Super Typhoon Yagi has made landfall in Vietnam, killing at least four people and injuring over 70. It's Asia most powerful storm this year, having left a trail of destruction in southern China and the Philippines.

00:58Vietnam is the third country to be hit by the super typhoon.
01:02Yagi's power peaked in China's Hainan, an island home to over 10 million, killing at
01:08least two people there and cutting power in over 800,000 homes.
01:13The storm had already left at least 16 people dead in the Philippines, the first country
01:19it hit, where residents are now trying to recover, cleaning away mud and debris from
01:24their homes.
01:28Here in Vietnam, people come out cautiously to gather bags of sand and brick to shield
01:33their homes from further damage.
01:35Authorities warn people to stay inside, as powerful winds are expected to continue as
01:40the storm moves inland and is forecast to move into neighboring Laos.
