00:00It does feel like, at least on a follow-up to your story, as far as the polling is concerned,
00:07this is the strongest support that the polls have shown.
00:11We've seen previous polls from people in Missouri, you know, more than 50% of people wanting
00:17sports betting there, but it seems like that number is climbing as we continue to talk
00:20about it.
00:21Yeah, it's been fairly kind of 50-50 the whole time, but the latest poll is very strong in
00:26terms of that 50%.
00:2950% fully support it, then another 21% are kind of undecided, and it was kind of an interesting
00:36go-to-the-story at Legal Sports Report.
00:38We break it down a little bit more from the St. Louis University and YouGov poll, but
00:43you know, overwhelming support from men.
00:48Democrats support it quite a bit more than Republicans, but not too bad.
00:52I think Republicans are about 44%, Democrats are 58%.
00:56Urban areas, Kansas City, St. Louis, very much for it.
01:01But once you get out to the rural areas, and again, the data kind of showed that people
01:08who make more money and people who are more educated are for sports betting, which was
01:13kind of an interesting takeaway for me.
01:16But yeah, right now, the professor who was kind of behind it said, this looks like it's
01:20a no-brainer, it'll get passed in November.
01:24Again, that's dependent on this hearing tomorrow, potentially.
01:28But yeah, as you said, the numbers right now are really a good situation.
