00:00Today, we're gonna show you how to travel Ibiza.
00:03From the world-class nightlife and parties
00:05to the holistic and spiritual side of the island.
00:09The epic adventures and landscapes,
00:11and of course, it wouldn't be a guide
00:13without showing you the food and restaurants
00:15that make this island so special.
00:17After trying to research Ibiza,
00:19this is the all-in-one video I wish I had
00:22before arriving here.
00:24Let's get into it.
00:25♪ Contando sex y enamore ♪
00:29Let's party!
00:38Now, before we get into it, you need to know,
00:40Ibiza is 100% one of the world capitals of partying.
00:44But the surprising part is,
00:46you actually might come here even if you don't party.
00:48In fact, it's the reason we came back again this year.
00:51It has so much to offer,
00:53which is exactly what this video is going to show you.
00:56The island is pretty small.
00:57You can drive from north to south in just one hour.
01:00Ibiza locals will tell you the best part of the island
01:02is the north and the northeast,
01:04but most travelers and club goers
01:06will end up around here, near the airport.
01:08In fact, one club is literally right next to the airport.
01:11The island is super seasonal,
01:13with it being busy from about May till about October,
01:16but the peak is during summer months.
01:18And another thing you should know
01:20is that the island isn't cheap,
01:21but we'll show you more about prices as we go.
01:23Despite the island being very small,
01:25you're gonna want at least five days here
01:26if you plan to follow this itinerary.
01:28Let's get this trip off to an epic start here.
01:32So, I've broken this video down
01:33into five distinct sides of Ibiza.
01:36We got natural Ibiza, party Ibiza, holistic Ibiza,
01:39cultural Ibiza, and foodie Ibiza.
01:42But let's start with the natural beauty of this island.
01:44All right, we are just about there.
01:46An hour and a half hike from this starting point here
01:49has brought us to the top of the mountain,
01:51and just ahead, the famous view.
02:10This is Es Vedra, and it's said to be
02:12one of the most magnetic places on the planet.
02:15A lot of people believe it's a very spiritual place,
02:17a place where you get really connected with the island.
02:21I don't know how much I buy into it,
02:22but I'll tell you one thing,
02:24I definitely buy into this view.
02:25It is one of the most stunning viewpoints.
02:27And over there, some guys living their best lives
02:30painting away.
02:31Definitely a must-add spot to your visit here to Ibiza.
02:35Now, I will say, if you're not a hiker,
02:37you can also just go to the parking lot,
02:38but you'd be robbing yourself of a very beautiful hike up.
02:42But the natural side of Ibiza
02:44is so much more than just mountains.
02:46Last year, we rented a yacht with our friends
02:48to see the coastal side of Ibiza, and it was spectacular.
02:55The coastline of Ibiza is a masterpiece,
02:58and being out here on a calm day with amazing people
03:01is just unbeatable.
03:03The water is a little bit cold,
03:05but you'll be feeling so good afterwards,
03:07and it's so blue as well.
03:09It's literally the blue we all chase when we travel.
03:11Taking out a yacht can be a super fun
03:13and intimate experience.
03:15We ended up using a company by the name of Boats Ibiza,
03:18and they were really good.
03:19This comes as no surprise.
03:20It wasn't cheap.
03:22But let me show you where the yacht took us.
03:24This is a place by the name of Formentera,
03:26and it is basically a dreamy spit of sand
03:30right off the coast of Ibiza,
03:31and this is where you can find amazing restaurants,
03:35amazing beaches, and just a total escape
03:38surrounded by blue water.
03:40We took the boat to a restaurant
03:41called Beso Beach in Formentera,
03:44and it was my favorite part of the trip.
03:46It was literally one of my favorite moments in life.
03:48It's this super hidden-away restaurant
03:50literally disguised into the beach,

04:03That was literally a scene out of a movie.
04:05I've never had anything like that,
04:07and that lunch was so fun.
04:09The energy, the staff, the food.
04:12Maybe we're a little biased
04:13as we were traveling with one of the most fun groups
04:15you could have, but this is a place you must, must visit
04:19if you can get a reservation.
04:22It is the most popular restaurant in Formentera.
04:25And surprise, surprise, it's also very expensive.
04:28But if you're watching this thinking,
04:30look, I don't have the budget for a yacht, that's okay.
04:32You can still get the Formentera experience by taking this.
04:36There are ferries running every 30 to 60 minutes.
04:39They're about 50 euros round trip.
04:41So you can still get the Formentera life
04:43without the price tag.
04:44As you're starting to see, there's so many ways
04:47to see the beauty of Ibiza, but one of the best
04:50is honestly just renting a car or getting a scooter
04:53and drive around the island.
04:55If you taxi everywhere and you're here for a while,
04:57it's gonna add up, it's super expensive.
04:59But luckily this car here is about 50 euros a day
05:02in low season, 70 in high, and honestly,
05:05one of the best ways to get around Ibiza, a scooter.
05:09I love cruising around here without aim,
05:11going through the little country roads,
05:13the zigzagging paths, the small little towns.
05:16It's a really pretty island.
05:18Last time we were here, we rented this Vespa
05:20for about 30 euros for the day.
05:22I pay $3 a day in Bali, but we're not in Bali.
05:25And we drove and we found this restaurant here
05:28called Calle Gracioneta.
05:30Calle Gracioneta.
05:31Okay, I'll let her do the Spanish.
05:33It was so stunning.
05:35An amazing oasis, the bluest water opens up here
05:39to a white sand beach, and I love how the restaurant
05:42is like built into the nature.
05:43It's made of stone.
05:44Some steak, 50 euros.
05:47Paella for two people, 50 euros.
05:50Eating by the ocean, priceless.
05:52The food here was to die for, but I also died
05:56a little bit when I got served the bill.
05:58I've been bamboozled.
05:59That was not a 48 euro paella.
06:01That was 48 euros per person.
06:03Oh God, we're gonna need a second job for this.
06:09Look, we're gonna show you how to travel Ibiza.
06:13How to afford it is completely up to you.
06:15And one last natural gem is Perina Beach,
06:18which is where in the summer months
06:20there should be a big drum circle just about every sunset
06:23with the biggest one happening on Sundays.
06:26We went on a rainy day and nobody showed up.
06:29All right, you're in Ibiza.
06:32It's party time.
06:34Now if you're asking us, we are more
06:36of the beach club type.
06:38We like to be in bed by 10 p.m.
06:40And beach clubs are something Ibiza does very well.
06:43You've got lots of different places
06:45where you can sip mimosas, sangria,
06:47and enjoy the sun, the music, the waves,
06:50and maybe even take out a boat
06:52and go wakeboarding off the shore.
06:53Some beach clubs are rowdy, others are very chill.
06:56We really enjoyed our start to the trip here at Jondal,
07:00which is a restaurant meets beach club.
07:02You can lounge by the water, you can eat amazing food.
07:06And then because it's Ibiza, you can literally go 24-7.
07:09You can go from a beach club to a club,
07:12from a club to a beach club.
07:14The good times literally never have to end
07:16if you can keep on going.
07:18And if you come to Ibiza during the summer season,
07:20which is the busiest time,
07:22there's going to be artists and DJs
07:24basically every single day of the week,
07:27which means lots of partying.
07:29♪ Big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big ♪
07:35The Vegas artists have residencies here during the summer,
07:38so that means that they're going to be here
07:39on a one-week rotation,
07:41which means you'll have lots of opportunities to see them.
07:44This year was the holistic Ibiza.
07:46Last year was the party Ibiza.
07:48Night one, we went to DC10 and saw Damien Lazarus.
07:52Epic.
07:53The next night, we went to Black Coffee at High Ibiza.
07:56Epic.
07:57The next day, we went to Pasha and saw Camel Fat.
08:01Not as epic.
08:03But the next night, we went back to Pasha
08:05and saw Monolink.
08:07Absolutely epic.
08:08In my opinion, the artist matters way more

08:12And tonight, we're going out.
08:17We're going out.
08:17Ibiza season literally opens tonight.
08:21And we went to Bed By 10.
08:23Let's talk about the holistic side of Ibiza,
08:26because it's a really big scene here.
08:27From yoga getaways, fitness boot camps,
08:30and spirituality retreats,
08:32there's a lot of events held here in the summer months.
08:34And we decided to try one.
08:36So this trip started because Christian and I
08:38were invited to come attend the Intelligent Change Summit,
08:42which is one of the very many retreats
08:44that are held here year round.
08:45But this one was very, very special.
08:49For five nights, we stayed here at the Sixth Senses Ibiza,
08:52which is basically a wellness retreat in itself.
08:54But what was so cool about this experience
08:57is that it brought together
08:58all these different wellness activities
09:00that are usually found across Ibiza throughout the summer.
09:03And it brought it all under one roof.
09:04Every morning, we started with a super killer workout.
09:07One day was with Joe DeSena,
09:09who created Tough Mudder and Spartan Race.
09:11And that included a lot of suffering and a lot of burpees.
09:14Spartans, what is your profession?
09:16Aroo, aroo, aroo.
09:19There was not one Spartan 2,500 years ago
09:21that was like this.
09:2220.
09:24We were supposed to be done.
09:25He's like, yeah, you got 90 more.
09:27The next day was more flowy and meditative
09:29as we hung out on a rooftop with Mike Chang.
09:33That's the most still I've ever gotten in my mind
09:35through meditation.
09:36And then the next day, I started my morning workout
09:39by learning the way of the samurai.
09:43Don't control it so.
09:44Control it inside of you, okay?
09:46Hold it.
09:48Beautiful, keep it.
09:50Hey, hey, hey.
09:51So a big part of this Intelligent Change Summit
09:54is around relationships.
09:56So right now, we're going to a workshop on intimacy,
09:59something I'm excited to hear more about.
10:02Very slowly, and you're gonna be doing a touch.
10:05Really want to.
10:06So this session was uncomfortable at moments.
10:10The start was basically Ruby and I pairing
10:13with a total stranger to exercise touching each other
10:17on command.
10:18If you're telling somebody where you want to be touched,
10:19then if they were open to doing it,
10:21they would touch you in that place.
10:22Well, some dude was basically touching my shoulder,
10:25my hand, my wrist, my forearm, my neck at one point.
10:29It was honestly a bit of a stretch.
10:32But when you break down that barrier,
10:34what the instructor Chloe was saying
10:35is that for a lot of people,
10:37they are very shameful around touch, around intimacy.
10:40So this is a very helpful workshop for some people
10:42to be able to kind of unlock that self.
10:44From deep relaxation in the spa and the steam rooms.
10:48Nights spent listening to explorative music
10:51without any substances or alcohol.
10:53Which is our kind of party.
10:54To workshops and retreats around intimacy and connection.
10:58Look, I'm not the person that usually goes
11:00to wellness, holistic retreats.
11:03I am.
11:03This was an amazing experience.
11:05It opened new doors to me and I'd come back.
11:09One experience that really stood out was with Anthony
11:11and Amy, when we had a breath work experience.
11:20The whole unity of the two families.
11:23Those were the first few breaths, just two parts.
11:27So, laughing is good, crying is good.
11:31Crying is good.
11:42Love is in the air.
11:44So much intense feeling.
11:47A lot of emotional release, a lot of love.
11:50A lot of appreciation.
11:51Breath work works wonders, honestly.
11:54That was crazy.
11:54I'll explain in a sec.
11:56I need to regain my breath.
11:58It's so hard to describe what just happened
12:02about an hour ago as we were at that breath work.
12:04How often do you lock eyes, hold hands with a stranger,
12:09and truly take full attention to them?
12:12You tie in the looped breath and you do start
12:16to feel a little out of body.
12:18And that's what brought that amazing outcome at the end,
12:20where everyone was just euphoric, hanging out together,
12:23celebrating life, and celebrating each other.
12:25So, kind of like Bali, Ibiza has a local community.
12:30It calls people that first visited and then ended up staying.
12:33And getting connected with locals is always something
12:36that enhances our travel experiences.
12:38So, the other day, we went to where the locals go.
12:41We went to a holistic workout
12:43by the name of Primal Movements.
12:45And true to its name, we learned to walk
12:47like our distant cousins, the apes, the monkeys,
12:50and we worked all of our muscle groups
12:52that normally go neglected.
12:56This is a lot harder than it looks.
12:58Bear crawls, pushups, it's all adding up.
13:02But the thing that stood out the most
13:03was actually the people we were meeting there.
13:05We ended up meeting an Ibiza local.
13:07He told us about what was going on in the community,
13:09where the locals actually go,
13:11and some of the cool upcoming events.
13:13And I think that's really fun if you plan to stay here
13:15for more than the length of this itinerary.
13:25Now, when it comes to culture and history,
13:27Ibiza definitely has some of the old Europe.
13:29If you go to the old town Ibiza,
13:31you can get high up into the mountain,
13:33see cathedrals and fortresses,
13:36beautiful cobblestone walkways,
13:38live music, and amazing restaurants.
13:40Not to mention, it's a wonderful place for sunset.
13:43If you want to go shopping, you've got it there
13:45from little boutiques to the H&M and Zara's of the world,
13:49and gelato.
13:51For food, I'm gonna hand it over to an expert.
13:53♪ Cuando nos salga el sol, mi paloma, tu propia luz... ♪
13:59And when it comes to Ibiza, there are so many food options.
14:04So right now we're at Paloma.
14:05This is one of the restaurants of the island.
14:08Three different friends recommended it to us.
14:11I'm excited to have finally come here.
14:13But make sure you make a reservation,
14:14otherwise you'll end up like us, getting turned back.
14:17So it's our second try at it.
14:18But on this trip, we had two other standout meals.
14:20One was La Parrilla, where we basically got
14:23four people's worth of food with one steak dinner
14:26grilled right in front of us.
14:27We literally came back the next day
14:29to reheat the food and eat it again.
14:31Don't know if they'd love me saying that,
14:33but it was amazing.
14:34And the second one was Amalure,
14:35and this was a super fancy, high-end restaurant.
14:38You kind of feel like you want to dress up like James Bond.
14:40And it was such delicious, yummy Italian food.
14:44And that was just a romantic evening, just the two of us.
14:47Also, big portions, which is always a plus.
14:50So that is how to travel Ibiza.
14:52Next up, I'm gonna show you how to do it in Barcelona.
14:55Let's get lost again in the next one.
