Ford August Sales Climb in August, Outpacing Industry. F-Series Trucks and Hybrid Models Lead Gains

Ford Motor reported a 13.4% increase in U.S. vehicle sales in August, led by F-Series trucks and hybrid models. Truck sales were up more than 12%, and hybrid vehicle sales jumped 50% compared to the same time last year. Electric vehicle sales, including the F-150 Lightning, saw a 29% increase. Over 80% of Ford's sales were traditional internal combustion engine models. Ford's sales growth outpaced industry estimates.
