00:00At the occasion of the release of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the museum of cinema and miniatures
00:11invites you to discover Tim Burton's new film in his new space, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,
00:17from the concept on the screen.
00:18Founded in 2005 by the miniaturist artist Dan Ullman, this space in the heart of the
00:26historic center of Lyon invites you to discover the backdrops of your favorite films.
00:30We wanted in the space to have the Beetlejuice of the time and the new Beetlejuice so that
00:35there is a continuation with the film that is currently being released.
00:38I think that what makes the success of Tim Burton's universe, in this case Beetlejuice,
00:42it's really the graphics.
00:44We recognize immediately the costumes, the Beetlejuice, the make-up, the universe in general.
00:48When we see the effects of the time, the little budget they had, they really gave everything
00:53and it really feels through the film.
00:55It's an exceptional film of inventiveness.
00:57We see the great director who prepares with Batman, with all his next films, and there are
01:01inventions as much as graphics of realization each time, so it's really a pure marvel, the film.
01:07The luck we had, it was thanks to the founder Dan Ullman 20 years ago who created this collection,
01:12who was one of the first, one of the precursors at the time.
01:14Thanks to that, we were able to make contacts all over the world and now we have very diverse objects.
01:19It goes from the Disney coxswain, through ... we have cars of films, we have costumes,
01:24we have giant animatronics of the alien kingdom, for example.
01:27So we really have all the objects that are linked to cinema.
01:31In fact, we are very, very few in the world to offer original objects of films so large,
01:37to archive these objects, to protect them and to value them.
01:42Visitors must be able to discover the length of the cinema set,
01:45live it a little in their own way, and that's why I try as much as possible to diversify
01:49the experiences within the museum.
01:51We often work with Wes Anderson, we really worked with Wes,
01:54who validated each step of the permanent space that he has.
01:57It's exceptional, it's the only museum in the world where Wes has his permanent space,
02:02where we expose almost all of his films in a space where it brings it all together.
02:07We have a lot of pieces from Steven Spielberg Museum and he is an essential director of cinema.
02:12So, not to say, I think he is one of the greatest geniuses of cinema.
02:16So I hope very soon to have Steven Spielberg Museum.
