00:00What does national pride mean?
00:02You know, that you, I don't know, you like, you know, roast beef or pints of ale.
00:08Well, you know, like them, but, you know, don't make such a big deal about them.
00:12Just be kind to your fellow man and woman, that's what I'd say.
00:15You should own where you're from.
00:16Like, no matter where you're from, you're a special individual
00:20and everywhere has its own, like, good parts.
00:23So, you should embrace it.
00:24Some parts of it just feel nice and cosy.
00:26Like, I like to go to sort of, like, places right near, like, the Lake District
00:31or near, like, full of the nature, so I can see that and feel a bit more relaxed.
00:35Whether it's British, Irish, French, Tanzanian or whatever,
00:39I think national pride is, it's a bit of a curse.
00:45I think people get too wound up about defining themselves in that way.
00:50What we need to be much more focused on is about the people we live with and around,
00:57the senses of home, the sense of community.
