00:14The typhoon had wreaked havoc in the city, with over 25,000 houses destroyed, nearly
00:20one-third of the roads becoming impassable due to fallen trees, power lines disrupted
00:25and communication base stations damaged.
00:29Longlu Township in Wenchang City is one of the hardest-hit areas by Typhoon Yagi.
00:35Local electricity, fire and sanitation departments had been deployed on Saturday morning to clean
00:42up roads in an effort to restore people's normal life as soon as possible.
00:47The vegetable market in Longlu Town also resumed operation on Saturday to ensure the basic
00:53living supply for the residents.
00:56Typhoon Yagi has affected more than 500,000 people across 19 cities and counties in Hainan
01:03Province, with over 300,000 people relocated for safety and 76,000 people temporarily resettled.
