00:00:00Bismillah-e-Rahman-e-Rahim, Assalam-o-Alaikum, Baakhabar, Sawera mein, Khushaam Dey,
00:00:24Haftay ka aghaas toh Monday ko hua tha, lekin abhi hum in the mid of the weekend.
00:00:46ka muqadmah lada, duniya uski muhtarif hai, aur laat-a-daat kitab mein likhi jaa chukki
00:00:50hain, jis mein humein pata chalta hai, ke yeh wo azadi ki tahreek nahi thi, jis mein
00:00:55bakaida do courses aamne-saamne khadi hain, yeh nazariye ki jung thi, aur jis tariqah
00:01:02se jitni taadaat mein log migrate karke Pakistan aaye, iss ka sehra sirf-sirf Qaid-e-Azam
00:01:08ko jaata hai, kyunki jis tariqah se unhone leadership lekar aagey padhe, aur khud bhi
00:01:12lawyer bhi thi, toh bada zabradast muqadmah kiya karte hai.
00:01:15First of all, haat yeh hai ki Muslim League ke banner tale, jis tariqah se Qaid-e-Azam
00:01:21ne logon ko jama kiya, logon mein baaki aur log bhi thi, jinka bada kirdar raha hai, Sardar
00:01:27Abdur-Abd-e-Nishtar hun, Maulana Baradaran hun, Allama Iqbal hun, there were so many
00:01:33people jo ke iss asal aazadi ki tahreek ka hisa bane, iske pehle toh Bartanvi Raj se
00:01:39aazadi ki ek tahreek thi, jo ke 1857 ki jang ke baad chal rahi thi, lekin uske baad yeh
00:01:45jab pata chal gaya, wo 14 naqaat ke baad ki musulman aur hindu saath nahi reh sakte,
00:01:51khaas taur par agar dekha jaye toh us Bar-e-Sagheer Pak-o-Hind ki jis surat-e-haal us waqt thi,
00:01:57lekin ek jis tariqah se aazadi ka ek jazba tha, jis tariqah se ek alaida watan ke qayam
00:02:03ka jazba tha, aur jis tariqah se iss khaab ko unhone sharminda tabheer kiya, toh humein
00:02:07yeh yaad rakhna chahiye, toh ismein aagey chalke hum baat karenge tabseeri taur par.
00:02:10Aaj ek aur important cheez hui abse kuch dir pehle sab ne dekha, duniya ki nazra ispe
00:02:14thi aur wo tha American Presidential Debate, Donald Trump aur Kamala Harris ke darmiyan
00:02:20aur... yeh pehla mubahisa tha?
00:02:21Nahi, yeh Kamala Harris aur Trump ke darmiyan se wala tha.
00:02:23Pehla tha?
00:02:24Kyunki Democrat ke doh umeedwaar change ho gaya hai, isse pehle Joe Biden the, Joe
00:02:28Biden ki jo performance thi wo disastrous rahi, usse baad unhe replace kar diya gaya,
00:02:32toh iske bhi points hum discuss karenge, koi sabki nazra isper hain, kyunki yeh jo mubahisa
00:02:37hota hai, yeh bada you know, important hota hai, detrimental hota hai, toh dekhtein kya
00:02:41hota hai.
00:02:42Aur body languages aur sari chari cheezein.
00:02:43Yes, everything counts.
00:02:44Unki policy, Pakistan mein yeh cheezein nahi hoti, Pakistan mein bhi yeh cheezein huni chahiye.
00:02:48Pakistan mein jo kuch hota hai, uska zarar hum tazkira kar lete hain.
00:02:51Guzarishta kehi din se, jo jis tariqa se yahan par, agar hum Parliament ke waqar ki baat
00:02:57karein, agar hum ikhlaqiyat ki baat karein, toh pehli yeh taasur jata tha ke hum siyasi
00:03:03lehaz se zawal pazeeri ka shikar hain, hum mawashi lehaz se zawal pazeeri ka shikar hain,
00:03:08lekin ab yeh lag raha hai ke ikhlaqi lehaz se bhi zawal pazeeri nazar aa rahi hain, jis
00:03:12tarah ke bayanaat jari kiye jaa rahe hain, doosri tarif se usko justify kiya jaa rahe
00:03:16hain, usse mazeed sakht statements ziye jaa rahe hain.
00:03:18Aur phir actions jo hain, wo apni jagah hain.
00:03:20Acha mujhe aisa lagta hai ki Parliament wo forum hai, jis par tamam ziyasadanon ko unity
00:03:25dikhani chahiye.
00:03:26Lekin hume yaha par mukhtalif jis statement nazar aaye ki jis tariqah se PTI yeh keh
00:03:31rahi hai, ki humare jis tariqah se karakunaan hain, jis leaders hain, unko garaftar kiya
00:03:36gaya, wo yeh dawah kar raha hai ki Parliament ke andar se garaftar kiya gaya, phir wo speaker
00:03:40par zawal utha rahe hain.
00:03:42Acha we'll come to that again, lekin iz waqt ek baar phir aapko liye chalte hain Mazar-e-Qaid,
00:04:03aham din hai aur yaha par Fatiha Khaani bhi hoki aur iske saath saath dekhe aqeedat
00:04:08aur mohabbat ka izhaar kiya jayega.
00:04:21Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
00:04:51Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
00:05:21Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
00:05:51This is not going to be something so easily taken.
00:05:54I consider myself to be unfortunate that in 2014, when a Jamaat and their cousin attacked the parliament,
00:06:02the second attack was on the parliament lodges when Maulana Salauddin Ayubi's room was raided.
00:06:08We will not remain silent on this.
00:06:10In 2014, I myself filed an FIR. If I have to do it today, I will file an FIR in their name.
00:06:18The PTI's position is that Barrister Gauhar says that 10 MNAs have been arrested.
00:06:24They have been arrested within the assembly limits.
00:06:26Plus, they have also discussed the Jalsa in Lahore.
00:06:48Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, who is the leader of Noor League, says that it is the position of the Islamabad administration
00:06:56that the speaker was told that during the PTI, the doors of the parliament lodges were also broken.
00:07:04There was a meeting in which the speaker asked for the IG.
00:07:08He said that these are MNAs.
00:07:10They came to break the law.
00:07:11No, no, it is not about breaking the law.
00:07:12Did anyone ask the speaker?
00:07:13No.
00:07:14It is not about permission, but they were intimated.
00:07:16You are saying that the speaker was told before the action.
00:07:19Yes, it is the position of the Islamabad administration that we told.
00:07:22Did the speaker give permission for it?
00:07:23No, I am not talking about permission or not.
00:07:25The point is that they were 10 feet inside the gate or 10 feet outside the gate.
00:07:29This is not the question.
00:07:31I am saying that these things should not go in politics.
00:07:35Okay, so these are two parties, PTI and Noor League.
00:07:38But apart from this, the other parties, i.e. People's Party and MQM, are neutral in all these matters.
00:07:44And Naveed Kamar says that the incident of last night is an attack on the parliament.
00:07:49And if the parliamentarian is arrested from the gate, then what is left?
00:07:58It is an attack on the entire constitution as well as on the parliament.
00:08:01If the members are arrested, then what is left?
00:08:05They will come here, they will come to the house and arrest you.
00:08:10We will have to take serious action by conducting a serious inquiry.
00:08:13Otherwise, there is no limit to where they will stop.
00:08:15It is an attack on the parliament.
00:08:17We all stand together.
00:08:18I don't see any respect or future here.
00:08:24All right, so you have seen the situation.
00:08:26If we talk about Mustafa Kamal as well.
00:08:28Yes, Mustafa Kamal's statement has also come forward.
00:08:30And I was wondering about something else.
00:08:32He says that both the parties should form a consensus for the sake of the country.
00:08:38No one can support the incident that happened yesterday.
00:08:41We also condemn it and you should play your role.
00:08:43But the speech that the Prime Minister gave at the convention.
00:08:46What kind of a democratic speech is this?
00:08:48What are you talking about for the institutions?
00:08:50For the leaders of the institutions?
00:08:51For the other people of the political parties?
00:08:53Are you talking about women?
00:08:55The outcome of madness is madness.
00:08:58The one who has power will have to understand it.
00:09:01You have popularity.
00:09:03Instead of using that power to abuse people, take care of it.
00:09:08There are no angels here.
00:09:10Everyone has their own history.
00:09:12Put a break on both sides.
00:09:13Now stop for God's sake.
00:09:14Talk about reconciliation from somewhere.
00:09:16So that this country can move forward.
00:09:18So, Mr. Khawar Ghumman is with us.
00:09:20Let's talk to him about the whole situation.
00:09:22Mr. Khawar Ghumman, you also talked about this issue on your show.
00:09:27This matter, whatever is happening legally and legally.
00:09:31Or the arrest happened from here or there.
00:09:34The way the statements are going on.
00:09:36And especially I am talking about this.
00:09:38I am saying that this moral collapse can be seen from this perspective.
00:09:42That one statement came forward.
00:09:44And in response to that, harsh statements are also coming from the other side.
00:09:47And then it is being challenged to come and show this, etc.
00:09:50If one thing is wrong, then the other thing is also not right.
00:09:53Who can put a full stop to this?
00:09:56How can it be put on this whole situation?
00:09:59Look, in politics, whatever things happen, it takes time.
00:10:07In Pakistan, our misfortune is that democracy did not evolve in the way it does in the world.
00:10:19Therefore, we have to take a lot of steps.
00:10:22Conventions have to be developed.
00:10:24Some traditions have to be developed.
00:10:26That's why it will take time.
00:10:28Of course, you have seen here that 3-4 martial laws have been imposed.
00:10:32Laws and regulations have been used at will.
00:10:34So, I think that is a syndrome.
00:10:36When some of our favorite democracies come to power, they are under the same syndrome.
00:10:43They think that we can use the law and regulations at will.
00:10:47Look, there are two things to look at this incident of yesterday.
00:10:50Number one, we have made a joke in front of the whole world.
00:10:54Because in any democratic country, its parliament has the rank of a mother.
00:11:01Every institution in Pakistan, whether it is the Supreme Court, the establishment, the civil bureau, or the government,
00:11:12the power it gains is from the parliament.
00:11:17That's why we talk about the supremacy of the parliament.
00:11:20That's why we talk about the sanctity of the parliament.
00:11:25That's why we talk about the premises of the parliament.
00:11:30The law and regulations imposed on them are regulated by the custodian, the speaker, and the parliamentarians.
00:11:41No external law is imposed on them.
00:11:44For example, if a parliamentarian has committed a theft or has killed someone,
00:11:52once he is inside the parliament, without the speaker's knowledge, he is not informed.
00:11:59Even if there is a voting on an important issue, even if there is a parliamentarian in jail,
00:12:05the speaker calls him for a particular day.
00:12:08Now tell me, he is the custodian of the parliament.
00:12:11And the parliamentarians also rely on him.
00:12:14Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, who is himself from the Noon League,
00:12:17Ayaz Sadiq himself is from the Noon League,
00:12:19Tariq Fazal Chaudhry says that the speaker was informed,
00:12:23whereas the speaker is saying that he needs evidence.
00:12:26He will decide only after the footage is released.
00:12:29So who is saying what here?
00:12:31How are we going to judge it?
00:12:33I am coming to that.
00:12:35One thing is that an incident has happened.
00:12:38The evidence of that incident is in front of us.
00:12:41And keeping that evidence in front of us, a very big issue has been created.
00:12:46And the speaker is saying, he said in the house yesterday,
00:12:50that this issue has happened, we have to investigate it.
00:12:54And if we get evidence in this regard,
00:12:58that the address of the parliament has been passed,
00:13:01that it has been purged, people have come inside without permission,
00:13:05then against those people, the D.P. will be charged.
00:13:08It is a very simple thing, that the CCTVs are very simple,
00:13:13that if you look inside, you will find out whether they came or not.
00:13:17What is so difficult about it?
00:13:19It takes hours.
00:13:21Mr. Chaudhry, actually you and I are very innocent people.
00:13:24So obviously the CCTVs...
00:13:26Okay, I will put a break to your innocence.
00:13:29You stay with us.
00:13:31Right now, we will take you once again.
00:13:33Right now, Ganga Sin Media is talking.
00:13:35We achieved freedom.
00:13:39There, everyone had to move forward with freedom,
00:13:44with religious freedom,
00:13:47and Pakistan's economy and Pakistan in the world,
00:13:53had to move forward with pride.
00:14:00But the external powers are being sold.
00:14:07And the buyers here are buying it.
00:14:11And this is the reason,
00:14:13that today, economically, day by day, we are being weakened.
00:14:20And above all this thinking,
00:14:24that our statement,
00:14:26which we are giving on national TV,
00:14:31in the gatherings,
00:14:34how will it affect Pakistan's economy?
00:14:41And how will the people in the world, who are watching us,
00:14:44take an impression of it?
00:14:47Recently, the statements of the political party,
00:14:52and the situation in Islamabad,
00:14:58next month, the Prime Minister of Malaysia intends to come to Pakistan.
00:15:05Similarly, the Prime Minister of China intends to come to Pakistan.
00:15:12And before his arrival,
00:15:17the way the situation in Pakistan is being made politically,
00:15:25and the way the speeches are being made,
00:15:28whether it is the National Assembly or the Senate,
00:15:32today, standing at this shrine of Qaid,
00:15:37I can honestly say,
00:15:40that some people are buying and selling the enemy's statement,
00:15:48the statement of hatred.
00:15:54So, the nation has to think,
00:15:57and the nation has to see,
00:16:02that the lakhs of sacrifices that have been made,
00:16:06and till today, the chain of sacrifices continues.
00:16:12Just now, a few days ago, we celebrated September 6,
00:16:17September 7, and September 8.
00:16:22That is, on September 6, the Day of Sacrifices of the Martyrs of Pakistan,
00:16:27on September 7, the Day of Sacrifices of the Martyrs of the Air Force,
00:16:32and on September 8, the Day of Martyrs of the Navy.
00:16:40And instead of learning a lesson from the countless sacrifices of these martyrs,
00:16:47and instead of being determined that we will not allow the sacrifices of these martyrs to be wasted as a nation,
00:16:55by supporting each other in the development of this country, in the economy of this country,
00:17:02instead of removing the 24 crore people who are trapped in the economic crisis,
00:17:12if you look at the slogans and statements of the political community,
00:17:18it does not seem that they are standing in Pakistan.
00:17:22It seems that they are standing in the ranks of the enemies,
00:17:26weakening Pakistan,
00:17:29and inciting the public,
00:17:32and spoiling the economy.
00:17:35Apart from this, they have no statements and no agenda at all.
00:17:40But we will not be disappointed.
00:17:44Because where the hatred of the enemy is spreading,
00:17:51whether it is August 14 or September 6,
00:17:56we are giving the message to the enemy forces that we are one nation,
00:18:06and today, thousands of people, including us,
00:18:11came to the grave of the Qaid,
00:18:14to give the Hazri and Fatiha,
00:18:16and to celebrate this day in the whole country with Aqeedah,
00:18:21is the conviction and determination that no one can reduce their love for Qaid,
00:18:30and love for Qaid means love for Pakistan.
00:18:36We are trying very hard,
00:18:40and we will continue to do so in the future,
00:18:43to take the Pakistani economy forward,
00:18:46and to stand with our people and their future.
00:18:55Because our martyrs,
00:18:58by sacrificing their lives,
00:19:03have sacrificed the future of our children.
00:19:07So we will not let those sacrifices go in vain,
00:19:11and we will not let the enemy forces strengthen in Pakistan.
00:19:20And I think that now, slowly,
00:19:23this nation is also understanding
00:19:25who wants to take the economy of Pakistan forward,
00:19:29and who, even in prison,
00:19:32is spreading hatred.
00:19:36And God willing, one day,
00:19:38the whole nation will realize
00:19:41who is right and who is wrong.
00:19:45In the end, I will only say
00:19:48that may Allah enable us all
00:19:52to follow the footsteps of the Qaid,
00:19:58for which we have achieved this Pakistan,
00:20:03and it is our responsibility
00:20:05to solve the problems of our nation,
00:20:09and may Allah enable us to restore the resources
00:20:13that Allah has given us in Pakistan.
00:20:19In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the ever Merciful.
00:20:21Today, on 11 September 2024,
00:20:25I, along with the Governor and my Cabinet,
00:20:29have come to the shrine of Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
00:20:32to pay my respects to him
00:20:35on the occasion of his 76th birthday.
00:20:39Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
00:20:42gave us our beloved country, Pakistan,
00:20:48and on this day, we pray
00:20:54that we can implement the vision of Qaid-e-Azam for Pakistan
00:21:04and take our country to the place
00:21:09which Allama Iqbal had dreamt of,
00:21:13which Qaid-e-Azam brought to fruition,
00:21:18and after that, our leaders,
00:21:22the martyred Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto
00:21:24and the martyred respected Benazir Bhutto,
00:21:26gave him more strength.
00:21:29May Allah grant us the strength
00:21:34to serve the people of Pakistan.
00:21:39On this day, I pray
00:21:42that Allah grants Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
00:21:45a high status in the state of Firdaus.
00:21:48Along with that,
00:21:50the current state of the country,
00:21:53the Governor has shed light on it in great detail.
00:21:57I also pray
00:22:00that the leadership of this country
00:22:03is given the strength
00:22:06that from these stages,
00:22:09which Pakistan is going through,
00:22:11whether it is our political situation
00:22:14or our economic situation,
00:22:16we can compete with them.
00:22:19On this day,
00:22:22the brothers and sisters in Kashmir
00:22:27whom India is perpetually oppressing
00:22:31and oppressing,
00:22:34with this intention,
00:22:37we stand with them
00:22:39and God willing,
00:22:42we will give the people of Kashmir
00:22:45the right to vote.
00:22:48Along with that,
00:22:51in the Islamic world,
00:22:54especially in Palestine,
00:22:56the Israeli barbarism is going on.
00:22:59We pray that the Islamic world
00:23:02is united
00:23:05and wherever
00:23:08this oppression is happening to Muslims,
00:23:11they should unite
00:23:14and compete with those forces
00:23:17who are oppressing not only Muslims
00:23:20but also humanity.
00:23:23On this day,
00:23:26we should promise once again
00:23:29that we will unite
00:23:32and put aside our personal grievances
00:23:35and compete with the situation
00:23:38in the country
00:23:41and make Pakistan
00:23:44the great country
00:23:47which was the vision
00:23:50of Qaid-e-Azam
00:23:53and for which
00:23:56martyr Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto
00:23:59and martyr Benazir Bhutto
00:24:02are fighting for.
00:24:05Along with that,
00:24:08we should also remember
00:24:11that we are united
00:24:14to compete with the internal situation
00:24:17in the country
00:24:20and we should destroy
00:24:23all those forces
00:24:26who want to harm the country.
00:24:32You said that hate speech
00:24:35is going on in the jail.
00:24:38What do you have to say
00:24:41about women, media and institutions
00:24:44which were used by a minister
00:24:47who is in charge of a province?
00:24:50I was in touch
00:24:53with two people
00:24:56who are members of the assembly
00:24:59and the government of Sindh.
00:25:02In the last 15 years,
00:25:05even 20 years ago
00:25:08when we were in opposition,
00:25:11the Sindh assembly
00:25:14and the Pakistan People's Party
00:25:17were in opposition
00:25:20but they were still in opposition.
00:25:23They were against Kalabagh Dam
00:25:26but the Sindh assembly
00:25:29has agreed to a lot of things
00:25:32for the benefit of the people of Sindh.
00:25:35The Sindh assembly
00:25:38has agreed to a lot of things
00:25:41for the benefit of the people of Sindh.
00:25:44Along with that,
00:25:47the speech of the elected minister
00:25:50was made by only one person
00:25:53and I have heard about him.
00:25:56I don't know if I have heard about him
00:25:59from the media.
00:26:02He was in the government
00:26:05in 2018.
00:26:08The people of Karachi
00:26:11know what happened at that time.
00:26:14I have heard about him.
00:26:17I still don't believe it
00:26:20but I remember that he was the one
00:26:23who was trying to harm the country
00:26:26especially for the people of Sindh.
00:26:29Whenever he used to speak against
00:26:32the people of Sindh,
00:26:35he used to praise them a lot.
00:26:38I have no doubt about that.
00:26:41I have no doubt about that.
00:26:44The country has done a lot
00:26:47for the people of Sindh.
00:26:50I would like to ask you a question.
00:26:53You talked about hate speech.
00:26:56There are some countries
00:26:59including the Gulf countries
00:27:02that are not issuing visas
00:27:05to Pakistanis.
00:27:08I am talking about Iraq
00:27:11and the UAE.
00:27:14People are getting visa process
00:27:17and their money is being wasted.
00:27:20I have a question for you.
00:27:23It was said by the Sindh government
00:27:26that when the rains stop,
00:27:29it will be affected by the Karachi roads.
00:27:32I think the current system in the Gulf
00:27:35has weakened.
00:27:38How long will it last?
00:27:41You are right.
00:27:44There are a lot of complaints
00:27:47from businessmen from all over Pakistan.
00:27:50They are saying that
00:27:53the visa issues in the UAE
00:27:56are decreasing day by day.
00:27:59The new policy they have made
00:28:02is that the graduation
00:28:05or B.Com certificate
00:28:08must be issued.
00:28:11I think this is a step
00:28:14that will affect the revenue
00:28:17of Pakistan every year.
00:28:20There are a lot of people
00:28:23who were working abroad
00:28:26and they have not been able
00:28:29to go home for months
00:28:32because of visa issues.
00:28:35I met the UAE ambassador
00:28:38in Islamabad the other day.
00:28:41I talked to him.
00:28:44I also wrote a letter
00:28:47to the Prime Minister of Pakistan,
00:28:50Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif.
00:28:53I told him to talk about this
00:28:56so that the visa issue
00:28:59can be resolved
00:29:02so that the visa issue
00:29:05can be resolved.
00:29:08I will tell my people
00:29:11that when you go abroad,
00:29:14whether for business
00:29:17or for a job,
00:29:20you should respect
00:29:23the flag of Pakistan.
00:29:26In the UAE,
00:29:29people have made mistakes
00:29:32because of which
00:29:35the UAE ambassador told me
00:29:38that not only our people
00:29:41but also people from Bangladesh
00:29:44and India were involved.
00:29:47The visas of people
00:29:50from both the countries
00:29:53have been issued again.
00:29:56The process has not been stopped.
00:29:59We will talk to the UAE government
00:30:02and the Prime Minister of Pakistan
00:30:05about this issue.
00:30:17You saw the scenes
00:30:20where the Prime Minister
00:30:23and Governor Sindh
00:30:26were present to pay tribute.
00:30:29We will take a break here
00:30:32and come back after the break.
00:30:35Finally, we thank you all again.
00:30:38The questions and answers
00:30:41were left there.
00:30:44Thank you so much for being with us.
00:30:47We went to Mazar-e-Quaid.
00:30:50We went to the Senate.
00:31:20When the matter was not sorted out,
00:31:23the Senate Chairman, Yusuf Raza Gilani,
00:31:26mortgaged Falaq Nass for two days.
00:31:51Are you abusing him?
00:31:54Arrest him.
00:31:57He should be arrested.
00:32:00Chairman, she has to apologise.
00:32:03She has to apologise.
00:32:06She should be thrown out.
00:32:09Suspended.
00:32:12I hereby suspend Senator Falaq Nass
00:32:15for two days.
00:32:19Mr. Gilani seemed to be worried
00:32:22about managing the situation.
00:32:25When it came to the Assembly,
00:32:28Mr. Khawaja Asif and Ali Muhammad Khan
00:32:31were present.
00:32:34Ali Muhammad Khan gave a speech
00:32:37in which he said that the incident
00:32:40that took place in September
00:32:43was the 9th of the Republic.
00:32:46During the speech,
00:32:49Ali Muhammad Khan intervened
00:32:52and the Minister of Defence said
00:32:55that shouting would not work.
00:32:58These people are colouring.
00:33:09Let us talk about the PTI leaders,
00:33:12especially those who gave a speech
00:33:15and those who were arrested.
00:33:18Sher Afzal Marwat, Amir Dogar,
00:33:21Zain Qureshi and other leaders
00:33:24have been sentenced to 8 days.
00:33:27Shoaib Shaheen has been sentenced
00:33:30to a judicial remand.
00:33:33There are 5 cases against the PTI
00:33:36and all the leaders present
00:33:39are involved in these cases.
00:33:42In all the cases,
00:33:45police officers and lawyers
00:33:48have been kept in check.
00:33:51Umar Ayub has slapped a lawyer.
00:33:54The PTI leaders say that
00:33:57the Jalsa will be held in Lahore on 22nd.
00:34:00It will be held in all circumstances.
00:34:03A protest has been announced on Friday.
00:34:06Chairman PTI Barrister Gauhar
00:34:09apologised for Ali Amin's speech.
00:34:12He said that he did not apologise.
00:34:15The PTI statement came out
00:34:18and then he changed his statement.
00:34:21He said that Khaiber Pakhtunkhwa's statement
00:34:24was absolutely correct.
00:34:27Ali Amin Ghandapur said that
00:34:30he will do unconditional apology.
00:34:33He did not say that
00:34:36as far as they are concerned.
00:34:39He said that he did not apologise.
00:34:42He said that he did not apologise.
00:34:45He said that he did not apologise.
00:34:48Governor KP says that
00:34:51Ali Amin Ghandapur has lost
00:34:54his majority in Iwan.
00:34:57He is thinking about
00:35:00taking a vote of confidence.
00:35:03He is Crime Public.
00:35:06PM level
00:35:08Doesn't even know if special branch is going out.
00:35:14Police or CSO
00:35:17Doesn't even know.
00:35:20Down at 3 PM
00:35:23he goes with 20 cars to Peshawar
00:35:26And during meeting in the afternoon
00:35:29no one knows
00:35:32in which you must have seen the resolution they have passed.
00:35:38At this time, the position of the South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is that the government is not at all elite.
00:35:44The whole area is under the control of terrorists.
00:35:48Look at it carefully that they do not have the required facilities at this time.
00:35:53Because if you see, four times the meeting of the provincial assembly has been postponed.
00:35:59If they are told to take a vote of confidence, then they will.
00:36:02When the time comes, God willing, they will say this too.
00:36:04Be a little patient. We are not in a hurry.
00:36:06Let's talk about this.
00:36:08We have with us the advisor of the South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Sehwag.
00:36:11Thank you so much for joining us and a very good morning to you, Barrister Sehwag.
00:36:15You were one of those people who were very worried on this Sunday
00:36:19when the whereabouts of the Prime Minister were not known.
00:36:22And it is obvious that he remained missing for nine hours.
00:36:24Nothing was known.
00:36:26Finally, this statement came out from the Bani PTI that he had been abducted.
00:36:31Were you able to find out where he was during this time when he was missing?
00:36:36No phone was available, no contact was made.
00:36:39Where was he?
00:36:42Yes, I think we have already explained that.
00:36:45These statements have also come.
00:36:47I repeat, at the cost of repetition, if you have not heard,
00:36:50let me tell you that he was in Islamabad and had come there.
00:36:53There was a meeting with the institutions of the establishment.
00:36:57There was a meeting with them.
00:36:59That meeting was cancelled and there were jammers there
00:37:02because of which his phone could not be reached.
00:37:06Because of this, we started worrying.
00:37:09But later, his contact was released and the matter was over.
00:37:13I think the Prime Minister himself has said this and we have also explained it.
00:37:19Okay, you have said that the matter is over.
00:37:21Secondly, the Noon League is reminding you of the timeline.
00:37:26The time frame given by Ali Amin Gandapur, how they will get him out of jail.
00:37:31What will you say about the countdown?
00:37:34Was it a political statement or the way the Noon League is saying that
00:37:37whatever you said, do it.
00:37:39So, what do you say about it?
00:37:41Yes, we do not need to answer the question of what the Noon League is.
00:37:49We do not have any problem.
00:37:51You will ask the same question, right?
00:37:53You have given a good time.
00:37:55Let me talk.
00:37:56First of all, your problem is that you call on the phone
00:37:58and then you have to interrupt in every sentence.
00:38:01If you want to interrupt, then you have to play the recording.
00:38:04I mean, I am answering you and what am I doing?
00:38:07I am answering your questions.
00:38:10If you do not let me talk, then what is the point of talking?
00:38:13Okay, you answer. Do not get angry.
00:38:15I am not getting angry. You are interrupting.
00:38:18No problem. I am also talking in a very relaxed and low tone.
00:38:21You can also talk like this.
00:38:23Okay, you do not talk to me.
00:38:25Mr. Minister, we want to talk. We want to take your opinion.
00:38:29You continue.
00:38:31You asked me a question and I am answering.
00:38:33Yes, answer.
00:38:35It is a conversation. Please go ahead.
00:38:37No, I do not want to go ahead.
00:38:39Why should I go ahead?
00:38:40Am I your TV employee?
00:38:41You do your program and keep talking against us.
00:38:43You are Mushire-e-Talat.
00:38:45This is not a gathering in which you will give a speech.
00:38:47We will ask questions. We will interrupt.
00:38:49You answer.
00:38:51If you do not like the question, then that might be something else.
00:38:53We cannot ask a question of your choice.
00:38:55And secondly, I mean, it is a morning show.
00:39:01You are supposed to answer.
00:39:03That is fine. Just move on. You answer.
00:39:05Yes.
00:39:07He did not want to answer.
00:39:09Oh God!
00:39:11We wanted to ask this question to Mr. Benifit Saif.
00:39:13He was interrupted.
00:39:15Anyway, it is the job of a journalist to ask questions.
00:39:17And we were asking questions to him.
00:39:19The entire time was for him.
00:39:21All the conversations that were supposed to be in our segment,
00:39:23there was no other person.
00:39:25So, the question was also related to his statement.
00:39:27And secondly, this is a conversation.
00:39:29I mean, what happens in talk shows is a conversation.
00:39:31You say something.
00:39:33You can ask a question.
00:39:35This is not a talk show
00:39:37where the speech is uninterrupted.
00:39:39So, I think you should be patient.
00:39:41And Mr. Barrister
00:39:43keeps coming to our show.
00:39:45I wonder what happened today.
00:39:47Anyway, let us move forward.
00:39:49What do we have here?
00:39:51Let us move on.
00:39:53The political heat
00:39:55has reached our morning show.
00:39:57Let us try to deflect it.
00:39:59The thing is that
00:40:01our country is facing
00:40:03economic problems.
00:40:05The IMF executive board
00:40:07has not been sorted yet.
00:40:09In July, the staff level agreement was signed.
00:40:11The executive board is in place.
00:40:13Economic and political problems are in place.
00:40:15The unity that is needed
00:40:17is not visible.
00:40:19The month of September
00:40:21teaches us that we should be united.
00:40:23Plus, the moral values
00:40:25that we saw in the beginning
00:40:27of the show,
00:40:29such as justice,
00:40:31even if it is a non-league or
00:40:33the movement for justice.
00:40:35If you have a position
00:40:37related to the media,
00:40:39just be patient with journalists.
00:40:41Let us take a break.
00:40:45In the name of Allah,
00:40:47Peace be upon you.
00:40:49Once again,
00:40:51you are the anchor person
00:40:53for all of us.
00:40:57Thank you for being with us.
00:41:01How are you, Sadaf Abdul Zubair?
00:41:03Alhamdulillah.
00:41:05How is the weather like today?
00:41:07The weather is good.
00:41:09We were worried
00:41:11that it would get hot in September
00:41:13or October.
00:41:15But it did not happen.
00:41:17This is a good thing.
00:41:19Let us talk about
00:41:21what is happening in cricket.
00:41:23Apart from cricket,
00:41:25there is a lot going on in Pakistan.
00:41:27Let us talk about it.
00:41:29Do you remember
00:41:31how Arshad Nadeem
00:41:33made Pakistan proud in the
00:41:35Paris Olympics?
00:41:37He also made a record
00:41:39and won a gold medal.
00:41:41Now, there are Paralympics
00:41:43in Paris.
00:41:45Our athlete,
00:41:47Haider,
00:41:49won a bronze medal
00:41:51in the Paralympics
00:41:53Interestingly,
00:41:55Haider was the only
00:41:57athlete in Pakistan
00:41:59to throw a 52.54 meter
00:42:01throw in the final.
00:42:05Haider was in the first position
00:42:07for the first two rounds.
00:42:09But he was fouled
00:42:11after four throws.
00:42:13Haider was in the first position
00:42:15for the first two rounds.
00:42:17But he was fouled
00:42:19after four throws.
00:42:21Pakistan's athlete
00:42:23threw a 57.28 meter throw
00:42:25and Canada's athlete
00:42:27threw a 53.24 meter throw.
00:42:29We will tell you
00:42:31the name of the athlete
00:42:33later.
00:42:35Otherwise, he will feel bad.
00:42:37His name is
00:42:39Toliboy Yildizhev.
00:42:43Where was he from in Turkey?
00:42:45He was from Uzbekistan.
00:42:47His name was Turkish.
00:42:49The viewership of this show
00:42:51is due to his name
00:42:53and Sadaf Abdul Jabbar.
00:42:55Canada's athlete
00:42:57was Jesse Zissou.
00:42:59He threw a 53.24 meter throw.
00:43:01Haider Ali
00:43:03won the first gold medal
00:43:05in the Tokyo Paralympics
00:43:07for Pakistan.
00:43:09Haider Ali won the fifth
00:43:11Paralympic Games.
00:43:13Before that, he won a gold medal
00:43:15for Pakistan.
00:43:17Rana Mashood,
00:43:19chairman of the
00:43:21Prime Minister's Youth Program,
00:43:23met with
00:43:25Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
00:43:27and told him
00:43:29that he will meet
00:43:31Haider Ali.
00:43:33He told him that
00:43:35national athletes
00:43:37have made Pakistan proud.
00:43:39He said that
00:43:41international athletes
00:43:43have made Pakistan proud.
00:43:45Do you remember
00:43:47Arshad Nadeem's statement
00:43:49that he is your vision?
00:43:51We were watching him
00:43:53at that time.
00:43:55Rana Mashood
00:43:57is the chairman
00:43:59of the Youth Program.
00:44:01Let's talk to Haider Ali
00:44:03who is with us now.
00:44:05Tell us about
00:44:07your journey.
00:44:09What challenges did you face?
00:44:11Assalam-o-Alaikum.
00:44:13My final competition
00:44:15was
00:44:17that I qualified
00:44:19for the
00:44:21Paralympics.
00:44:23Qualification rounds
00:44:25are held
00:44:27in different regions
00:44:29like Asia,
00:44:31Africa,
00:44:33Europe,
00:44:35Australia.
00:44:37The boy who qualifies
00:44:39in the top 10
00:44:41or top 15
00:44:43in the world rankings
00:44:45gets an entry
00:44:47to the Paralympics.
00:44:49The competition
00:44:51was tough.
00:44:5310-15 boys were selected.
00:44:55The top 10
00:44:57were selected
00:44:59from 200 countries.
00:45:01My opponents
00:45:03were Uzbekistan
00:45:05and Canada.
00:45:07The boys from
00:45:09Ukraine and Australia
00:45:11were better than me.
00:45:13Let's talk about
00:45:15your final competition.
00:45:17Four of your throws
00:45:19were fouled.
00:45:21What was your
00:45:23journey like?
00:45:25What was the pressure?
00:45:27I had
00:45:29a lot of technical
00:45:31issues.
00:45:33The reason was
00:45:35that the pit
00:45:37from where I was
00:45:39throwing
00:45:41was the latest pit.
00:45:43My foot was
00:45:45moving properly.
00:45:47But when I trained
00:45:49in PSB,
00:45:51it was a very old pit.
00:45:53It was 20 years old.
00:45:55The cement
00:45:57on the top
00:45:59of the pit
00:46:01was rotten.
00:46:03I trained here
00:46:05for about a month.
00:46:07Then I trained in Gujranwala
00:46:09for 6 months.
00:46:11I got the pit
00:46:13built by myself.
00:46:15It was not
00:46:17a standard pit.
00:46:19When I trained
00:46:21here,
00:46:23I got used to it.
00:46:25The pit was slow
00:46:27and I got it built
00:46:29fast.
00:46:31That's why I got fouled.
00:46:33My teammates
00:46:35from Uzbekistan
00:46:37and Canada
00:46:39train in Europe.
00:46:41Their sectors are the same.
00:46:43They don't have a problem
00:46:45competing there.
00:46:47I had a big problem
00:46:49because I didn't know
00:46:51about that sector.
00:46:53I trained a few throws,
00:46:55but I didn't know.
00:46:57That's a big problem.
00:46:59Paralympics is very right.
00:47:01You have to spin
00:47:03and throw.
00:47:05You explained it beautifully.
00:47:07Small details matter.
00:47:09In Paralympics,
00:47:11you represented Pakistan.
00:47:13Did you have any pressure
00:47:15to win medals?
00:47:17Do all eyes
00:47:19focus on one athlete?
00:47:23Yes.
00:47:25I won a gold medal
00:47:27in Paralympics.
00:47:29I had to defend my medal.
00:47:31When Arshad Bhai
00:47:33won a gold medal
00:47:35in Paralympics,
00:47:37my focus
00:47:39was on me.
00:47:41I qualified
00:47:43in Paralympics alone.
00:47:45I was confident
00:47:47that I would win a medal.
00:47:49I felt that
00:47:51all eyes
00:47:53were on me.
00:47:55I had to perform.
00:47:57That's why I had
00:47:59a lot of pressure.
00:48:01You mentioned that
00:48:03the rest of the team
00:48:05trains in Europe.
00:48:07Arshad Nadeem
00:48:09trained rigorously.
00:48:11We have a lot of raw talent,
00:48:13but training
00:48:15polishes your skills.
00:48:17Did you train in Pakistan?
00:48:19What facilities did the board
00:48:21send you?
00:48:23No.
00:48:25I didn't get training.
00:48:27Pakistan sports board
00:48:29trained me for 15 days.
00:48:31I trained for 5-6 months
00:48:33in Abai city,
00:48:35Gujranwala.
00:48:37It was not
00:48:39a complete training.
00:48:41It was a private training
00:48:43where I trained
00:48:45on the bazaar.
00:48:49Before you
00:48:51started training,
00:48:53you had won medals
00:48:55in long jump.
00:48:57Why didn't you
00:48:59take interest in it?
00:49:01When I started
00:49:03my college life,
00:49:05I used to do decathlon.
00:49:07Long jump plus
00:49:09discus throw,
00:49:11short put,
00:49:13multi even.
00:49:15I started participating
00:49:17in long jump.
00:49:19My hamstring was
00:49:21pulled.
00:49:23I got treatment from
00:49:25London and China.
00:49:27My hamstring was not getting
00:49:29better.
00:49:31I was very worried.
00:49:33I trained discus throw
00:49:35for 6-7 years.
00:49:37I participated in Tokyo
00:49:39for the first time.
00:49:41I won gold there
00:49:43and now I won a bronze medal.
00:49:45I would like to know
00:49:47how did you
00:49:49receive Arshad's welcome
00:49:51and won a bronze medal?
00:49:53Medal is a medal.
00:49:55What was your expectation?
00:49:57What was the protocol?
00:49:59What was the welcome?
00:50:03When I came to Islamabad
00:50:05from Paris,
00:50:07Rana Mashood's team
00:50:09welcomed me.
00:50:11Pakistan sports board
00:50:13welcomed me.
00:50:15But the welcome was not
00:50:17what it should have been.
00:50:19Media coverage was
00:50:21very less.
00:50:23I don't think
00:50:25your achievement
00:50:27and determination
00:50:29will reach the public.
00:50:31Thank you Haider.
00:50:33Keep making Pakistan proud.
00:50:35You have won gold.
00:50:37You will get space
00:50:39on social media.
00:50:41Let's move forward.
00:50:43Children
00:50:45who have toddlers
00:50:47and are learning to crawl
00:50:49have a lot of problems.
00:50:53Parents
00:50:55have no idea
00:50:57how to tackle
00:50:59the situation.
00:51:01Children are
00:51:03hyperactive.
00:51:05They have different age
00:51:07problems.
00:51:09When they start
00:51:11turning,
00:51:13they have problems
00:51:15with the bed.
00:51:17When they start
00:51:19crawling,
00:51:21they have problems
00:51:23with the switch.
00:51:25They are very curious.
00:51:27They use pacifiers
00:51:29and
00:51:31suck the thumb.
00:51:33They have
00:51:35a habit of chewing nails.
00:51:37This is common
00:51:39among children.
00:51:41What are the reasons?
00:51:43Is it due to age
00:51:45factor or
00:51:47psychological issue?
00:51:49We have
00:51:51a pediatric consultant
00:51:53Dr. Naheed.
00:51:55Thank you so much
00:51:57for joining us.
00:51:59Why do
00:52:01children have
00:52:03this habit?
00:52:05It is
00:52:07a normal thing.
00:52:09It is not a disease.
00:52:11It is a sucking reflex
00:52:13of the body.
00:52:15It develops
00:52:17before birth.
00:52:19It starts
00:52:21after 20 weeks.
00:52:23Children have
00:52:25a thumb in their mouth.
00:52:27Thumbs
00:52:29or fingers
00:52:31are born like this.
00:52:33This is normal
00:52:35for a baby.
00:52:37It is normal for a baby
00:52:39to suck their thumb or finger.
00:52:41But after a certain age,
00:52:43it persists.
00:52:45Otherwise,
00:52:47this thumb sucking
00:52:49stops after 6-7 months.
00:52:51Children
00:52:53do this to satisfy
00:52:55themselves,
00:52:57to calm down,
00:52:59to get rid of anxiety.
00:53:01Especially,
00:53:03children who are
00:53:05not very attentive
00:53:07develop this factor.
00:53:09Children who drink
00:53:11their mother's milk
00:53:13do not have this problem.
00:53:15After 1-1.5 hours,
00:53:17a mother picks up a child,
00:53:19hugs him,
00:53:21talks to him,
00:53:23talks to him,
00:53:25talks to him,
00:53:27talks to him,
00:53:29talks to him,
00:53:31talks to him.
00:53:33Children who lose
00:53:35their feeding time
00:53:37become restless.
00:53:39How can they
00:53:41express their worries?
00:53:43After some time,
00:53:45they quench this thirst
00:53:47and make
00:53:49themselves rest.
00:53:51Just like a thumb,
00:53:53a child gets rhythmic motions
00:53:55which gives a child
00:53:57There is a big way to release the anxiety.
00:53:59The child takes it and wraps his fingers in his mouth for a while.
00:54:04And he goes to sleep in a lullaby.
00:54:06But at what age does it start looking abnormal?
00:54:10And how do we get rid of it?
00:54:12This has happened now.
00:54:14We have accepted that it is a natural process.
00:54:18You don't have to interfere in it.
00:54:20When the child puts his thumb in his mouth,
00:54:24you shouldn't take it out again and again.
00:54:26You shouldn't take it out again and again.
00:54:30You should praise the child and take out his hand.
00:54:33You should take care of the duration of his eating.
00:54:36And this will gradually go away in six to seven months.
00:54:41Some people try to apply some bitter things.
00:54:46When the child grows up, after two years,
00:54:50you start to worry that he has grown up.
00:54:53It doesn't last for two years.
00:54:55Actually, it takes three to four years
00:54:57for the thumb sucking to go away spontaneously.
00:55:01After five years, it's a bad time to address this nail by thumb sucking.
00:55:06The first thing to do is to keep his hands busy.
00:55:11First, keep his hands busy so that the hand doesn't go into his mouth.
00:55:14Give him some toys.
00:55:15Hold some balls in his hands.
00:55:17The child will be busy with it.
00:55:19There are two things for small children and two things for big children.
00:55:22Some people apply things that have a bad taste.
00:55:26Some people apply home remedies.
00:55:28Some people make a paste of garlic and clove and apply it on his nails.
00:55:33If the child doesn't like the smell, he doesn't take his hand in his mouth.
00:55:36Some people apply very bright colors on his nails.
00:55:42The child will keep looking at the bright colors.
00:55:46The child will hesitate. He doesn't want to put his thumb inside his mouth.
00:55:50He doesn't like it.
00:55:51Does Pacifier help?
00:55:53Pacifier helps.
00:55:54If you're inquiring about which one is better,
00:55:58I think you should go to a Pacifier.
00:56:00It's easy to make Pacifiers laugh.
00:56:03If the child is seven or eight years old,
00:56:06and it's still not going away,
00:56:07you can apply some nail polishes.
00:56:09They have a very bitter taste.
00:56:11If you apply them, it has a bitter taste.
00:56:16Another thing is that some people get anxious and bite their nails.
00:56:21I know some people who have hardly ever cut their nails with a nail cutter.
00:56:27Exactly.
00:56:29They bite their nails.
00:56:31You're right.
00:56:31If you cut your nails, they won't bite.
00:56:36The child has already bitten his nails.
00:56:39The most common cause of nail biting is anxiety.
00:56:44Anxiety and a lack of understanding
00:56:48can disturb the child's emotions.
00:56:53When the child feels lonely,
00:56:55when he feels that there's no one around him who can save him,
00:57:01he takes his hand in his mouth to adjust and starts biting his nails.
00:57:06That makes him feel secure.
00:57:09He thinks that he has something and no one can see him.
00:57:12He feels secure.
00:57:13But that's not the case.
00:57:15The only way to stop nail biting is through thumb sucking.
00:57:20Thumb sucking is spontaneous and can be stopped in 2-3 years.
00:57:25But you have to do something to stop nail biting.
00:57:28Especially when you have permanent teeth,
00:57:31nail biting becomes a bigger problem.
00:57:33While nail biting, there's a loss of nails and a loss of teeth.
00:57:38It's very unhealthy.
00:57:39It's unhealthy and the structure of your teeth is deteriorating.
00:57:44When you put your thumb on your palate,
00:57:47the quality of your voice is deteriorating.
00:57:50You're not getting the clarity of your voice.
00:57:54There's a difference in your speech.
00:57:56Your jaw has deteriorated.
00:57:57Your jaw has deteriorated and your bite has deteriorated.
00:58:00Your face has deteriorated.
00:58:01Now, you need orthodontics.
00:58:05When it comes to your hands, you have to cut your nails
00:58:09and remove the nail bed from your hands.
00:58:12You don't have any nail polish left.
00:58:14Especially in your adult age, when you couldn't do it.
00:58:17You couldn't sort it out in your childhood.
00:58:20What do you do now?
00:58:21Now, there are certain things that we apply.
00:58:25For example, we apply nail polish.
00:58:29We apply bitter nail polish.
00:58:31It's so bitter that you can't even put it on your face.
00:58:33Even if you put it on your face, it will come out of your mouth.
00:58:37If it touches your mouth,
00:58:39your mouth will feel bitter for a long time
00:58:43and you won't be able to swallow it.
00:58:44This is a good tool that helps in removing it.
00:58:47There are finger guards that are made with your hands.
00:58:51Let's leave all these things aside.
00:58:52The real thing is spending time with your child.
00:58:56Diverting their attention and forcing their skills.
00:59:01The use of your hands and your mouth should change.
00:59:05If you get busy with your hands,
00:59:08give them toys that they can make and break.
00:59:10Focus their attention on that.
00:59:13For the use of the mouth,
00:59:14the role of the big child, like Twingums,
00:59:17is that they divert their bites in this direction
00:59:20and the hand can't go in that direction.
00:59:22This has a big role.
00:59:23You scold the adults.
00:59:25You put a hand on them and say,
00:59:27it's enough, you're an adult now. Stop doing that.
00:59:30Yes, but they say, don't scold them.
00:59:33Don't scold them. Change it to a positive phrase.
00:59:37If they don't do it, praise them.
00:59:39You haven't taken it in three hours,
00:59:40your hands should clap for you.
00:59:42This is a style of parenting.
00:59:44Nowadays, it is taught not to beat children.
00:59:48Our parents used to call us,
00:59:51tell the truth, I won't say anything.
00:59:53And then they would punish us for telling the truth.
00:59:55You don't have to beat them, just remind them.
00:59:58Exactly, this is the thing.
00:59:59This is a code, what she said.
01:00:01This is a code. You have to develop this code.
01:00:03If a mother gives you a sign from a distance,
01:00:05it means that you have to leave her.
01:00:08Some people come and pat you and say,
01:00:09take your hand out of your mouth.
01:00:11Instead of this, you should scold them,
01:00:13criticise them, get angry.
01:00:15They won't go away.
01:00:16Communicate to them what the harm is.
01:00:17What the harm is.
01:00:19You have to tell them, look, this is for your health.
01:00:22If you go out, the school people,
01:00:24class fellows, your mates will see your hand.
01:00:26Your hands look so bad.
01:00:28Leave this, don't do this.
01:00:30This is important.
01:00:31Thank you so much.
01:00:32Thank you so much, Dr. Naveed and Dr. Sheetal.
01:00:34You explained it in detail.
01:00:36Obviously, this is a big cake.
01:00:38Your personality is based on your hands.
01:00:40The cleaner and better your hands are,
01:00:42the trimmed your nails are,
01:00:44the more they will add on to your personality.
01:00:46So, take care of that too.
01:00:47Especially, don't talk to elders.
01:00:49Let's take a break.
01:00:56Welcome back.
01:00:57We will share a few updates.
01:00:59In Karachi's Orangi Town, Sector 9E,
01:01:02police have arrested seven people,
01:01:05including three injured people.
01:01:08Abdul Khan will give more details.
01:01:10Yes, tell us.
01:01:15Yes, Afzal, can you hear us?
01:01:17Tell us the details.
01:01:19In Orangi Town, Sector 9E,
01:01:21there was a gang of seven people
01:01:23who were present there to close the case.
01:01:26During this time, the police arrived here
01:01:28and there was a exchange of firing between the police and the accused.
01:01:31As a result, three accused were injured
01:01:34and four of their accomplices were arrested.
01:01:37After arresting these seven accused,
01:01:40the injured accused were taken to the hospital
01:01:42and the other four accused were taken to the police station.
01:01:45The police say that they obtained
01:01:47illegal weapons, stolen mobile phones and money.
01:01:51The police also seized their motorcycles.
01:01:55The police say that a legal action is being taken against them
01:01:58and their criminal record is also being obtained.
01:02:01Okay, thank you very much, Afzal.
01:02:15Okay, so the Champions One Day Cup is taking place in Pakistan
01:02:20and preparations are in full swing.
01:02:22The preparations of the teams are also in full swing.
01:02:24And basically, in the practice match,
01:02:28the Stallions defeated the Lions by 243 runs.
01:02:31They lost by a large margin.
01:02:33And the tournament will start on Friday night with the match between the Wolves and the Panthers.
01:02:36This is not a return to cricket in Faisalabad.
01:02:40This is a turnover of the situation in the cricket fields
01:02:45that we are going through in the whole country.
01:02:48Because if you talk about all three formats of Pakistan,
01:02:51there is One Day, T20, Test,
01:02:54the performance of our team has hurt everyone.
01:02:57So when we talk about cricket, it hurts us a lot.
01:02:59And even if you talk about Pakistan's loss to Afghanistan on Monday,
01:03:04we lost to America in T20.
01:03:06And we lost not once, but twice.
01:03:07Even in Superover.
01:03:09And then the Test series in Pakistan.
01:03:11From Bangladesh.
01:03:11You can see what we did in that.
01:03:13So in cricket, it is obvious that there is a need for improvement.
01:03:17There is a need for improvement from the grassroots level.
01:03:19There is a need to bring new talent forward.
01:03:21There is a need to polish the existing talent.
01:03:23And God knows what else is needed.
01:03:25This is the reason that the Champions Cup is going on.
01:03:28The Champions One Day Cup is being held.
01:03:30This is also the reason why it is being held.
01:03:32So that the problems can be solved.
01:03:36The performance of the players can be improved.
01:03:38The Cricket Board has decided that we will improve domestic cricket.
01:03:42And the Champions Cup One Day Tournament started on Thursday.
01:03:46And the PCB thinks that the tournament will be a game-changer.
01:03:51So this is a big bold step in this regard.
01:03:54And for this tournament, five players have been appointed as mentors.
01:03:57These are the players of Pakistan.
01:03:59Shoaib Malik is one of them.
01:04:01All the players of Pakistan know him.
01:04:04And he is a fan of his performance.
01:04:06He is also a former captain.
01:04:07So we will talk to him in the program today.
01:04:09How much will this position as a mentor help our team?
01:04:14I don't know what are the problems of our team.
01:04:17It seems that we have forgotten the game awareness.
01:04:19Sometimes we feel that there is no unity in the team.
01:04:22We see the body language differently in the field.
01:04:25The captain is constantly changing.
01:04:27There are problems of fitness in the team.
01:04:29So why is this?
01:04:30And what betterment can we expect from this tournament?
01:04:33We have with us Mr. Shoaib Malik.
01:04:35He is not a player, but he is a mentor of the team.
01:04:39Let's talk to him. He is with us directly from Faisalabad.
01:04:41Thank you so much.
01:04:42Shoaib Malik, can you hear us?
01:04:46Can you hear us, Shoaib Malik?
01:04:51Yes.
01:04:52Okay.
01:04:54We will try to solve the audio problem.
01:04:56So that we can connect with you.
01:04:58So that we can know if there is room for improvement in Pakistan cricket.
01:05:02Is it real or what level of surgery should be done?
01:05:04And how will this tournament play out?
01:05:06It is a part of that surgery as well.
01:05:08Let's talk about it after the break.
01:05:16We will talk to you again after the break.
01:05:19We will talk about how cricket can be revamped.
01:05:22So this is a one-day tournament.
01:05:23Champions Cup one-day tournament.
01:05:25It will start in Faisalabad on Thursday.
01:05:27We had mentioned to Mr. Shoaib Malik that he will join us.
01:05:29He is a mentor of the team.
01:05:30He has joined us.
01:05:32Shoaib, thank you so much for joining us.
01:05:33And a very good morning to you.
01:05:35You are with us directly from Faisalabad.
01:05:37So one thing is that why are you mentoring this?
01:05:42Why aren't you playing?
01:05:43We give examples of your fitness.
01:05:47What is the reason for this?
01:05:47I have already taken retirement from Test cricket and one-day cricket.
01:05:55Okay.
01:05:56I play T20 and this Champions Cup is going to be a one-day tournament.
01:06:01So there is no purpose in a one-day tournament.
01:06:04And if I play, it will go to someone's right.
01:06:09And I don't even play this format.
01:06:11So there is no logic in it.
01:06:13And if someone like me plays, it will create an opportunity for a youngster.
01:06:21A youngster who can play for 10-15 years in the Pakistani team.
01:06:25But Shoaib, the problem is that the team is playing in any format.
01:06:30Mutubadil is not a player.
01:06:32And the team is not able to perform.
01:06:34One-day, Test, T20.
01:06:36So the reason for this championship is the same.
01:06:40PCP is saying that it will be a game-changer.
01:06:43Our players are not able to perform.
01:06:45What is your assessment of this?
01:06:47Why is this happening?
01:06:48We are continuously seeing defeats after defeats in any format.
01:06:53It's not that the players are not able to perform.
01:06:57The performances are coming.
01:06:59But it's not a united performance where you cross the finishing line.
01:07:06So that is a small thing.
01:07:08But there is always a room to learn.
01:07:12And such things happen.
01:07:15It's a bad time right now.
01:07:16But this is the purpose of such tournaments.
01:07:20Champions Tournaments.
01:07:22Where all the players of the Pakistan cricket team are from our Shaheen team.
01:07:27We call it A-Team.
01:07:29And there are under-19s below them.
01:07:31And there are a lot of guys who are under-23.
01:07:34So it will be a good combination.
01:07:36I feel that when our new product is played by the Pakistan cricket team...
01:07:41...there are two or three things that are missing or less.
01:07:45There is professionalism, physical fitness, game awareness.
01:07:50So there are such things that require a lot of work.
01:07:54And if you want consistent results...
01:07:57...then when your new product is played by the Pakistan cricket team...
01:08:00...which we call newcomers...
01:08:02...you see a lot of flaws in it.
01:08:06If you want to compete at a higher level...
01:08:09...then I feel that the exposure is not there.
01:08:12So that is why such tournaments are held where past mentors are kept.
01:08:17What is your personal assessment from this perspective?
01:08:19We give you examples of fitness.
01:08:22There are players and athletes in the world.
01:08:24They are given examples and you are still...
01:08:26...and before this, you have always been fit.
01:08:29Now there are so many coaches, money has been involved.
01:08:34There are so many facilities.
01:08:36Your nutrition is taken care of.
01:08:38So fitness is the basic thing.
01:08:40So is this a person-specific issue...
01:08:42...or is it the overall culture of the team that needs to be improved?
01:08:46Look, this is overall such a thing.
01:08:49These are not just players of the Pakistan cricket team.
01:08:51When people start playing cricket from below...
01:08:54...then they need to be given awareness.
01:09:00Look, bring as many good coaches as you want.
01:09:02Bring as many good supporting staff as you want.
01:09:06But if I don't want to improve myself...
01:09:10...if I don't want to learn things myself...
01:09:13...then it becomes very difficult.
01:09:14Look, you get all the information.
01:09:19I feel that a disciplined life...
01:09:22...if you spend a disciplined life for one day...
01:09:25...and if you don't spend the remaining three days...
01:09:26...then you never get consistent results.
01:09:29You don't perform consistently in your profession.
01:09:32So I feel that the word professionalism...
01:09:35...can fix everything.
01:09:38If I know that this is my diet...
01:09:40...and I have to recover like this...
01:09:42...if I have to eat something before the match...
01:09:45...then all these things...
01:09:47...that's why our trainers are with them...
01:09:50...they are also nutritionists.
01:09:52There are many such people, especially in my team.
01:09:55So they will give them all the guidance.
01:09:57And they are giving it so that they get to know.
01:10:00One more thing, in cricket...
01:10:02...what is the role of a mentor?
01:10:06What is the guidance? What is the mindset?
01:10:09What is coaching?
01:10:13Mentors have a complete package.
01:10:16We have to tell them what we have learnt in life.
01:10:23The supporting staff...
01:10:25...in that, you are telling them...
01:10:28...and they are training them.
01:10:31They are sharing things with them.
01:10:33And you are continuously providing opportunities.
01:10:36For example, 35 players are under one mentor.
01:10:41There are also under-19s, under-23s...
01:10:44...shrine players and Pakistan team players.
01:10:47So the whole team is under one mentor.
01:10:53So the players will get this guidance...
01:10:58...and they will get it consistently.
01:11:00And they will be kept an eye on the whole year.
01:11:03Whether it's a player from the Pakistan team...
01:11:06...or a regional cricketer...
01:11:07...or a departmental cricketer.
01:11:09So the cricketers, like the under-19s...
01:11:13...they will be kept an eye on.
01:11:14And they will be assessed...
01:11:18...to see what is missing...
01:11:20...and they will be groomed accordingly.
01:11:22So that they can get consistency in their performance.
01:11:25Shoaib, in our department...
01:11:27...as you said yourself...
01:11:30...our patch is not good.
01:11:33Our performance is not good in any department.
01:11:35Whether we talk about fielders or bowlers.
01:11:38But our batting lineup has always been a problem.
01:11:42So what do you expect from this tournament?
01:11:45Who should we focus more on?
01:11:47Bowlers, batters...
01:11:49...or should we focus more on our batting lineup?
01:11:55In all three departments...
01:11:57...you will have to see which players...
01:11:59...can play for the Pakistan team.
01:12:02Which players can be groomed to play.
01:12:07So you will have to see these tournaments.
01:12:11We just played one practice match.
01:12:15There are many glimpses...
01:12:18...in some cricketers...
01:12:19...that we can groom them...
01:12:23...to play for the Pakistan team.
01:12:26So we need players in all three departments.
01:12:29You should have a pool of players.
01:12:31The more cricketers there are...
01:12:34...batsmen and batters can play in three formats.
01:12:38But it is very difficult for pace bowlers...
01:12:40...to play in all three formats.
01:12:42With the same intensity.
01:12:44Their workload is very high.
01:12:47That's why I think...
01:12:49...our pace bowlers come down.
01:12:51Because they play continuously.
01:12:53There is no recovery time.
01:12:55There is no such thing.
01:12:56So I think...
01:12:58...we will have to find a pool of players.
01:13:01Especially your pacers.
01:13:02You will need 10-15 pacers...
01:13:05...who can play in different formats throughout the year.
01:13:07There was a podcast...
01:13:09...in which I heard Salman Butt...
01:13:11...saying that Irfan...
01:13:13...the way he managed his workload...
01:13:16...is very important.
01:13:18Tell me one thing.
01:13:19You said that consistency is very important.
01:13:23The board has a chairman, Rameez Raja.
01:13:27He was a mentor in the Junior Pakistan League.
01:13:30He was only an addition.
01:13:31He had less revenue and more losses.
01:13:34So how important is consistency?
01:13:37Mr. Malik.
01:13:39Consistency is very important.
01:13:42That's why the mentors we have...
01:13:45...have come for three years.
01:13:47And our contract is for three years.
01:13:50And the same goes for the players as well.
01:13:54If there are new players, they will be added.
01:13:59But this is a three-year plan.
01:14:01And I think...
01:14:03...there should be a lot of improvement in three years.
01:14:08If we consistently follow the same plan for three years...
01:14:14...I hope we will have a lot of consistency.
01:14:18We will have a lot of players.
01:14:20One thing is that...
01:14:21...our domestic season...
01:14:25...will be fit in with the three tournaments.
01:14:28So we will have to sit and work on that.
01:14:31Because if there is only domestic cricket throughout the year...
01:14:36...when will the players get time?
01:14:38Especially when we talk about physical fitness.
01:14:41You will have to set up camps for physical fitness.
01:14:43You will have to physically fit them.
01:14:46You will have to train them well.
01:14:49So for that, you need gaps where you can do that.
01:14:53Right now, throughout the year, it's cricket.
01:14:55After that, it's departmental and regional cricket.
01:14:59So it's cricket throughout the year.
01:15:01So we will set up camps in between...
01:15:04...where you don't just give them physical fitness.
01:15:07You also give them awareness...
01:15:10...that in a professional athlete's life...
01:15:13...discipline is very important...
01:15:15...to get consistent results.
01:15:17I would like to talk about the timing, Shoaib.
01:15:20In terms of the tournament...
01:15:22...we just played a test series against Bangladesh.
01:15:24In October, we will play three matches against England.
01:15:27Is this tournament ideal in terms of timings?
01:15:32And why was it decided?
01:15:35If you take my personal opinion...
01:15:38...I used to think that this is a bonded tournament.
01:15:41You should have played four-day cricket here.
01:15:44Because you played two test matches.
01:15:46Then you had a gap.
01:15:48Then you had a test match against England on October 7th.
01:15:52So the format you are going to play...
01:15:56...that format is being used in your domestic cricket.
01:16:01For example, the England team or the Bangladesh team...
01:16:05...came to play a test series.
01:16:06So in our domestic cricket in Pakistan...
01:16:09...we should have played four-day cricket.
01:16:12But this was already planned.
01:16:15That's why we had a one-day tournament.
01:16:17But if you ask me...
01:16:19...in this one-day tournament...
01:16:23...we should have played four-day cricket.
01:16:26But the schedule was already set.
01:16:29That's why we had to execute this one-day tournament.
01:16:33But in the near future...
01:16:36...everyone will sit down.
01:16:38And the international teams of the Pakistan cricket team...
01:16:42...or the international teams coming to Pakistan till 2027...
01:16:47...all of them have been finalized.
01:16:49So we will all sit down.
01:16:51And let's suppose...
01:16:53...if the Pakistan team is coming to play a one-day tournament...
01:16:57...then the one-day tournament will be going on.
01:16:59So that we are on the same page.
01:17:03And when our players are playing a series...
01:17:06...against any team or when a team is coming to Pakistan...
01:17:08...then all those things should go on accordingly.
01:17:11The format they are playing...
01:17:14...the same thing will be going on in your domestic team.
01:17:16One last thing.
01:17:18The process of scouting talent is obvious.
01:17:21You are in Faisalabad right now.
01:17:23It's very hot there.
01:17:24The talent that comes from far away places...
01:17:26...like pacers or batsmen...
01:17:29...in many places there are no living facilities.
01:17:32For those people who go there and hunt talent.
01:17:35So does this make this process difficult?
01:17:37Or is it still being done as vigorously as it should be?
01:17:42Look, it is definitely being done.
01:17:44If we go back a little bit...
01:17:47...we used to talk about one thing...
01:17:48...that our National Cricket Academy is only in Lahore.
01:17:52But now if you talk about Karachi...
01:17:55...Siyalpur, Faisalabad...
01:17:57...or Pindi...
01:17:59...high performance centres are being set up everywhere.
01:18:05So opportunities are everywhere for talent.
01:18:10And look, there is a little bit of difficulty.
01:18:13If you want to achieve something...
01:18:15...if you want to be consistent in your profession...
01:18:17...then it's not possible that...
01:18:19...you go out and you are successful.
01:18:22You have to struggle a little bit.
01:18:25And that struggle makes you a strong-willed person.
01:18:29You have to work hard.
01:18:31If I have a tough time, I will deal with it.
01:18:35Okay. Thank you so much, Mr. Malik.
01:18:37And I hope that in your mentorship...
01:18:40...we see that the talent is discovered...
01:18:43...and the team can do something better.
01:18:44And then there is a better view in cricket.
01:18:46Let's hope for the best.
01:18:47And the second thing is that...
01:18:49...there should be a better belief...
01:18:51...that there should be consistency.
01:18:52If we are talking about 3 years, then it should be for 3 years.
01:18:54It shouldn't be like the Junior Pakistan League...
01:18:56...which ends in a year.
01:18:58Okay. With this hope that there will be improvement...
01:19:00...we would like to take your leave.
01:19:01Take care of yourself.
01:19:02Allah Hafiz.
