wouldn't be in the World Wrestling Federation
00:17:55They both want to win. They this is Madison Square Garden. Nobody want to walk
00:17:59Nobody wants to walk out of here the loser. I think you would agree though. You've seen these two together before
00:18:02They're pretty good friends. I would
00:18:05See this erupt into
00:18:07Well, they are friends as far as I know, but I'll tell you when it comes to that paycheck
00:18:11You don't have a friend shoulder block there by Tito Santana down goes Coco
00:18:26Great series there by Tito Santana
00:18:29Bobby Heenan, I would say at this point it's been dead even between these two. I
00:18:33Think we both both knew this was gonna be a great match. Here we go. I told you
00:18:38Tito pulled the hair no more handshakes at this point now those handshakes have turned to shoves
00:18:50You don't want to see this happening Bobby Heenan, I like it I like a good fight with friends
00:18:55I like a good divorce
00:18:57You can see the intense looks that wait a minute Tito wants to just cast it all aside and start over
00:19:04He doesn't want to get any bad tension between the two of them. Yes. Well, it's my favorite movie
00:19:08I love the one is that not surprised me that you would like misery between two people
00:19:15Welcome but it goes after Tito and now this is really erupted
00:19:19Hungry Coco wants that money. This is Madison Square Garden
00:19:23He walks out of here with a win over Tito Santana and the winner's share of that money
00:19:28His name looks pretty good when it comes time for contracts
00:19:32Prized by the behavior of Coco beware. It looked as though Tito wanted to really cool it
00:19:44This is surprising me I thought it would heat up
00:19:47This is this is surprising me I thought it would heat up I don't think he'd throw Tito out of the ring with
00:19:55Nothing Bobby Heenan, I'm sure you're aware of it seems so this crowd has really been split at this point
00:20:01Rooting for the man from Tecula, Mexico and the other for the broadband
00:20:06What was like in downtown to cool? Well, I haven't had the pleasure of visiting. I'm sure it's a nice little
00:20:12Mexican town one of the skyscrapers are like there. Well, I doubt there's any skyscrapers, but you know, it's probably a quaint little
00:20:21Oh, yeah
00:20:25Sick for 30 years
00:20:27Coco really keeping up the onslaught here
00:20:30Drives Tito's shoulder into the ring post. They don't make enough rollies to get you to Google healthy
00:20:37And then there was something said in the verbal exchange or something that really said Coco off because I
00:20:42Think Tito made a remark about his bird
00:20:45That that could have been true, but I would be surprised to hear that that was something Tito would do so
00:20:50You don't want to be compared to your bird
00:20:54Won't touch that one rather call the action here
00:20:58Coco the forearm now
00:21:01He stays after Tito Santana
00:21:04And they were friends before they certainly are not now
00:21:11As Tito fires back
00:21:13See Coco's big mistake was throwing Tito out of the ring the game Tito time to get back all his air
00:21:19Hide into the corner Tito charges in you don't have him. You don't have him
00:21:24He didn't get him good there either. Oh, that's some of the atomic drop
00:21:28This is really got back and forth between these two superstars
00:21:33Coco going to the cover here does not hook the leg
00:21:36Allowing Santana to kick out rather easily. I don't even think we got a count of two Bobby
00:21:40He didn't barely a kind of do you can't tell what the referee?
00:21:43Sometimes he says two he means three. He don't know very few
00:21:49Referee
00:21:51I'd be fair to like to see that especially you saying especially if one of your family members were in the same time
00:21:58Well, I think we can rest assured president Jack Teddy would never let that happen in the event
00:22:02It did happen being in that position. I'd have to be fair. I'd have to be
00:22:07impartial I
00:22:09Could do it
00:22:11Obviously you
00:22:12You've never been afraid of these circumstances before
00:22:16Why on earth would you say that you would be fair because I'd have that job as a referee
00:22:22I'd have to at least I have pride in myself and what I do. What do you think?
00:22:26The charlatan a guy would rip a guy off come on back to the action, it's not good bird's-eye view there
00:22:33Frankie's point of view. Well, you go great in a bag of shake and bake
00:22:41Coco
00:22:43What's your favorite Santana your favorite part of the parrot?
00:22:48Never tried the delicacy before
00:22:52Like the beak
00:22:56You show me something Coco stay out of it
00:23:00Rather surprised that Santana has been so resilient. He really nailed him with his boots slap across the face
00:23:06I like it another slap across the face
00:23:09This Coco's got spunk
00:23:12Perhaps you may find somebody else for the family the way the Birdman is behaving tonight
00:23:17Using some really low tactics. Well tactics. He's trying to win the match
00:23:22Start into a brawl good
00:23:25We want look more like a boxing match
00:23:27We don't want to see two pansies roll around in an armlock do we want to see some teeth come flying out of that?
00:23:33Yeah, lips swell up and I close. That's what I like to see
00:23:37This is not resembling a wrestling match at all at this point
00:23:41We've gotten into fisticuffs and rebel Dave Hebner having no luck at all and breaking them apart. Hey Coco's ahead on points
00:23:49Body slam by the Birdman
00:23:55As we return to some order of a wrestling encounter
00:23:59Coco may have taken a little too much time Coco beware going all the way up to the top
00:24:03We know how dangerous he is from that points
00:24:08Santana
00:24:12You could have blown her knee right there pal
00:24:16Perhaps he did he really came down hard. No, he's all right
00:24:19Oh
00:24:23Santana blocking and following up with his own good right there down goes Coco
00:24:30Whoa, what a slam
00:24:35Another one Santana comes back with a flurry of moves and that's Coco
00:24:41Who wants him to let up?
00:24:44And Frankie is really stirring over on his stand
00:24:48Wanting to witness this you don't know who he's going home with
00:24:54Turns him around sets him up here for the atomic drop. Whoa accuracy
00:25:00You don't know if he's gonna spend a night with Coco and a cage or in a pot with Tabasco sauce
00:25:05This is what he's got slight both men
00:25:08Oh
00:25:15He was lucky that could have gone to Coco beware at any time
00:25:20That was a great match tremendous head to this encounter Tito Santana, let's get the official word
00:25:26We
00:25:33Just witnessed a tremendous match between the Birdman Coco beware and Tito Santana your lordship
00:25:38Do you happen to catch some of the action the consummate driver Sean never allows his attention to be diverted from the road?
00:25:46Get out the way. Excuse me rabbit
00:25:50Alfred you sure you know where we're going. It's beginning to look a bit rural around here my dear fellow
00:25:55I've told you before I know precisely where we are at all. You better look where you're going right now
00:26:03Think we better get back to super tape for let's take a look at some WWF superstars past and present who have turned their
00:26:10Talents to broadcasting in a feature. We call from the mat to the mic and you're in this feature as well your lordship
00:26:16But keep your eyes on the road right wrong
00:26:25Oh
00:26:55Hello everyone and welcome once again to Madison Square Garden and the World Wrestling Federation
00:26:59I'm gorilla monsoon along with his lordship Alfred Hayes and we've got a blockbuster of a lineup here for you tonight in Madison Square
00:27:06Garden
00:27:08For Coliseum home video and you know folks at least once a day someone will come up to me and say gorilla
00:27:14How did you make the transition from professional wrestler to professional broadcaster? Well folks, believe me. It was easy
00:27:21I got tired of those young guys beating on my old body. Now to be serious. It was a fun move for me
00:27:27It was exciting
00:27:28It still is exciting and it gives me a chance to let you in on some of the insights
00:27:33Some of the inside of what's going through the mind of the professional wrestlers that you're seeing today
00:27:38It also gives me an opportunity to tell you what I feel is right and what's wrong here in the World Wrestling Federation
00:27:45And of course now that I'm working with President Jack Tunney of the World Wrestling Federation
00:27:50You're gonna be seen in hearing a whole lot more of what the gorilla thinks of what's going on here in the World Wrestling Federation
00:27:57So for Coliseum home video, this is gorilla monsoon saying I'll be looking for you
00:28:20Oh
00:28:35What did he do
00:28:40Strikeout or he could hit
00:28:43Let's get
00:28:46So you want to know what it's like coming from the rain into the announcers both
00:28:51Ah, like they're talking to me like I'm all washed up like that's all over
00:28:56I fight anybody any time of course in the announcing booth
00:29:00What's kind of fun when McMahon gets really ticked you get to see the varicose vein in his nose go boom. Boom
00:29:04Boom boom boom boom and that nice purple jacket that he wears changes a nice shade of red
00:29:10And then you get to see savage with the varicose veins
00:29:12You know, what would help that boy savage a little colon cleanser wash that right out
00:29:16Anyway, probably the best part about it is I get to sit and watch other people being beaten up
00:29:40I
00:29:42I
00:30:07Well, I must say it was a tremendous thrill for me to team up one time only
00:30:12With Hulk Hogan in a matchup against mr. Fuji and George the animal steel
00:30:18I retired after that one scant victory
00:30:20And of course now I feel a much more comfortable on this side of the microphone as one of the broadcasters
00:30:26Here on the World Wrestling Federation. Oh, I've had an odd job here and there I sold aluminum siding
00:30:33Drove cab down in Charleston, South Carolina a couple of paper routes
00:30:36But nonetheless, I feel quite comfortable here at Mike's side in the World Wrestling Federation as it announced
00:30:42very
00:31:06Oh
00:31:17Yeah from the mat to the mic a small step it seems but it's harder than that
00:31:23Yeah, I remember being inside that squared circle and when I was there I fought the best
00:31:29Yeah, I fought seven foot five
00:31:32Five hundred and fifty pound Andre the giant and I fought him toe-to-toe
00:31:38Yeah, and I also fought the three-time World Wrestling Federation
00:31:43Champion Hulk Hogan. Yeah, who some say was the greatest of all time?
00:31:48Yeah, and I fought him and I think he remembers the macho man Randy Savage
00:31:54and then there was Ricky the Dragon Steamboat and Tito Santana and the ultimate warrior and the names go on and
00:32:02On and on and on and all of a sudden president Jack Tunney with a stipulation in the World Wrestling Federation
00:32:09WrestleMania 7 brought the career of the macho man Randy Savage to an abrupt end
00:32:17Guess what? I went to the top of the mountain. Yeah, I became the World Wrestling Federation champion and I
00:32:25Attained that goal through intensity. Yeah, and the same intensity will be when I am
00:32:32the world's greatest
00:32:35Broadcaster. Yeah
00:32:37the macho man Randy Savage
00:32:39Calling it as it is
00:32:41Giving you insight that other people never even experienced. I am what I am
00:32:48And I am a broadcaster for the World Wrestling Federation
00:32:53You know, I like it. Yeah
00:32:55Yeah, I like it a lot
00:32:58Oh
00:32:59Yeah, and I call it like I see it and I see it like I see it and that's the way that it is
00:33:06from the mat
00:33:08to the microphone
00:33:12Yeah
00:33:13Dig it
00:33:15Well so far with the exception of Lord Alfred Hayes
00:33:17We have all seen some great action right here on super tape for and there is still a lot more to come right now
00:33:23It's time for our fan favorite match
00:33:25Lorne Goodman of Wichita, Kansas requested to see an encounter between the Undertaker and the sailing superstar tugboat
00:33:33Oh
00:33:34Rat watch a bit of a problem. I think there's a spot of engine trouble here. Sure
00:33:39Oh, I didn't expect this. I'll have to pull over
00:33:44This oh
00:33:46Gosh, this is just dreadful
00:33:49Um while we check out the van, why don't you check out the fan favorite match
00:33:56The following contest is scheduled for one fall
00:34:00accompanied to the ring by his manager
00:34:04From Death Valley
00:34:12Death Valley he
00:34:15Son
00:34:19No, I don't think he does my look at that cold stare
00:34:25Blinking eyes
00:34:27If he did come out during the daytime, I'm sure he'd clear the streets in a hurry
00:34:33You imagine running into him at night
00:34:36Wow
00:34:39He must have gotten a close look at the Undertaker that is the usual reaction
00:34:46When he arrives at an arena
00:34:50Sean I know you always try to hide your feelings, but even you showed a little sort of
00:34:57Grimace there as he came out
00:34:59the Lord Alfred it is very difficult to
00:35:03Remain unaffected by his presence
00:35:07A very eerie feeling
00:35:10That superstar
00:35:12Shiver runs off your spine
00:35:15There's a superstar who would like to send him
00:35:19Into the sea of defeats the tankers away with the arrival of tugboats
00:35:29Exclusive matchup
00:35:31Coliseum video
00:35:33Yes, how they secure this match is beyond me because I don't think the Undertaker ever wanted to face anybody like tugboat yet
00:35:41He must I'd say this is going to be a super match
00:35:46for super tape
00:35:48Absolutely super tapes have been so good with their matches all exclusive matches just a Coliseum video
00:35:56And I'm so lucky that we're sitting here Sean and we're not right in the ring with those two to behemoths
00:36:03Lock up, but briefly neither one giving an inch
00:36:09Talk about mass inside the squared circle
00:36:13Now the boat
00:36:16Jobs the Undertaker away. He comes off the rope
00:36:20What a love not to please the outcome of that
00:36:27Wow tugboats haha gosh all that massive girth
00:36:32Slamming into the Undertaker. He took one step back
00:36:36That would have sent the common man back up into about the fifth row
00:36:39I think so, too
00:36:40You know, we've got a good chance to measure these two up to each other as they stood nose-to-nose then talk boat is 6-8
00:36:47So that really places the Undertaker around 6-10, I would imagine
00:36:52I
00:36:55Vote steps over. Oh and the Undertaker
00:37:01Does though he were gonna attempt a leapfrog changed his mind and just brought his knee right into the shoulder of
00:37:07The big boss man. I mean, excuse me have tugboats
00:37:10That was way off for that one a most innovative move there
00:37:16By the Undertaker as you say quite rightly he went for that leapfrog
00:37:20Realized he couldn't make that tremendous height and change it into a knee straight to the side of the face a great move by the
00:37:27Undertaker
00:37:29tugboat over with the flying mare
00:37:31That's a drop an elbow
00:37:36The tugboat full speed full speed ahead out of the way of that one
00:37:39And that move certainly knocked some of the starch out of the Undertaker
00:37:43In fact, I've never seen the undertaker down twice like this
00:37:46I don't think I've ever seen him taken off his feet before Sean tugboat really nails
00:37:53Undertaker with that clothesline
00:37:57He was not just taken off his feet he sailed off his feet Lord Alfred Hayes he did down again is the Undertaker
00:38:05A
00:38:07Little slow there. I was about to say that he was beginning to get a little touch of too much confidence
00:38:13And you cannot do that against a man like the Undertaker
00:38:19Now the super star a little bit of trouble
00:38:25Across the second
00:38:29As the pale destroyer
00:38:31Keeps up the onslaught tugboat struggles to his feet but still in the corner
00:38:39And he is trapped
00:38:42What tugboat who had most of this match in the opening moments or minutes? I should say in fact has now fallen behind
00:38:49And this is where tugboat has got to rely upon that courage and grit that he does possess. We know he's not short on that
00:39:01Very heads-up very alert. Is it enough?
00:39:04The undertaker uses a leverage here
00:39:07But he cannot keep tugboat down
00:39:13The undertaker almost inhuman what Alfred Hayes did you see the force he went into the corner?
00:39:18Yes, I slammed his elbow into the turnbuckle. He did not even wince. No
00:39:23Look at this pounding his head
00:39:26It's tugboat spine
00:39:31Part of his body
00:39:35That takes any pain at all
00:39:37Shows it
00:39:38No, definitely not. He can really take a lot of heavy heavy blows and still come back
00:39:43But he's taking some more heavy blows now and there he is coming right back striking again
00:39:49What an incredibly exciting man he is even though he is so ominous and deadly
00:39:56As a wrist lock on tugboat now goes up to the top rope
00:40:03What brings up the other arm to try and break free and just slingshots the undertaker
00:40:10Across the ring
00:40:12Great raw power being shown there by tugboat. He really has done
00:40:17Oh
00:40:21But what happened there he couldn't hold his man down so I didn't quite see that did he hit his head as he came down
00:40:28I think he did quite sure
00:40:31injury tugboat occurred
00:40:33Trying to pull off that power slam
00:40:39To have taken most of the damage
00:40:44Now the undertaker goes after him
00:40:48What's the head down?
00:40:51And tugboat alertly
00:40:53Brings the boot to the face
00:40:56What a mistake there by the undertaker just as he had reversed the tables everything going in his favor
00:41:03And now once again, it's tugboat. Who's definitely on top trying to put his mark on his back. He doesn't succeed again
00:41:11Now the undertaker going all the way to the top rope
00:41:15And tugboat is flat out. He walks a rope
00:41:19Grabs the elbow dead center into the chest. Here's the cover
00:41:25And what a great match this turned out to be
00:41:29What happened here
00:41:34I would say this is the first time I have really seen the undertaker put to the test
00:41:40As
00:41:42He comes up against tugboat and he may have come out the victor, but he will long remember this encounter with a sailing superstar
00:42:02Devious one pacing in the squared circle led to the ring by mr.
00:42:07Doesn't like to wait very long
00:42:09No, he's like royalty. He doesn't like to be kept waiting. I never do either Sean
00:42:14I'm a little impatient when somebody keeps me waiting little
00:42:17Good shot there of crush
00:42:20Now under the direction of mr.
00:42:22Oh
00:42:34Rockers kept sailing in and look at the folks here at Savannah. They love body genetic and shot Michaels
00:42:43Shot to take home. Yes, those two young men are excitement one has to face that gosh
00:42:52T-shirt. Oh
00:42:54No, go
00:42:56This matchup though. We're not going to see tag team action. We're going to see Shawn Michaels one-on-one
00:43:03One half of the awesome force known as demolition crush
00:43:08Some last-minute instructions to his young charge. Yes, Sean. It looks as if
00:43:15Sean Michaels has bought his tag-team partner in with him Marty Gigante to counterbalance. Mr
00:43:21Fuji's appearance on the other corner
00:43:26Exactly, right
00:43:27That's going to be enough though. I don't know perhaps smash will make an appearance
00:43:32That will be big trouble. No, I don't think that would happen quite honestly. Mr. Fuji has bought crush here
00:43:38He signed this much for him. It's a big step up the ladder if he can beat Shawn Michaels
00:43:43Don't forget both of these men are very very used to wrestling tag-team matches
00:43:52Michaels already a little bit of trouble ducks out of the way of that elbow
00:43:58Perhaps could have ended it
00:43:59Saw where it was aimed right for his job, but Shawn Michaels was not there now crush just deposits Michaels on the top rope
00:44:07Michaels great move there does a quick flip
00:44:12Comes back with a kick to the chest, but crush still on his feet
00:44:17Powerful clothesline still not enough
00:44:25Flying shoulder-block finally takes him down, but then when he goes for the cover
00:44:29Crush just bench presses him out of the ring
00:44:32He threw him about 10 feet or so across and out through the ropes. That was great power
00:44:38Displayed by that young man crush who in my opinion is one of the most formidable stars at a very tender age of 24
00:44:45In the World Wrestling Federation. Let's see it ringside. There is Janay Lee attempted to come around
00:44:51Mr. Fuji standing guard with the cane
00:44:53Military presses with Shawn Michaels finally he'd had enough and use the leg scissor to bring down crush
00:45:00Show this is tremendous wrestling by Janay Lee
00:45:04He's giving away a lot in pounds. He's giving away a lot in strength, but he's giving a lesson also
00:45:10to crush in how
00:45:12Unpredictable he is
00:45:14He's giving away a lot in strength, but he's giving away a lot in strength
00:45:18In how a smaller man can take advantage of a bigger man a skilled smaller man
00:45:24Yes, very good. Look at those eyes of Janay Lee looking on nervously
00:45:29Sure, he'd like to be in there. I think he would I'm almost sure he would these two boys love a fight
00:45:37They have one several
00:45:40They have indeed
00:45:42Their name is in the record book in the world
00:45:44Indeed their name is in the record book and Delafry printed on the winner's side
00:45:54Crush completely spins Shawn Michaels around and that turns it into a backbreaker
00:45:59You saw how hard he came down on that knee
00:46:03Probably wonder at this point if you'll ever straighten up again
00:46:06Shawn can you imagine the timing the precision and the power needed to execute a move like that?
00:46:13That's one of the finest moves. I have ever seen
00:46:16and then crush
00:46:19Makes it worse by hoisting Shawn Michaels up down to his shoulders
00:46:24Another backbreaker another version of it
00:46:30Michaels down to the canvas
00:46:32Just a little too much lump with that cover
00:46:36But crush now in full control of this much putting his authority very very firmly indeed
00:46:44So far, he's been methodically taking Shawn Michaels apart
00:46:48I
00:47:01Obviously sending a message to the other rocker on the outside how easily he can handle at least one of them
00:47:12Whatever it takes to get free
00:47:15Is that how you imagine just how much pain he was suffering is that how you explain him deliberately
00:47:21with what he did
00:47:26You do just about whatever it takes to get out of it
00:47:30Well, of course you never resorted to those tactics occasionally when I was in the same predicament, okay
00:47:40Let's go back to the back locking his scissor lock around
00:47:44Shawn Michaels midsection
00:47:46Going to force the air
00:47:48Out of him. I think he's succeeding. It looks that way Shawn
00:47:53This really has been an incredible lesson in wrestling given by both crush and Shawn Michaels
00:47:59If ever there was a clinic that you could go to school by this is it these two wrestling?
00:48:05beautifully
00:48:08Michaels having a tough time keeping both shoulders off the canvas
00:48:12I'm sure mr. Fuji is finding great pleasure in witnessing that
00:48:16Yes, he does. Indeed. He finds the sadistic pleasure in anything that his team
00:48:22cross
00:48:24May have a submission here your lordship. There's two
00:48:28Best believes he's got it
00:48:30Oh
00:48:39Michaels
00:48:45And biting furiously too and there's a little tip attack some of his own medicine back there
00:48:50I don't want to see this belt deteriorate into just a clumsy brawl because both men have shown skills
00:48:58Remarkable skills far beyond the achievement of many many seasoned veteran wrestlers. I
00:49:05Think both superstars are going to have to get a control of their emotions because there's a lot of anger
00:49:10I think involved between these two superstars right now
00:49:13It's getting the best of them
00:49:15all the way to the top rope now
00:49:18John Michaels sprawled out in the center of the canvas
00:49:22I'm sad hard with the knee
00:49:29Mistake that crash has made the first one that can really get him into a lot of trouble and that was a bad bad mess
00:49:37Missed him by a mile
00:49:41Michaels still can't get to his feet, but he's fighting anyway. He's a scrub back up
00:49:48I
00:49:50Think in football, they'd call that a clip Lord Alfred Hayes, but it did what John Michaels set out to do
00:49:58right off his feet
00:50:09Referee slips in for the counts and he never saw it
00:50:18And what a tremendous victory here
00:50:22Shawn Michaels and a little help from his friend Marty Janetti
00:50:26We're going to get another look at what went down
00:50:30It was crushed. Yes, and this was behind the referees back. His tension has been diverted by mr
00:50:35Fuji who really after all is to blame for this loss by his man
00:50:39But then the Rockers come out successful
00:50:42Michaels a brilliant victory for him and no doubt the first of many many in singles competition
00:50:50This appears to be your normal engine nothing too bothersome here
00:50:55Pliers coming down. Oh got him. Oh, this is such a messy job. My gauntlets here. Oh
00:51:04Sure, I found the problem. Oh, yeah. Oh, yes
00:51:08Oh, that's great. It's great. You found the problem. Yeah, you can fix it. We can be on our way
00:51:13I said I found the problem Shawn. I
00:51:17Can't fix it. Oh
00:51:19great
00:51:20We're coming up here on super tape for we'll get some cooking tips from the bushwhackers
00:51:24But right now it's time for a Coliseum video exclusive a handicap battle featuring the Legion of Doom taking on the Orient Express
00:51:30And their manager. Mr. Fuji
00:51:33Now what do we do your lordship miles from nowhere I've got to be at this meeting look at me I'm a mess
00:51:39You are I'll never get there
00:52:03The team of the Orient Express
00:52:13You think mr. Fuji has spent perhaps a little too much time in the sushi hut
00:52:19To be effective in this encounter Lord Alfred Hayes, or is he always dangerous
00:52:23He is always dangerous. Don't be deceived. I would say a little extra poundage around the middle
00:52:32Oh
00:52:52The Legion of Doom are concerned at all about the odds in this matchup after seeing their faces
00:52:58I don't think they have a care in the world. No, they look very intense
00:53:04Ready to get this match underway a handicap battle
00:53:08Mocking animals wearing up against mr. Fuji the devious one
00:53:12Along with Kato and Tanaka the Orient Express three on two in this exclusive matchup Coliseum video
00:53:21Fuji showed his experience then
00:53:23He told his team to clear the ring when those chaps got in because they're steel spikes on those uniforms or whatever you would call
00:53:30Them that they wear and you certainly don't want to clash with those things
00:53:34Those are a different version of the American football pads thrown up. It is somewhat customized. Yeah
00:53:41They are very different
00:53:43Well, mr. Fuji a little ritual here. I mean paying to the
00:53:48Range of the gods of victory, I guess. Yes, but I would keep an eye on that bag of salt
00:53:54It may come into play in this battle. I don't think so
00:53:57Sure, you don't think for a moment that the devious one is capable of any questionable tactics
00:54:03Well, he already believes he's tripped
00:54:06Legion of doom into coming to into the ring when they signed a contract it was against Orient Express
00:54:12Then Fuji pointed out after their signatures were there that he was a member of the
00:54:17Orient Express and now here they are two against three. I don't think those odds are very very good for Legion of doom
00:54:26Legion of doom you saw the exchange right there Legion of doom
00:54:31Wants the referee to check out. Mr. Fuji thoroughly. They are protesting
00:54:36that he may have
00:54:38We're seeing right there now. It's in the waistband
00:54:41Yes, but I don't think he is he just gets used to putting it there Sean
00:54:46Now, wait a minute Lord Alfred Hayes
00:54:48Give me one good reason why he would want to keep that on his person
00:54:52Well, except to use it to his advantage with the Japanese
00:54:57It is a right that when they put the salt in their corner the devils do not go there
00:55:02They hate salt and I would imagine that he doesn't want the devils around him either
00:55:08If you've ever been close to animal
00:55:12Tattoo of the Tasmanian devil, I would say mr. Fuji's gonna have a tough time
00:55:16Keeping that devil away in this encounter. He dares to get into the ring
00:55:23Sorry that incredible upper body strength animal catapults Kato cross the ring
00:55:31The only thing that was in his way
00:55:34Hitting the canvas was his chest. Yes
00:55:37Awesome, the only thing that braces fall there
00:55:42Animal a big big man
00:55:45Kato gave it his best shot
00:55:49Now tries another tactic begging for mercy
00:55:54Yes, it's sort of a delaying tactic that hoping that animal wouldn't close in on him again so quickly
00:56:03My god
00:56:06Animal glance down
00:56:08As though a fly was bothering yes, and look at look at Kato now trapped the animal and caught him coming into the ring
00:56:16I'm surprised animal fell for that now getting through the armor somewhat
00:56:21So shaking up animal a little bit
00:56:27That for long power slam
00:56:30Now Tanaka comes in for some and he's going to get it from both members of the Legion of Doom
00:56:38Tanaka landed on his face there. I'm sure he must have
00:56:43Well, I don't know. He must be unconscious. Surely. I'd love to see a replay of that from about 20 feet high
00:56:50Tanaka launched
00:56:52With the script the lights up there
00:56:55in a roof
00:56:57Fuji telling him in Japanese. I presume to get up and get back in the ring
00:57:01Well, it didn't happen to him. Did it? Well, the DBS were not too anxious to partake himself
00:57:07No
00:57:08After seeing that I can understand why Wow what power that was it was like being shot from a cannon
00:57:14Tanaka showing some bravery as he steps back into the squared circle
00:57:19Tag made in the Legion of Doom in comes Hawk
00:57:22He's also showing great durability to be able to come back into the ring after that devastating blow. What was that?
00:57:30He has done
00:57:32That would frighten any man I think it put it frightened me and I'm nowhere near him a
00:57:43Devastating shoulder block. Oh my word
00:57:47Well, I would say when Hawk hisses at you you have better
00:57:50Yes, watch yourself run for the hills or something. Hi do anything. Oh gosh, I
00:57:57Believe an American expression for what is happening now is that Hawk is cleaning his clock
00:58:03and
00:58:05little interference there from Kato
00:58:07As the Orient Express figures out the only way to handle the Legion of Doom is a double team
00:58:13Tanaka take it out. Kato tries to come in with a punch hot caught it
00:58:22Legion of Doom is just awesome
00:58:25Sharing
00:58:30Animal not about to let Kate to out of this one throws it back into the top rope box sends it back over
00:58:35He doesn't want him either
00:58:36Well, both men have taken great punishment, but mr. Fuji hasn't even been in the ring yet
00:58:42No that damaging crunching blow on the outside there from animal
00:58:46They are very very satisfied with the way this match is going a Legion of Doom
00:58:52And the way this match is going I would say the region of doom not too fond of the Orient Express
00:58:58They're treating the most
00:59:01disrespectfully
00:59:02So far, they have totally destroyed any effort on the part of the Orient Express to mount an offensive
00:59:10Either Kato or Tanaka
00:59:13Having much effect on either one of the massive superstars and mr. Fuji continues to stay clear
00:59:20Yes, he's director of operations on the safe side of the apron there right he got dressed for this one
00:59:28It's still been in his top coat his hat and his coat over there
00:59:33Tanaka tries to come across with a head scissor
00:59:38So he's the one who's end up who ends up scissored
00:59:47What is happening now watch Fuji
00:59:49watching closely
00:59:52And there's the salt that he kept in his waistband there
00:59:57It comes into play as we expected and now and only now does mr. Fuji dare to come into the ring
01:00:05animal blinded
01:00:08Great tactics this by the Orient Express mr. Fuji
01:00:13Has wreaked havoc of damage upon these that he was hoping to do
01:00:18Things do not look good for all for the legion of doom
01:00:24Leap frogs over the top right on to the back of animal the referee has no idea what has taken place
01:00:31Animal gets his sight back. He ducks that clothesline and comes back
01:00:36To nail both Tanaka and Kato it comes Hawk and he is enraged
01:00:44A
01:00:45Piece of both members of the Orient Express, and I'm sure he'd like to see the devious one in there
01:00:53He's really destroying Orient Express and a one for mr. Devious, mr. Fuji on the outside
01:01:03Little slingshot action animal hot into the corner
01:01:08Kato takes the full brunt of it
01:01:10Now lots all the way to the top pock on the top rope
01:01:15360s Kato, here's the covered out goes the referee for the couch
01:01:23And Lord Alfred Hayes, let's get the official word
01:01:32I'll tell you to find this encounter is a decisive victory for the Legion of doom
01:01:39Harkin animal
01:01:40You're so right, Sean
01:01:42They controlled this match practically the entire distance
01:01:45There was a brief period midway through this when Fuji threw the sword and they looked to be in command
01:01:51But Legion of doom animal and horse came back and they registered a very impressive victory
01:01:57I
01:02:04Get everyone and welcome to another Coliseum video exclusive this time out

01:03:55That's for Ron
01:03:57Ron who?
01:03:59For later on
01:04:01Yay
01:04:03You've got to be kidding me
01:04:05Yay
01:04:07We all try to know a lot about good nutrition
01:04:09A good diet
01:04:11And a good diet starts with carbohydrates
01:04:13What better carbohydrates
01:04:15Than mashed potatoes
01:04:17And the special mashed potatoes
01:04:19Being put together here by the bushwhackers
01:04:21Well me and Gene
01:04:23Carrying on with this gourmet cooking
01:04:25You know you've got to put the special
01:04:27Flavoring in the potatoes
01:04:29To make a real good
01:04:31Ingredients or special one
01:04:33Now we have a real special one
01:04:35The bushwhackers always use
01:04:37And this is real special
01:04:39It's bushwhacker spices
01:04:41Right cousin
01:04:43And it makes mashed potatoes
01:04:45Real nice with the spice
01:04:47It's real nice
01:04:49Ok
01:04:51This is what we do me and Gene
01:04:53We stick a little spice in there
01:04:55What's the matter
01:04:57Oh yes
01:04:59That's what it is
01:05:01That's what makes it really good
01:05:03Lovely spice
01:05:05That's the one we needed
01:05:07The special ingredient
01:05:09We needed that one mate
01:05:11I love them like this
01:05:13You know when it comes to nutrition
01:05:15No one is more conscientious than I am
01:05:17I know the importance of vegetables
01:05:19Green leafy vegetables
01:05:21Like cabbage
01:05:23Like spinach
01:05:25And for goodness sakes bushwhackers
01:05:27We can't forget this broccoli
01:05:29They're the greatest
01:05:31Well me and Gene
01:05:33In our main courses the bushwhacker always
01:05:35Gives a little bit of greens you know
01:05:37But they do have a little slight problem
01:05:39Sometimes mate
01:05:41What is that
01:05:43Well just a slight problem
01:05:45Gassy mate you know
01:05:47Gassy
01:05:49Gassy
01:06:11Now then
01:06:13What better way to top off a wholesome meal
01:06:15A gourmet meal
01:06:17Than with a little dessert
01:06:19A little something to
01:06:21Soothe the sweet tooth if you will
01:06:23And this apparently is the dessert
01:06:25Butch look what is this
01:06:27Oh mate all day
01:06:29Luke and I have been baking this
01:06:31All day it's been in our ovens

01:07:15See in there
01:07:17There's all the walnuts
01:07:19And see here me and Gene
01:07:21See and here is the surprise
01:07:23Surprise
01:07:29Lovely to your mother
01:07:31How much of that hit in the furnace
01:07:33Yummy
01:07:35Oh yeah mate
01:07:37I was just standing here in the bushwhacker's kitchen
01:07:39The gourmet meal
01:07:41And of course ruminating about the virtues of it all
01:07:43That dessert by the way a little rich
01:07:45But hey guys one thing occurred to me
01:07:47Bushwhacker's looking butch
01:07:49What about the main course I think we forgot about the main course
01:07:51The main course me Gene
01:07:53Don't you know
01:07:55You must know what the main course is mate
01:07:57Remember that time we were out in the desert
01:07:59And you came and joined us
01:08:01And we had that specialty of ours
01:08:03All together like
01:08:05Do you remember mate
01:08:07Yeah the bushwhacker buzzard
01:08:19Doesn't he look so bloody handsome
01:08:23I think that bushwhacker buzzard is fantastic
01:08:25Oh yeah
01:08:27Oh you look great
01:08:33I love that bloody buzzard mate

01:09:21And I sure wish he'd come by now to give us a lift
01:09:23Don't worry about the boss man
01:09:25I know the precise geographical location
01:09:27Oh yeah you've been doing an exceptional job so far
01:09:29I shall pretend to ignore that remark
01:09:31As I was saying
01:09:33I know the precise geographical location
01:09:35Of an excellent motor repairman
01:09:37As a matter of fact
01:09:39I don't know about the van and all but I've got a very important meeting
01:09:41Look at me I'm a mess
01:09:43You are a mess
01:09:45You're a frightful mess
01:09:47At least I still have the super tape with me
01:09:49I think you ought to buy another jacket or something
01:09:51The shortcut here
01:09:53Come along
01:09:55Do you have to use my jacket for a grease rag
01:09:57Put it on come along follow me
01:09:59Right now let's take an up close look at the big boss man
01:10:01I don't know about this Lord Alfred Hayes
01:10:03Don't worry
01:10:05Place your trust and your faith in me completely
01:10:07Oh great I've done so well so far
01:10:11Ever since I've came to the World Wrestling Federation
01:10:13I've done one thing
01:10:15And that's stand tall and proud
01:10:17For law order and justice
01:10:19In the World Wrestling Federation
01:10:21That's what I stand for
01:10:23That's what the uniform stands for
01:10:25I'm an instrument of justice
01:10:27Bottom line
01:10:29Well now Coliseum Video
01:10:31Wants to show you
01:10:33Why I'm the law and order
01:10:35In the World Wrestling Federation
01:10:37By showing you three of my toughest matches
01:10:39Against cunning and criminal minds
01:10:41In the World Wrestling Federation
01:10:43Earthquake
01:10:45A giant of a man
01:10:47Barbarian
01:10:49Bobby Hedon's number one henchman
01:10:51And yes Bobby Hedon himself
01:10:53A cunning and criminal mind
01:10:55All three found out
01:10:57Why the big boss man
01:10:59Is the law order and justice
01:11:01In the World Wrestling Federation
01:11:03And Coliseum Video is bringing it to you
01:11:09Here comes the big boss man
01:11:15But here comes another
01:11:17Powerful individual
01:11:19The big boss man
01:11:23Makes his intention clear
01:11:25As he points to the earthquake
01:11:27He's ready to press charges
01:11:29He certainly is
01:11:31A more spelt boss man
01:11:33Than we've seen before
01:11:35He still carries a tremendous poundage
01:11:37Of weight on that huge frame
01:11:39But this is an unusual situation
01:11:41For the big boss man
01:11:43He's in the ring with somebody
01:11:45Who weighs at least 100 pounds
01:11:47More than he
01:11:51450 pounds to be exact
01:11:53When you consider the earthquake
01:11:57And he has used that
01:11:59Great mass to destroy
01:12:01A number of opponents
01:12:03I'm sure that's exactly what he has in mind
01:12:05For the former prison guard
01:12:07A little hesitant though
01:12:09He's not too anxious to get into the ring
01:12:11He is formulating something
01:12:13In his mind. Surely he and Jimmy Hart
01:12:15Have gone over their game plan
01:12:17Long, long ago
01:12:19I know that Hart always requests
01:12:21Miles of footage on his
01:12:23Adversaries
01:12:25And I'm sure he's watched every one of
01:12:27Boss man's match that there is
01:12:29On celluloid
01:12:33Now begins to
01:12:35Stalk the big boss man
01:12:37What do you think he has in store
01:12:39For the big boss man
01:12:41What sort of game plan do you think here, Sean?
01:12:43You're a good strategist
01:12:45I would say that he has one plan, Lord Alfred Hayes
01:12:47Put the big boss man on his back
01:12:49Give him the earthquake
01:12:51Or several earthquakes
01:12:53Squash it, like a bug
01:12:55But that may sound simple
01:12:57But it's not easy to do
01:12:59When you have Cobb County's finest
01:13:01In the squared circle
01:13:03No, you're absolutely right
01:13:05And he seems to be taking his time
01:13:07Now, a psychological
01:13:09Ploy by Hart
01:13:11And of course the earthquake
01:13:13They've cooked up between them
01:13:15Just keep the boss man in the ring
01:13:17And psych him out
01:13:19Oh, your lordship
01:13:21I don't know if you happen to notice
01:13:23There's something missing from this encounter
01:13:25There is? Yes, indeed
01:13:27Let me think, let me try
01:13:29Give me a clue
01:13:31You often hear it
01:13:33At ringside
01:13:35Somebody's shouting out
01:13:37My name
01:13:39No, he's talking about all the young navies
01:13:41Oh
01:13:43Jimmy Hart does not have his megaphone
01:13:45Ah, gosh, so he does not
01:13:47You're absolutely right
01:13:49Perhaps they picked it up at customs
01:13:51When he was trying to get into Canada
01:13:53You can only hope that
01:13:55That pesky instrument
01:13:57That he keeps blaring through
01:13:59Thank goodness
01:14:01We're so close here to the ring
01:14:03Oh
01:14:05Well, one unfortunate thing is
01:14:07They couldn't take away his voice
01:14:09And we'll be hearing that throughout the encounter
01:14:11Shrill voice
01:14:13Urging the earthquake on
01:14:15Earthquake showing some power there
01:14:17Sends the big boss man into the corner
01:14:19Ha ha ha
01:14:21Ha ha ha
01:14:23Ha ha
01:14:25He's not exactly ready to join the WBF
01:14:27Is he? No, I don't think so
01:14:29Ha ha ha
01:14:31Amount of muscle on that
01:14:33Body, but it's not well cut
01:14:35No, he's not
01:14:37Ready to do any bodybuilding
01:14:39There's no symmetry there
01:14:43Mind you, he is a tremendous power lifter
01:14:45I'm told, I haven't seen him
01:14:47Oh, yes, just look
01:14:49At those legs
01:14:51Probably isn't enough weight in the gym
01:14:53For him to squat
01:14:57Big boss man
01:14:59Building, locks in a headlock
01:15:03I think they call that
01:15:05Giving him the business
01:15:07He was giving him something there
01:15:09And I think it was just a little bit illegal
01:15:11Because he was certainly trying to shield that from the referee
01:15:13Earthquake trying to grab a handle
01:15:15On the back of the head of the big boss man
01:15:17But there's no hair back there
01:15:19Nothing to hold on to
01:15:21No, he staggered the earthquake
01:15:23Once again, he's thinking this one out
01:15:25That's most unusual
01:15:27No, there isn't much hair
01:15:29Usually, he goes after an opponent
01:15:31With reckless abandon
01:15:33A little bit of a shot there
01:15:35Big boss man showing
01:15:37Some newly found quickness
01:15:39A little lighter on his feet
01:15:41Bouncing around
01:15:43Like a prize fighter
01:15:49Not exactly the shuffle of Muhammad Ali
01:15:51But moving quite well on the squared circle
01:15:53No, he doesn't float like a butterfly
01:15:55Does he?
01:15:57Jimmy Hart up on the apron now
01:15:59A little strategy session
01:16:01Yes
01:16:03A little bit late for that, Jimmy
01:16:05I don't suppose he was talking about what they're going to get for dinner later
01:16:07No
01:16:09Something more involvable
01:16:11I would imagine definitely a lot more involved
01:16:13He's probably telling him to resort to some illegal tactics of his own
01:16:17Jimmy Hart is well-versed in ruthless tactics
01:16:21Now the earthquake attempting to trap the big boss man
01:16:23In the corner
01:16:25And apparently that strategy has worked
01:16:29Hart must have given him good information
01:16:31Look at the way he just picks up 350 pounds
01:16:35With such ease
01:16:37Boss man down for the first time
01:16:41And rolls out of the way
01:16:45A massive elbow
01:16:47Jimmy Hart's dented a little too close to the big boss man
01:16:49Why can he run?
01:16:51Have you seen Hart move that quick before?
01:16:53You call that running for your life
01:16:55Yes
01:16:57Amazing how much speed you can come up with in that situation
01:16:59Yes
01:17:01Definitely
01:17:03Big boss man trying to get Earthquake out of the corner
01:17:05Only comes out when he's ready
01:17:07That move by the big boss man
01:17:11That's an old school yard trick
01:17:13And if it works, why not?
01:17:15Well he got the Earthquake down on the canvas with that shot
01:17:19A thumb to the throat
01:17:21And that is a damaging blow
01:17:23And a clothesline
01:17:25Takes down the former prison guard once again
01:17:29Sounding boos here in Toronto
01:17:39You can't get away with that right in front of the referee
01:17:41But you can if you have Jimmy Hart at ringside to distract him though
01:17:43Yes, absolutely
01:17:49Amazing how innocent Earthquake would look when the referee turns back too
01:17:51Yes
01:17:53Our Coliseum video cameraman
01:17:55Taking us right into that action there
01:17:57So that we could see exactly what was taking place
01:17:59I believe you know all these Coliseum video cameramen, Sean
01:18:01I know several of them, yes
01:18:03I was going to say it's too bad that one of the Coliseum video cameramen wasn't the referee
01:18:05Because then he wouldn't miss anything
01:18:07No, he wouldn't
01:18:09No
01:18:11No
01:18:13No
01:18:15No
01:18:17No
01:18:19No
01:18:21No
01:18:23No
01:18:25No
01:18:27No
01:18:29Oh no
01:18:33Three
01:18:35Four
01:18:37Five
01:18:39Six
01:18:41Seven
01:18:43Eight
01:18:45Nine
01:18:47Ten
01:18:49Eleven
01:18:51Twelve
01:18:53Thirteen
01:18:55Fourteen
01:18:57Oh, my word, look at the look on the face of the boss man.
01:19:01Oh, oh.
01:19:04Lack of oxygen and incredible pain.
01:19:08I think that was a combination of.
01:19:10Who is that on number four camera there, Sean,
01:19:12taking us right inside the ring?
01:19:14That's Tony DiPasquale.
01:19:17Very gifted.
01:19:18He's a nice Irish name.
01:19:20Quite.
01:19:23Big right for the big boss man.
01:19:26Oh, right to the chin.
01:19:31Answers back, down goes the boss man again.
01:19:35And this could be all over for the boss man.
01:19:37Here comes the huge splash.
01:19:38No, it's an elbow drop.
01:19:40Oh, golly.
01:19:44I think he's finished, Sean.
01:19:45This time the big boss man could not roll out of the way
01:19:48and took that entire blow.
01:19:53Whoa.
01:19:55He doesn't want to pin him.
01:19:56He wants to crush him.
01:20:00Question there whether or not the big boss man could have
01:20:03gotten his shoulders off the canvas.
01:20:05The earthquake merely put a foot on his chest,
01:20:08then decided not to go for the full three counts.
01:20:11No back suplex, surely.
01:20:13No.
01:20:14Atomic drop.
01:20:18Boss man in terrible, terrible trouble here.
01:20:26Just awful trouble and the earthquake is not going to be
01:20:30content with just a one, two, three.
01:20:32He wants to put him right out of wrestling.
01:20:37I think we've realized the real intent of the earthquake.
01:20:39He's not solely for a victory.
01:20:45He wants to enter the career of the former prison guard.
01:20:48Right here in Toronto, he wants to put a finish to the man
01:20:53from Macon County.
01:20:56Cobb County, is it?
01:20:58It's close.
01:20:59Yes.
01:21:05450 pounds in the back of the big boss man.
01:21:09Stepped on his head before.
01:21:11Yes.
01:21:13And on his chest.
01:21:15Boss man off the ropes.
01:21:17Brings up the legs slowly.
01:21:20And suckers the earthquake in.
01:21:22Nails him in the back of the head.
01:21:25We've seen him use that move before.
01:21:26I'm surprised the earthquake fell for it.
01:21:28And he did fall.
01:21:30He really did.
01:21:31I believe the earthquake thought he mastered the boss man
01:21:34completely, but a great, great comeback here.
01:21:39He's picked up his courage and his strength with it.
01:21:42Two big chops.
01:21:43Will three do it?
01:21:46Earthquake tied up in the top rope.
01:21:49He's trapped.
01:21:52Like a fly in a web.
01:21:54Well, a big fly.
01:21:57Oh, gosh.
01:22:01Right body tackle, Jimmy Hart up on the apron.
01:22:03Should have stayed where he was.
01:22:05Oh, he's knocked the little daylights out of the mouths of the south.
01:22:08He's closed that mouth for sure.
01:22:10Look out!
01:22:11Earthquake free now.
01:22:12Dino Bravo has come to ringside.
01:22:17He's back in the locker room area.
01:22:19So he was taking a shower, just put his pants on
01:22:22and came running out.
01:22:25And he distracts the big boss man enough for the Earthquake
01:22:28to capitalize on it.
01:22:30Here is your winner, Earthquake.
01:22:37What a distraction.
01:22:38We should have had a disqualification or something.
01:22:40Well, I don't know.
01:22:40He didn't actually interfere.
01:22:42But his presence certainly was a catalyst for a victory here
01:22:46by the Earthquake, who's now going to begin.
01:22:48No.
01:22:49And now Tugboat comes in to clear the ring.
01:22:52You saw what Dino Bravo was up to and followed him.
01:22:57But he was not at ringside in time
01:22:59to help out the big boss man as far as the decision
01:23:03went in this encounter.
01:23:05If Tugboat had been just a couple of moments
01:23:09earlier in his arrival here, it might
01:23:12have changed the whole complex of this match.
01:23:15And we might have been seeing the hand of the boss man
01:23:18being raised and not that of the Earthquake.
01:23:27The following contest is scheduled for one fall.
01:23:29This is the match I have been waiting to see.
01:23:32Well, I expect you have.
01:23:33But I really haven't.
01:23:34Because I do think it's a shame when Bobby Heelum has
01:23:38been forced into this match against the man of caliber
01:23:41of the big boss man.
01:23:42I mean, really.
01:23:44I'm surprised he even showed up.
01:23:46Well, he is not lacking in courage, that's for sure.
01:23:49Wait a minute, he has something to say.
01:23:51I have a very important announcement to make.
01:23:55Oh, what is this?
01:23:57What has transpired between myself and the big boss man
01:24:02is totally a mistake on my part.
01:24:04There you are.
01:24:05You see it?
01:24:06I at this time would like to sincerely
01:24:08apologize to the big boss man and to his lovely mother.
01:24:13You're buying this?
01:24:14I'm sincerely sorry.
01:24:15Well, yes.
01:24:16He's saying this in front of a lot of people here.
01:24:19And I'd like to apologize to every mother here
01:24:22and everyone that has a mother.
01:24:24That's really eating humble pie.
01:24:25You know how much they mean you.
01:24:26Now, I have sent a dozen roses to the big boss man's mom,
01:24:31which she will receive tomorrow.
01:24:34I think it's a little late.
01:24:35And right here, I have a WWF wrestling buddy of Hulk Hogan.
01:24:40And the boss man, as you know, is on the Hulkamaniacs
01:24:43at Survivor Series Thursday night.
01:24:46I would like to give him this gift right
01:24:48now to his lovely mother.
01:24:50And let's forget the match, cancel the match.
01:24:53We can work things out.
01:24:55You'll never take a chance.
01:24:57Well, I think that is Bobby the Brain Heenan's answer.
01:25:00I'm sorry.
01:25:01The answer is music of the big boss man in the cold,
01:25:05steely stare of the big boss man as he makes his way to the ring.
01:25:10I don't think he's ready to accept his apology.
01:25:13They were really honest from a heart of apologies.
01:25:16And if I were the big boss man, I would show people
01:25:19how forgiving I was.
01:25:20Oh, wait a minute, Lord Alfred.
01:25:21It's been weeks now.
01:25:22The big boss man has heard the derogatory comments
01:25:28he's made about his mother.
01:25:29To Cobb County, Georgia.
01:25:31She'll get him tomorrow.
01:25:33Whatever I said about your mother was off color.
01:25:36It was totally uncalled for.
01:25:39I'm sorry.
01:25:40Let's forget the match and everything.
01:25:43How about it?
01:25:44Well, maybe he will.
01:25:45Maybe the boss man will apologize also for his forcing
01:25:50Heenan into this match, shake hands,
01:25:52and go back to the dressing room.
01:25:53That's the best thing that could happen.
01:25:55No, no, no.
01:25:58I think the former prison guard is in a very forgiving mood.
01:26:03And he is showing his displeasure.
01:26:05Oh, what a shot by Heenan.
01:26:09Oh, he was ready.
01:26:09He was prepared for the big boss man.
01:26:11Oh, you still believe in those apologies now, huh?
01:26:15Nightstick to the midsection.
01:26:18Over the back.
01:26:19And you tell me that isn't taken limited.
01:26:21And it's payback time.
01:26:22That is not payback time.
01:26:23That is a brutal, violent attack on the person of Heenan.
01:26:26Heenan came here to apologize.
01:26:28Why did he attack the big boss man with the microphone?
01:26:33He was provoked.
01:26:33Boss man was trying to suffocate him.
01:26:35Put a Hulkster down his face.
01:26:38Now he's going to have to pay the price.
01:26:43There's an easy cover.
01:26:46I think he whispered to Bobby Heenan,
01:26:48you move and you're in even worse trouble.
01:26:51I think he did.
01:26:51But look at this.
01:26:52Here's a little salvation on the way.
01:26:55Haku.
01:26:57Haku obviously waiting in the locker room
01:26:59for an opportunity to come out and ambush
01:27:02the former prison guard.
01:27:04But I think it was a big mistake.
01:27:06It looks as if it was a big mistake.
01:27:08And look what he's doing.
01:27:09He's handcuffing Haku to Heenan.
01:27:13And what do we have here?
01:27:15Ha ha.
01:27:17Ha ha.
01:27:18Look.
01:27:20Bobby Heenan just hanging on for protection.
01:27:22And it's not helping Haku any.
01:27:23Oh, gosh, look at this.
01:27:25But Mr. Perfect, then, he's equal to the task.
01:27:29And I don't think Boss Man will be able to deal
01:27:31so readily with him.
01:27:33Boss Man has a round up on his head.
01:27:35And Mr. Perfect really punishes the Big Boss Man.
01:27:40But after Haku and Bobby Heenan retreat,
01:27:43we're not seeing what has happened to the Flawless One
01:27:45now.
01:27:47And a Big Boss Man right sends Mr. Perfect
01:27:50right over the top rope.
01:27:52And Lord Alfred Harris, I think we have just
01:27:54witnessed an example of cop-catting justice.
01:27:59Well, you could be absolutely right there.
01:28:00You know, I wasn't at all surprised by the easy victory
01:28:03that the Big Boss Man had over Heenan.
01:28:06What I am surprised at is the way
01:28:08he dealt with Haku, firstly, and then with Mr. Perfect.
01:28:12I mean, he really gave those two some tremendously punishing
01:28:16shots, and they had nothing with which to come back at him.
01:28:20Well, this match could not have ended better
01:28:21for the superstar from Cobb County, Georgia,
01:28:25as he sent a clear message to the Heenan family.
01:28:28Don't mess with the Big Boss Man.
01:28:31Great match-up.
01:28:39And you can tell from the reception,
01:28:41he's a big favorite here in Toronto.
01:28:43I knew you would say something like that about him.
01:28:45You've looked at his record the same as everybody else.
01:28:48It seems that this man really gets beaten inside the ring.
01:28:52And of course, you've latched onto that trail, haven't you?
01:28:56Well, Lord Alfred Hayes, he certainly
01:28:58stands for law and order and justice in the World Wrestling
01:29:01Federation.
01:29:03Come on, I think that's illegal, what
01:29:04he does with those handcuffs and that nightstick.
01:29:08How can he come in armed like that?
01:29:09Like any law enforcement officer,
01:29:11sometimes you have to use force.
01:29:14Well, I hope he has to use force on you a few times.
01:29:16You may change your mind about him then very quickly.
01:29:19I don't intend on breaking the law.
01:29:21Oh, I see.
01:29:22Or to give him any reason to want
01:29:24to arrest me for anything.
01:29:27Well, I hope not.
01:29:28I should think that you would be the last person
01:29:32to upset him or him.
01:29:35I have had my brushes with the law, though.
01:29:37Yes, I bet you have, too.
01:29:39The way you drive that automobile about.
01:29:43What do you mean by that, Lord Alfred Hayes?
01:29:44I was talking about parking tickets.
01:29:46Oh, I thought.
01:29:48Parking tickets at 100 mile an hour.
01:29:50Where were you parking?
01:29:52It was a moving violation, I guess.
01:29:57Big Boss Man anxious to get this encounter underway.
01:30:00I can't imagine anyone who would be anxious to go into combat
01:30:05with the Barbarian.
01:30:06No, you can almost feel the excitement
01:30:09here at the Maple Leaf Gardens.
01:30:11They're sitting here very patiently waiting
01:30:13for something to happen.
01:30:15My word, fireworks will explode when these two clash.
01:30:20I'd say that's a very close prediction, Lord Alfred Hayes.
01:30:23Yes.
01:30:25Look at the physique on the Barbarian.
01:30:27Massive neck and shoulders.
01:30:31Tremendous upper body strength that man has.
01:30:34Great power.
01:30:35The trapezius so well-developed.
01:30:40However, Big Boss Man showing how well-developed
01:30:43his fists are.
01:30:44And a boot to the jaw.
01:30:47Barbarian just hangs on long enough
01:30:49to be knocked over by a clothesline
01:30:51and then steps out of the ring.
01:30:53A little stepping rope.
01:30:55Yes, what a tremendous series of moves
01:30:57that was by the Boss Man.
01:30:58Absolutely stunned.
01:31:00Barbarian knocked him clean out of the ring.
01:31:02And now the Barbarian is trying to recover his thoughts,
01:31:05regroup, do anything.
01:31:08Stay outside.
01:31:10Take a little rest and respite there.
01:31:11And then maybe come back for another battle.
01:31:14He's attempting to recover a few teeth
01:31:16after taking that boot right to the jaw.
01:31:20Big Boss Man nearly took his head off.
01:31:23In fact, there was so much power there by the Boss Man,
01:31:26I wonder if it damaged the bottom of his boots.
01:31:28No.
01:31:30This boy's not too worried about that.
01:31:32No.
01:31:34Wants to inflict more damage on the Barbarian.
01:31:38The Barbarian looks as if he's been carved in granite.
01:31:41He looks so rough.
01:31:45And the Barbarian,
01:31:46clear to see that he was enraged at what took place
01:31:51previous to him getting back in the ring.
01:31:54He plans to make the Big Boss Man pay for it.
01:31:56Tries a hip toss.
01:32:00Boss Man ducks out of the way of a roundhouse.
01:32:05Comes back with a clothesline of his own.
01:32:09Sean, the Boss Man's wrestling skills
01:32:11have never been questionable at all.
01:32:13But tonight he looks particularly sharp.
01:32:17Well, Archie, we are used to seeing the Barbarian
01:32:20in the squared circle just toying with an opponent.
01:32:23Yes.
01:32:24Until he tires of the game and then just destroys him.
01:32:26He does indeed.
01:32:27It's very interesting to see him struggling, shall we say.
01:32:31Well, I like that word interesting.
01:32:33Yes, it is interesting to see him struggling.
01:32:35He usually dictates the tempo.
01:32:38He dictates how the bout goes all from his own advantage
01:32:43of really crushing his foes.
01:32:44But he's having no success at all here
01:32:46against the Big Boss Man.
01:32:50Well, here's a tough point, Lord Alfred Hayes.
01:32:52Do you think that in some ways
01:32:54it's a disadvantage to the Barbarian
01:32:56to find so little competition
01:32:58in the World Wrestling Federation?
01:32:59Because when he does actually go up
01:33:01against a very talented superstar,
01:33:06he's not used to having to go toe-to-toe with him.
01:33:09That's a great point, a very valid point you make there.
01:33:12But a lot of that fault surely must lie with his manager,
01:33:15Bobby the Brain Heenan,
01:33:16for hand-picking the matches for him.
01:33:18How did he get him into this one?
01:33:20And why isn't he here with him?
01:33:23Well, the Brain could answer that.
01:33:26But the Barbarian not finding too many answers
01:33:28in this encounter.
01:33:29And that's probably why Heenan's not here.
01:33:31He didn't want to incur the wrath of the Barbarian
01:33:34for picking such a tremendous opponent for him.
01:33:37Well, you know, the Brain has had a few problems
01:33:39with the Big Boss Man.
01:33:42For his own safety's sake,
01:33:44he's suddenly had another appointment.
01:33:46Absolutely.
01:33:47Oh, wow!
01:33:48The agility of the Boss Man
01:33:50went completely against him there.
01:33:52He seems to be hooked, Shawn.
01:33:53No, he's got that huge body back again.
01:33:57Right over the top of the Barbarian
01:33:59as the massive superstar ducks
01:34:01as he nearly was impaled on the ring post.
01:34:06Barbarian's so disciplined with his moves.
01:34:09He takes his time, watches his man,
01:34:11picks out everything,
01:34:12and delivers it with utmost effect.
01:34:15Now the Big Boss Man on the arena floor.
01:34:18And we didn't actually see it,
01:34:20but it looks as though he may have hit his head
01:34:21on the guardrail there, Lord Alfred Hayes.
01:34:25Well, he was around the other side of the ring for us.
01:34:27Or even the steps.
01:34:28Could have been the steps.
01:34:29Could have been either of those.
01:34:30Both steel hazards there outside the ring.
01:34:34He certainly didn't expect to encounter them with his head.
01:34:36No.
01:34:40Came out of there with such force, he didn't have his time.
01:34:41Oh, there you are. The Boss Man came to help him.
01:34:43Oh, I thought he was going to help him back in the ring.
01:34:46Eventually, I'm sure that's what he has in mind,
01:34:48but he has to do it the hard way.
01:34:51Not what he worked to do before then.
01:34:54Good view of that
01:34:57as the Big Boss Man was split in half.
01:35:00He was rammed into the ring post by the Barbarian.
01:35:04There's Tony DiPasquale with his number four camera
01:35:07giving us a real close-up of the Big Boss Man here.
01:35:12Well-defined cameraman, Coliseum Video,
01:35:15catching all the action.
01:35:17We are seeing a lot of it in this bout.
01:35:20Oh, my word.
01:35:21Devastating action.
01:35:22Barbarian is so cruel, so brutal with his moves,
01:35:26and yet he's so icy cold inside.
01:35:29He must have a black, black cold heart
01:35:32inside that huge, massive torso.
01:35:36Got a good shot there of the Boss Man.
01:35:39And so he was in so much pain,
01:35:41he was just trying to catch his breath.
01:35:43Oh, yes.
01:35:44Look at that once again.
01:35:46The Barbarian just takes his time.
01:35:49Really beginning to enjoy himself.
01:35:52Bit of a weak cover.
01:35:53Don't think he even wanted this to be over yet.
01:35:56No, I think you've got the right to phraseology there, Sean.
01:35:59He is enjoying himself.
01:36:00That is his sadistic way of pleasure.
01:36:07It may be sheer happiness for him,
01:36:09but this is absolute misery for the Boss Man.
01:36:15Barbarian keeps up his torture.
01:36:19That's basically what it comes down to.
01:36:23Sean, one gets the feeling...
01:36:24Yes, taking time out there, a little hot-dogging.
01:36:27One gets the feeling that Barbarian
01:36:29could really take this match any time he chose.
01:36:33However, look at Boss Man.
01:36:35He is showing signs of energy.
01:36:38Do you think he has enough left in him
01:36:40to last this storm?
01:36:42After suffering that glory
01:36:45of ax handles to the pack.
01:36:48I don't know enough of this.
01:36:52Comes out of the corner, right into the arms.
01:36:54And now the Barbarian is locked in his bear hug
01:36:57as Boss Man goes from one form of torture to another.
01:37:03Really having his problems at this point.
01:37:08He's got that nicely locked in.
01:37:11A little bit low around the back,
01:37:13wouldn't you say, Sean?
01:37:14But even so, very effective.
01:37:16Also remember, your Lordship,
01:37:18he has taken a great deal of punishment in that area.
01:37:22Well, the Barbarian perhaps
01:37:23is trying to capitalize on that.
01:37:25Weaken him even more.
01:37:27You can see him screaming in pain.
01:37:30So obviously that area is very sensitive
01:37:33for the former prison guard.
01:37:36The Barbarian did have his head
01:37:37well tucked in a moment ago,
01:37:39although now he's brought his head up.
01:37:41He could be vulnerable, I don't know.
01:37:43Boss Man, weak.
01:37:46So he's nearly out.
01:37:48Yes, not being able to offer a lot of resistance.
01:37:51There goes one.
01:37:55There's two just falling limp.
01:37:58One more and it's all over.
01:38:01Doesn't even come down.
01:38:04Great courage being shown by the Boss Man.
01:38:06And he's struggling to find
01:38:09that extra reserve of energy
01:38:11that we know he carries somewhere.
01:38:13What is that, Sean?
01:38:15Taking a bite out of crime.
01:38:17Or the Barbarian, rather.
01:38:21And that is enough to break him free.
01:38:25He had to do something.
01:38:26It was down to the point where
01:38:30either he resorted to the same tactics
01:38:32the Barbarian is capable of,
01:38:34or he would have lost this match.
01:38:36That was certainly a desperate move,
01:38:38but it hasn't really given him
01:38:40too much respite from this
01:38:42savage and brutal attack
01:38:44by the Barbarian.
01:38:46Barbarian placing him for
01:38:48a sort of a situation move here.
01:38:50Trying to get him geographically
01:38:52located in the ring where he wants him.
01:38:54No!
01:38:56Now going up to the second rope.
01:39:00And the Big Boss Man is helpless.
01:39:04Last second sees the Barbarian coming
01:39:06as he tries to walk the rope.
01:39:09And the Barbarian misses with that
01:39:11dangerous elbow.
01:39:13And for once the discipline and patience
01:39:15that Barbarian has shown all through
01:39:17this match backfired.
01:39:19He took a little too long that time
01:39:21and he gave the Big Boss Man a chance
01:39:23to very, very quickly move out of the way.
01:39:25And one can only hope now
01:39:27that the Boss Man has enough courage
01:39:29and strength to go with it
01:39:31to mount a comeback.
01:39:33Boss Man.
01:39:37Obviously worn in this encounter,
01:39:39but he continues to fight.
01:39:41Saving his energy as much as possible
01:39:43to the last second
01:39:45and igniting with blows.
01:39:49And they're now having their effect
01:39:51on the Barbarian.
01:39:53Good uppercuts.
01:39:55Every one of those blows right to the jaw!
01:39:57That delayed kick
01:39:59picks up the leg
01:40:03and the Barbarian falls prey to it.
01:40:07Barbarian went down flat on his face!
01:40:09Rolls him over!
01:40:11Does not hook the leg
01:40:13and the Barbarian able to break free
01:40:15rather easily.
01:40:17That was awfully close.
01:40:19A really close call for the Barbarian
01:40:21and once again he's been
01:40:23trapped, baited
01:40:25and caught by the Big Boss Man.
01:40:27This time he breaks off the leg.
01:40:31The last second the Barbarian
01:40:33gets a hand on the rope.
01:40:35And I really thought the referee had counted to three
01:40:37there. That really is a dangerous thing to do
01:40:40when you're in that situation.
01:40:42You should really lift your shoulder
01:40:44not just put your hand on the rope.
01:40:46And the Barbarian really
01:40:48waited to the last second.
01:40:50Rolls up the Barbarian but he uses
01:40:52the leverage and brings
01:40:54the Big Boss Man over.
01:40:56Great move by the Boss Man to escape that.
01:40:58He was certainly trapped there.
01:41:00Barbarian had it but not enough
01:41:02power to hold that huge Boss Man.
01:41:06And now they fight to see who can bring
01:41:08one up for the piledriver but the Big Boss Man
01:41:10just comes over with a sunset flip.
01:41:17The Barbarian, nonchalant, thought he had
01:41:19the pin. The Big Boss Man
01:41:21just brought up his legs
01:41:23and slammed the shoulders of the canvas.
01:41:25The Big Boss Man!
01:41:27What an incredible encounter
01:41:29this has been. Wait a minute, Haku
01:41:31has come into the ring.
01:41:33And he's going after the Big Boss Man.
01:41:35A little double team action
01:41:37by two members of the Heenan family.
01:41:39That's getting revenge
01:41:41for the Brain as well.
01:41:43Double clothesline.
01:41:45Big Boss Man
01:41:47in big trouble.
01:41:49This one is already
01:41:51in the history books, Lord Alfred Hayes.
01:41:53Former prison guard
01:41:55registers a win over the Barbarian.
01:41:57That is not helping him right now.
01:41:59It certainly isn't, Sean.
01:42:01I'm sure that the Barbarian
01:42:03I'm sure that the Barbarian
01:42:05was humiliated by losing that
01:42:07tremendous bout at the last moment.
01:42:09There were times, of course, when
01:42:11I believe he could have sown that matchup
01:42:13in his favor, but he adopted
01:42:15a very, very cavalier attitude.
01:42:17A very nonchalant way of dealing
01:42:19with the Big Boss Man, and it certainly
01:42:21didn't pay off.
01:42:23The kick to the side of the head lays out
01:42:25the former prison guard, and Haku
01:42:27and the Barbarian very pleased
01:42:29with what they have just done.
01:42:31I imagine that President Jack Tunney
01:42:33might have a few things to say about their actions.
01:42:35Well, this is his
01:42:37hometown, Sean. I'm sure he's here somewhere.
01:42:39The former
01:42:41prison guard, now just
01:42:43coming to
01:42:45and not liking the reality
01:42:47of what just took place.
01:42:49Let us see exactly what did take place.
01:42:51Now watch this very closely. Here you see
01:42:53the Barbarian go for the perfect fall.
01:42:55He's got him. Now he's so sure
01:42:57that he takes time out to pose.
01:43:00Unfortunately for him, he's trapped
01:43:02by the Big Boss Man beautifully there.
01:43:04A great one, two, three by the Big Boss Man
01:43:06for a great victory. Barbarian
01:43:08must feel terrible, and Haku
01:43:10came in to help him in his misery.
01:43:12However, look at him, the Big Boss Man.
01:43:16I can't believe I'm doing this.
01:43:18I've got to get to that meeting.
01:43:22Where are we?
01:43:24Sean, I must say, I
01:43:26admire your spirit of adventure,
01:43:28but why aren't you using the footbridge
01:43:30like any nature lover would do?
01:43:32Obviously, you have no feeling
01:43:34for the call of the wild.
01:43:36Footbridge? You didn't tell me about any footbridge.
01:43:38Right now,
01:43:40let's go to our feature matchup involving the ultimate
01:43:42warrior against Sergeant Slaughter.
01:43:44Your Lordship, wait up. Come along, Sean.
01:43:46I have no time. We don't have all day.
01:43:48It's a little tough to tackle these woods
01:43:50in a pair of loafers, you know.
01:43:52Atten-hut!
01:43:54Let's you, Alfred.
01:43:56Just have attention. Sit down.
01:43:58Just have attention.
01:44:00Scheduled for one fall.
01:44:04Coming down the aisle
01:44:06with General Hudson.
01:44:08Sergeant Slaughter.
01:44:10He aspires to that championship, obviously.
01:44:12Here is the challenger,
01:44:14Sergeant
01:44:16Slaughter!
01:44:18Slaughter!
01:44:20Not only a cold
01:44:22and calculating look
01:44:24on the face of the Demented Drill Sergeant,
01:44:26but a confident one.
01:44:30Yes, he always comes into the ring
01:44:32oozing confidence
01:44:34and certainly by his past record
01:44:36he has the skill and ability
01:44:38to back that confidence up.
01:44:40It is amazing to me that he is
01:44:42feeling
01:44:44so confident stepping into the ring
01:44:46He is one of the most awesome superstars
01:44:48of the World Wrestling Federation
01:44:50for the WWF Championship
01:44:52The Ultimate Warrior.
01:44:58And his opponent
01:45:00This crowd lights up with the announcement
01:45:04The World Wrestling Federation
01:45:06Champion
01:45:08The Ultimate
01:45:10Warrior
01:45:12And it is obvious just how anxious
01:45:15the Warrior is to get this battle underway
01:45:17with Sergeant Slaughter
01:45:19I would say
01:45:21judging by the reception
01:45:23he has got here
01:45:25so has everybody else.
01:45:27They want to see him really punish
01:45:29the Drill Sergeant
01:45:35What a great matchup
01:45:37This is Lord Alfred Hayes
01:45:39a Coliseum Video exclusive
01:45:41They don't get any bigger than this
01:45:43This is for the title
01:45:45They certainly don't
01:45:47We have our great cameraman here
01:45:49covering this crowd
01:45:51giving us a close up of what they look like
01:45:53and now takes us right inside the ring
01:45:55with the Ultimate Warrior
01:45:57You couldn't wish for anything better
01:45:59Nice view of the championship belt
01:46:01Yes
01:46:03But she has no intention of giving up
01:46:05in this encounter
01:46:07But this is for
01:46:09much more than
01:46:11gold
01:46:13Lord Alfred Hayes
01:46:15A lot of bad feelings between these two superstars
01:46:17There is indeed
01:46:19and we are sure to see that come into play
01:46:21here
01:46:23Look at that look of absolute determination
01:46:25and resolution on the face
01:46:27of the Ultimate Warrior
01:46:29And that is what the Sergeant has to turn around
01:46:31and look into in a moment
01:46:33those steely eyes
01:46:35of the champion
01:46:37Despite the fact this is for the championship
01:46:39Lord Alfred Hayes, I don't think it would matter
01:46:41as far as the intensity of this encounter
01:46:43whether or not the title
01:46:45was on the line
01:46:47As they go to lock up
01:46:49Sergeant Slaughter immediately establishes
01:46:51how he plans to
01:46:53handle this bout
01:46:55using questionable tactics
01:46:59Kicking away at the midsection
01:47:01of the Warrior
01:47:03The Sergeant
01:47:05obviously means to rough up the Warrior
01:47:07from the start here
01:47:09His game plan is to absolutely destroy the Warrior
01:47:11and then of course take that
01:47:13championship title
01:47:15But the Warrior answers back
01:47:19And now pummeling
01:47:21Sergeant Slaughter
01:47:23sent over the top rope and he's caught
01:47:25on the bottom one
01:47:27Hooked up by that pig lantern jaw
01:47:29Talk about a hook
01:47:33And the crowd loves it
01:47:35here in Huntsville
01:47:37And the Drill Sergeant
01:47:39is brought back in the hard way
01:47:41Oh what a nice
01:47:43side button there by the Warrior
01:47:45Body slam
01:47:47As the assault continues
01:47:51Tremendous display of power there
01:47:53by the Warrior
01:47:55The huge 310 pound Sergeant
01:47:57being hoisted and thrown around
01:47:59Look at that
01:48:02Goes into the corner with such force
01:48:04he's sent right over the turnbuckle
01:48:06Now he's on the floor
01:48:08as his commanding officer comes to his aid
01:48:10I think those two
01:48:12better check their battle plan
01:48:14I think so, the Warrior is in full cry here
01:48:16He is not to be outdone by anything
01:48:18at all that the Sergeant has in mind
01:48:20The Warrior breaks up the meeting
01:48:24Sergeant Slaughter and General Adnan
01:48:26go head to head
01:48:28Yes their little conference didn't last too long
01:48:30And I like that crack about going head to head
01:48:36Sergeant Slaughter now sent back
01:48:38into the ring as the Warrior
01:48:40wants this war
01:48:42to continue
01:48:46And it certainly has been so far
01:48:48It certainly has Sean
01:48:50The Warrior brought the Sergeant back into the ring
01:48:52He wants to beat him fair and square
01:48:54right in the middle with a 1-2-3
01:48:56or a submission
01:49:00The Warrior observed all those heavy blows
01:49:02at the onset of this match
01:49:04Now the Warrior comes charging in and pays for it
01:49:06A little show of too
01:49:08much confidence there
01:49:10His exuberance really
01:49:12overcame him as he slammed
01:49:14into that turnbuckle
01:49:16Very hard on his sternum
01:49:18Now Sergeant Slaughter
01:49:22begins to torture the Ultimate
01:49:24Warrior, sends him into the
01:49:26timekeeper's table
01:49:30And there is
01:49:32nothing that cannot be used
01:49:34as far as Sergeant Slaughter is concerned
01:49:36as a weapon in this encounter
01:49:38Tables, chairs
01:49:40whatever is handy
01:49:42Warrior sets into the table again
01:49:47Now he's taking a great deal of punishment
01:49:49He certainly is
01:49:51And the referee's
01:49:53count is going on
01:49:55He stopped it twice but now
01:49:57he's resumed that count and both men
01:49:59are back inside the ring
01:50:01And the Sergeant definitely has the upper hand
01:50:03here
01:50:07Sergeant Slaughter doing what he does best
01:50:11That is punishing an opponent
01:50:15Yes, you could say kicking the living daylights
01:50:17out of his opponent
01:50:19Gosh, Warrior looks to be in awful shape to me
01:50:21This is a dire situation
01:50:23We could see history in the making here
01:50:25The Sergeant could take that title
01:50:27so easily
01:50:33The Warrior
01:50:35refuses to give up although he is in bad shape
01:50:37at this point
01:50:39Sergeant Slaughter keeps up
01:50:41his attack
01:50:43At the outset of this match Sean
01:50:45you said that both men wanted to punish each other
01:50:47and that the championship was only a by-product
01:50:49of this match
01:50:51It certainly seems that way
01:50:53Neither man has gone for a cover
01:50:55For it is obvious that's exactly
01:50:57what they intend to do
01:50:59Yes, they're both exacting a measure of revenge
01:51:01against each other
01:51:03And what a hard, tough, tough match
01:51:05this Coliseum video exclusive is
01:51:11Sergeant Slaughter into the corner
01:51:13Backdrop!
01:51:18He'll never get up from that
01:51:21Sergeant Slaughter driven into the canvas
01:51:24like a rail spike
01:51:26and now bounces off the
01:51:28ring post
01:51:30That's the force
01:51:32that Sergeant Slaughter went into that corner
01:51:34He's taking tremendous punishment
01:51:36and look at this
01:51:38and he's got him, the Warrior's got him
01:51:40He's taking his time though
01:51:44And the Warrior doesn't go for a cover
01:51:46He wants to
01:51:48punish Sergeant Slaughter
01:51:50I think he wants to annihilate him
01:51:52He's really concentrating
01:51:54on banging his head
01:51:56into that turnbuckle
01:51:58and the Sergeant now in
01:52:00very, very dire straits
01:52:02The Warrior wanted to reap
01:52:04some revenge
01:52:06Before he ends this encounter
01:52:08Both men slam into one another at the center of the ring
01:52:10Attempting clotheslines
01:52:14And they both pay the price
01:52:18And the General shouting for the Sergeant to get
01:52:20to his feet and if he does
01:52:22the Warrior could have been counted out
01:52:24No, the referee will have
01:52:26to take up the count again
01:52:28I believe
01:52:34The incessant bantering of
01:52:36General Adnan continues
01:52:39It has since the beginning of this match
01:52:41The guy's bringing up for a body slam
01:52:43The Warrior uses the leverage
01:52:47Good count of two but not enough
01:52:49The Sergeant lacking a lot of power now Sean
01:52:51He lifted it up for that slam
01:52:53A neckbreaker and a good one too
01:52:57The Warrior now in position to be covered
01:52:59Sergeant Slaughter
01:53:01Slow getting there
01:53:03It costs him
01:53:07The Warrior fights on
01:53:11The Sergeant all fully close to becoming the World Wrestling
01:53:13Federation Champion right there and then
01:53:15Another attack
01:53:17Slow cover again does not hook the leg
01:53:21And
01:53:23Sergeant Slaughter definitely showing his fatigue
01:53:27He certainly is showing the signs
01:53:29of a lot of wear and tear
01:53:31at the hands of the Warrior
01:53:33If the Warrior could only make some sort of
01:53:35comeback here, a resurgence of strength
01:53:37and energy, he could take the initiative
01:53:39away from the Sergeant
01:53:42Rolled him over
01:53:46Rolled him over again here
01:53:50Again, the Warrior gets his shoulder
01:53:52off the canvas
01:53:54A lot of courage Sean
01:53:56being shown by the Warrior
01:54:00And Sergeant Slaughter now going for his
01:54:02patented move of the Camel Clutch
01:54:06Finally gets both arms up
01:54:08And now
01:54:10he wants to see a submission
01:54:12But the Warrior you can see clearly shaking his head
01:54:14No
01:54:16And a submission will win this championship
01:54:18for the Sergeant
01:54:20What reserve the champion has
01:54:22He is not about to let go of that
01:54:24championship belt
01:54:28Oh he's won this championship
01:54:30No
01:54:32What is it?
01:54:34The Ultimate Warrior got his foot up on the rope
01:54:36Sergeant Slaughter thought
01:54:38he had gotten the submission
01:54:40but that is not the case
01:54:44And now the Warrior
01:54:46finding strength from above
01:54:48and this crowd here in Huntsville
01:54:52Look at that! Tremendous shot by the Warrior
01:54:54And that's just what this crowd here
01:54:56this packed little house was hoping
01:54:58would happen
01:55:00Series of clotheslines
01:55:02And now it's Sergeant Slaughter
01:55:04who is in serious trouble
01:55:08And General Hatton watches helplessly
01:55:10from ringside
01:55:12And how quickly that pendulum swings
01:55:14Shoulder block! Down goes Sergeant Slaughter
01:55:18The Sergeant had full authority over this match
01:55:20And that's a splash!
01:55:22And the count!
01:55:24Got it!

01:55:50Indeed it was Sean
01:55:52The Sergeant must be cursing himself right now
01:55:54because several times
01:55:56through this match he had the ability
01:55:58to pin the Warrior
01:56:00However his mind was besotted with revenge
01:56:02And that's what he wanted
01:56:04to make the Warrior suffer
01:56:06He did that but he did not win
01:56:08that all important belt
01:56:10that the Warrior so proudly displayed
01:56:12Several times through this encounter
01:56:14the Warrior was down
01:56:16It looked like he was going to lose
01:56:18the championship belt
01:56:20But once again
01:56:22he answers the gods
