00:00The Department of Justice has decided that Dismissed Mamban Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo cannot be a state witness for now.
00:06Justice Assistant Secretary Mico Clavano defended the former position of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla
00:13that it is unreliable for Guo to be a state witness because he is still the most guilty based on the investigation conducted by the Illegal Pogo.
00:23Clavano also said that they do not deny the possibility of Guo being a state witness
00:30when a bigger individual is involved in the investigation.
00:36One of the possible reasons for Guo to be a state witness is if he is ready to sing the names of bigger people involved.
00:45Guo is now facing various cases such as trafficking in persons, money laundering, and graft.
00:53Guo was also brought to the Commission on Elections for misrepresentation of his Certificate of Candidacy when he ran for the 2022 elections.
