00:00There was a firing of gunfire and the arrest of a man in Ermita, Manila, who was identified by a police officer who was involved in a brawl.

00:32A man tried to hide a gun that he used to shoot at Ermeta Manila this Tuesday night in the vehicle's suspension.

00:42The suspect is Sarawawol, or absent without official leave, a former member of the PNP Special Action Force.

00:50He is currently working as a caretaker of a property.

00:54According to the police, the people of the barangay go around when they hear a gunshot.

01:00There is a concerted set here, where the gunshot came from.

01:04And when they went to the location, they saw an individual holding a gun and shooting one after another.

01:13More than 20 police, including SWAT, arrived at the scene.

01:17But they did not immediately open the gate.

01:20And another caretaker was the one who insisted on going to the police.

01:24It took another hour before the local authorities were able to enter.

01:28According to the police, they were able to reach the suspect who was sleeping in one of the barracks.

01:34Later, they were able to see several barrels of bullets until they were able to find the gun that was hidden.

01:39The gun that was recovered from him was a .45 caliber pistol.

01:49We brought it to the MPD Forensic Unit to undergo a forensic examination.

01:56The two suspects were held by the Ermita Police Station.
