07:46Everybody in the business knew the real subtext of Eric's words.

07:50The people responsible were going to pay for what they did to Emma.

08:00Although Emma's announcement was a surprise, Jeff remained calm.

08:04He didn't need an explanation to understand

08:07why she was retreating from the industry.

08:10He agreed that it was the right decision.

08:13Peter commented,

08:16I've never seen Emma back down before.

08:19I wonder why she would now.

08:22Jeff patted his grandson's shoulder.

08:31Changing the subject quickly, he asked,

13:43As Peter heard the man's footsteps coming toward him,

13:46he rapidly backed up to act as if he'd just entered the hallway.

13:50He struggled to keep up the blank expression

13:53as he tried to wrap his mind around the conversation he had just heard.

13:58Millie tensed when she saw him

14:00and tried to say goodbye to the man as casually as possible.

14:04After he left, she shifted awkwardly and explained.

14:09That's Jackson, an old friend from school.

14:12He stopped by to catch up.

14:14Peter nodded without saying anything,

14:16but he was starting to worry about Millie's truthfulness with him.

14:20Despite his doubts, Peter had no evidence.

14:23He didn't want to accuse her of anything

14:26and he couldn't think of a way to ask without implying that he didn't trust her.
