00:00The bright surroundings of Upper Wright Park in Baguio City will certainly be seen,

00:05especially at night when the Baguio City LGU and an organization signed a Memorandum of Agreement

00:12for the Adopt-a-Park Program.

00:18The Local Government of Baguio City and Rotary Club of Creative City Baguio District 3790

00:27for the improvement and maintenance of the bright surroundings of Upper Wright Park, especially at night.

00:33This is followed by the appointment of City Mayor Benjamin Maganong,

00:37Environment and Parks Management Officer Atty. Renan Diwas,

00:40and the so-called club led by President Odil Sung Nuan for the Adopt-a-Park Program in the so-called area.

00:47This group's action is one of the priority programs that Rotary International is focusing on.

00:54This is in line with the seven areas of focus of the Rotary International,

01:01and that is the environment and the peace and conflict resolution.

01:07We decided to adopt the Wright Park for us to advocate the alternative source of energy and public safety.

01:19The contents of the MOA is for us to keep on monitoring the solar lights and whenever it is being destroyed or whatsoever we have to replace them throughout the years.

01:50The Rotary Club of Cona Sunrise District 5000 also organized a group of peace poles with solar lights in the so-called park.

02:00This is an act of solidarity for the peace of the whole world.
