00:00This is a game where you haven't realised you needed it in your collection, especially
00:17for the £5 mark. It's actually quite relaxing and will completely grab all your attention
00:23and focus. Do you remember playing that game where you have to pass a metal hoop that's
00:29attached to a stick from one end to the other end over a metal wire shaped like a bumpy
00:34road and if you touched it then it would make a buzzing sound? Well here it is, in VR, only
00:42it looks a lot friendlier and nicer. The menu is simple, start the game, turn BGM on and
00:48off, turn pass through on and off, enter your name, select difficulty level. Easy. You begin
00:54with simple training that eases you into playing and as you progress things get slightly
01:00more difficult. Some puzzles are basic, others involve some obstacles along the route and
01:06others involve having to hit switches in order to be able to pass to the end. The backdrop
01:12is simple and colourful, the hoop and obstacles are colourful and fun looking. There is also
01:18pass through mode if you prefer. The mechanics of this just works great and you could also
01:24adjust the playing area by moving a tab that sits underneath the puzzle so you can raise
01:31or lower the puzzle or turn the puzzle around. You will need to stop and think before you
01:37start some of these levels and there will always be something that gets you that you
01:41didn't notice. Now once you move your hoop you will start the timer so you will be up
01:48against the clock. The easy level offers you some leeway in the way of a health bar so
01:54that you can touch the pipes a few times and you lose a little bit of health which
01:59then regenerates after a couple of seconds but that is going to cost you some time if
02:04you wait. But on the hard mode there is no health bar, touch it and you restart. You
02:11can customise the colours of your hoop and also decide if you want spots or stripes on
02:16it and then you can choose a colour for them also. Then you can pick if you want to have
02:22a hoop or a hat on your hoop which is weird to say. It would be nice if you could customise
02:29it further with more choices but it's no deal breaker. For a £5 game there's quite a lot
02:35here so on that note I score Rescue the Holes at a 21 out of 25. You can find my scoring
