02:07opening fire at Israeli security forces who killed him in a subsequent shootout.
02:13Local authorities closed the crossing until further notice and Jordan is reportedly investigating
02:19the shooting.
02:20Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attack and linked it to Israel's
02:25larger conflict with Iran and allied militant groups, including Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah
02:31in Lebanon.
02:33Jordan, which has a large Palestinian population, made peace with Israel in 1994, but has been
02:40deeply and publicly critical of its policies towards Palestinians.
02:51Authorities in Kosovo have closed two border crossings with Serbia after protesters on
02:55the Serbian side blocked the road and prevented motorists with Kosovo documents from passing
03:01through.
03:02Protesters started blockading the border crossing late on Friday.
03:06They said that was in protest against the closure of parallel administrations that ethnic
03:10Serbs in northern Kosovo had set up.
03:13Some demonstrators also demanded that the NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo assume
03:18control over the north.
03:22Northern Kosovo, with its predominantly ethnic Serb population, has long been a flashpoint
03:27for tensions between Belgrade and Pristina.
03:30Earlier this year, Kosovo made the euro the only legal currency in the country, effectively
03:35outlawing use of the Serbian dinar.
03:37And the border blockade began just days after police in northern Kosovo closed five administration
03:43offices linked to the Belgrade government.
03:46Serbia doesn't recognize Kosovo's independence, proclaimed in 2008.
03:55Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has presented his economic agenda for the next
04:00year in a speech at the Thessaloniki International Fair.
04:04He outlined nine challenges for the government, including the convergence of public and private
04:09sector wages, employment growth and green transition.
04:39Among the 45 measures announced are higher pensions for 2 million pensioners and an increase
04:50in the minimum wage from April.
