00:00I think there was one time where he told me, parang nagtrabaho siya sa barko and then parang
00:09naghuhulik siya ng isda and he would live off the fish that he would catch.
00:14And like, parang medyo dream ko yun so yeah, parang that's pretty cool.
00:21I guess one really surprising thing is that he never really wanted to go into politics.
00:24He was really into mathematics, physics.
00:27He would have studied and probably would have wanted to like, that field rather than politics.
00:32Like, never went.
00:33He was either that or rockstar.
00:35So I think he got there eventually.
00:38I think it's no secret that I respect him hugely and I've learned so much from him and
00:43I continue to learn so much from him.
00:46If there's one important lesson that he taught me, I think it's that when you're facing a
00:53problem and you become or you get panicky and go in panic mode, he always says to go
00:59away and think first because whatever your first decision will be, will always probably
01:04not be the best one.
01:06And I've followed that to a T and I know it's the advice that his dad gave him.
01:13So I think that's the most useful thing or piece of advice that he's given me because
01:16it really has worked.
01:19Usually he tries to keep like one day of the week free, but his schedule is really hectic.
01:25So sometimes he'll just call us and say, hey, do you want to have dinner today or do you
01:31want to have lunch?
01:32Like, wherever he can fit it in.
01:35Mainly just to always partake in whatever new or whatever is in front of you.
01:40Just to always ask questions and to always learn.
01:42I think as a general rule, if you're on that path, you can't really go wrong.
01:48I think it's no secret, too, that we really do admire him and we respect him and everything
01:55that he's doing.
01:56I always tell him I don't envy his job with the problems that he's faced and the stress
02:01that comes with it.
02:03But we really appreciate that despite all of that, he's still able to make time for
02:07me, make time for my brothers, and of course, make time to take my mom out on date nights
02:14and keep her happy.
02:17Values, maybe in a general sense, I would say he's always taught me to lead by example.
02:22You know, you can tell somebody to do something.
02:24You can tell somebody this is how it should be done or this is how you should act.
02:29But I think the best way to teach somebody is just to do it yourself and then hope they
02:34take on that information.
02:36Well, I don't think I can tell you guys the funniest.
02:42Most memorable moments is there was this one time on a family trip, we all took a trip
02:46to Spain and we were there for maybe two weeks and my dad was driving the whole way
02:51through.
02:52And basically throughout that whole two week journey, we were treated to Sandra's house
02:56music and me and my father absolutely hate house.
03:01And I think after the first week and a half, it was just me and my dad, we were doing a
03:06trip to get some wine or get some wine, get some food.
03:09I put on my playlist and then we started playing blues and what was originally meant to be
03:13a 30 minute journey turned into an hour because we were enjoying the music.
03:18I mean, typically my dad's always working, but yeah, now that I think about it, I don't
03:23think I've ever seen him have a full day free.
03:27Usually he'll have either the morning free or the evening free.
03:31So if it's morning, then we'll do a sport like gym or shoot.
03:35If it's the evening, then we'll usually have dinner and then watch a movie.
03:40Go to space.
03:42It's both of our dreams, yeah, go to space.
03:47Happy birthday, Pop.
03:48Please don't get too stressed out.
03:51Try and find some free time to go camping or, I mean, camping might be hard now, but
03:56yeah, just wish you had more free time.
03:59Well, I think my biggest wish for my dad in general is just that he stays himself and
04:05that he stays the awesome guy, the awesome, cool, amazing parent that he's always been.
04:11As a father, I'm happy to see him kind of come into the role that he's always, you know,
04:17or always been working towards, you know, whether directly or not.
04:21And as a president, I'm just, I'm really happy to have him for our country.
04:26Economically, politically, I don't think I could choose anybody else aside from my father.
04:32Pop, happy, happy birthday.
04:34We all love you so much and I hope you know we always will be behind you 100%.
04:38Love you.
