Nations across Southeast Asia are being inundated by heavy rains in the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi as the death toll from the storm continues to climb.

01:22Rescue efforts are ongoing, with thousands of residents living along the riverbank left

01:28For many in the rural areas, the storm damage is irreparable.

02:30The storm has now been downgraded to a tropical depression, but authorities are warning residents
02:35who are in its path to stay vigilant, with downpours continuing and rivers remaining
