00:30The toothbrush is 2.008 meters or six foot and seven inches.
00:53So the reason we ended up bringing to life the world's largest electric toothbrush is
00:56because me and my friend Sean have a YouTube channel where we bring to life kids invention
01:00ideas. So four to 11 year olds send us their invention ideas as pictures or videos and we
01:05bring them to life. An 11 year old George sent us his idea for a giant electric toothbrush and as
01:10soon as we saw it we knew we had to build it. One of the things that's quite interesting about
01:16the channel is that both Sean and I are dyslexic. Now I never realized at school that I was dyslexic
01:21because I have really good memory and I think I managed to just stay under the radar because I
01:26had quite good grades and Sean and I have very different kind of academic journeys but the
01:32interesting thing is that when we met we found that actually we worked really well together and
01:38our dyslexia allows us to see problems very differently and to be able to come up with
01:43really interesting solutions and it's a really it's a great superpower actually when you're
01:47inventing and when you're problem solving. I often think if I'd gone down the career path that I
01:54thought I should do I would be really unhappy and actually I absolutely love what I do every single
02:00day and so I've kind of made it my mission that as many people as possible particularly girls
02:05see that there is a space within engineering and inventing for them.
02:09To receive an official Guinness World Records title is really exciting. As someone that grew
02:15up reading the books it's just such an honour to actually have one for the channel and for
02:22George's incredible invention idea.
