00:00Returning to the Philippines, Alice Guo will be brought to the Senate Detention Facility, where she will be accompanied by Sheila Guo.
00:07Again, President Bongbong Marcos insisted that all those involved in the extradition of the former mayor of the country will be held accountable.
00:15Chino Gaston has the news.
00:18Let's go.
00:20If anyone helped dismiss the former mayor of the country, Alice Guo will be held accountable, according to President Bongbong Marcos.
00:27When asked, who will be hit?
00:30Oh, you'll find out soon enough.
00:32We will not only hit them, we will also sue them.
00:36Because what they did is against the law and against all of the interests of the Philippine judicial system.
00:46Alice Guo was last seen by the public on May 22 in the Senate hearing on illegal activities in the Philippines.
00:53After almost three months, on August 19, information broke that Guo had already left the country in July and arrived in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
01:03One day after that, on August 20, Guo arrived at the airport in Indonesia.
01:08That same day, Alice's brother, Sheila, and Cassandra Ong, a member of Lucky South 99, were detained in Batam, Indonesia.
01:17On camera, Ong was detained because of a contempt order against her.
01:21She was charged with non-compliance with the hearings.
01:24In the Senate, Sheila Guo and Alice Guo will be held accountable in the same detention room in the Senate when she returns to the Philippines.
01:33We assure their safety.
01:36If I need to add more personnel to guard them 24-7, we will do it.
01:42They will be together in the room and they will be allowed to use their cellphones.
01:50But Senator Wynne Gatchalian is against this.
01:53If she wants to call and talk to her lawyer or other people she needs to talk to,
01:59she should use a cellphone outside of the detention cell, a common cellphone.
02:04And of course, she has permission from our Sergeant-at-Arms.
02:10That's the nature of detention.
02:13We can also avoid her contact with other people outside.
02:18We don't know who else she can talk to.
02:24We know that she has links with syndicates. Maybe she can talk to the syndicates.
02:29The Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality still has many questions for Alice.
02:35Like many government officials and law enforcement agencies,
02:39they are against the spread of illegal drugs in the Central Zone.
02:44I am fully expecting that she will speak the truth.
02:49Because this arrest will prove that she will not escape.
02:55And those who helped her escape, we will not let them go.
03:01The Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality heard about a house in Paranaque
03:06where an illegal drug operation is taking place.
03:09The court has an office here.
03:12That license has already been cancelled.
03:16As of May 27, they have already received the cancellation order due to violations.
03:26After the Banban and Porak incident, we will add 24x7.
03:35That is why, Senator Tulfo, that is the reason why our inspectors recommended nine violations to us.
03:49Sir, let me just finish. Collector for the case.
03:53Senators asked the court, DOLI and PNP how they will close the so-called 208 illegal pogos in the country
04:02and if the 41 illegal pogos will be impacted until December 31.
04:08The Bureau of Immigration announced the cancellation of the 9G visas.
04:15The 9G visas cannot be cancelled until December 31
04:21because then, first of all, how will the so-called foreign workers leave?
04:27We are here on the cancelled alien employment permit.
04:32What we cancelled in NCR as of 2023, 24,361.
04:39Central Ozon, 513.
04:42Calabarzon, 2,121.
04:45And Region 10, 67.
04:47Now, if they were allowed to leave or not,
04:57our answer to that is we are giving this to the BI and they are facilitating it.
