00:04This Louis Vuitton look was Pharrell's first show in Paris,
00:08and I wanted to wear something that was super campy and playful.
00:11It was the year of the rabbit, and you can always count on me to disrupt things
00:15and make it my own with a fun chapeau.
00:17This was for the CFDA Awards, and I love the idea of wearing a baseball cap.
00:23I was sitting at New Era's table at the CFDA Awards.
00:26I was wearing a bibu gown, and I just really wanted to walk into the room
00:30and people to see my personality.
00:32I was competing against supermodels and very big personalities,
00:35and one thing about this look, it just really made me feel young and angelic
00:40and playful and sexy.
00:42This was Jay and I.
00:43I think I talked him into going to some event with me.
00:46We never hang out together. It's always business.
00:48One thing about Mr. Carter, whenever I ask him to show up for me
00:52for very important moments, he does, and this was one of those moments.
00:55I love going out to events for my daughter, Summer,
00:59and it's always the June and Summer show when we show up.
01:02This was for the Emoji premiere, and, you know, Summer kind of walks into a red carpet,
01:08and as shy as she was then, she fit right in.
01:11This look was like one of those June after dark looks.
01:14It was like, if you remember the movie Zoolander, it was like derelict collection.
01:20So I was like grungy, layered.
01:22The only thing I had on that was Burberry that night was actually the blanket, oddly enough.
01:29I think, oh, and some shoes. They sent me some shoes to wear.
01:32But the hat was Lanvin, and I love, like, you know, I'm always in black,
01:37so it was really nice to step out and do a nice color block moment
01:40and then disrupt it with a really crisp blue chambray shirt,
01:45which really made it, again, very campy, young, and playful.
