00:00In Venezuela, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivan Gil, summoned the Ambassador of Spain
00:05in the country, Ramon Santos, to express the government's firm stance in the face of any
00:09interference.
00:10During an official communique, Gil assured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ambassador
00:16Santos to express the strong position of the Venezuelan government, which will not allow
00:20any interference by the government of Spain in matters that are the exclusive competence
00:26of Venezuelan men and women.
00:28The Venezuelan government will adopt the necessary measures within the framework of international
00:32law and the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace to protect its sovereignty.
00:42The Bolivarian National Armed Forces of Venezuela rejected the recent imposition of unilateral
00:47coercive measures by the United States on high-ranking Venezuelan officials.
00:51In response to the recent coercive measures, the Minister of Defense warned that the Bolivarian
00:56Armed Forces are unbreakable and will continue defending the democracy in Venezuela.
01:02In this sense, Padrino Lopez asserted that the members of the Ministry will remain faithful
01:06to the Venezuelan sovereignty.
01:08The Defense Minister assured that the agents of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces have
01:13no price and will remain united and on alert to defend their sovereignty.
01:24The Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela rejected the sanctions imposed against national
01:29government officials by the United States.
01:32On Friday, Washington sanctioned 16 officials, among them five magistrates of the Supreme
01:37Court and directors of the National Electoral Council, for allegedly obstructing the presidential
01:43voting process of July 28.
01:45In response, the President of the Supreme Court of Justice, Carizlia RodrĂguez, pointed
01:49out that this practice collides with the accepted principles of international law on self-determination
01:56and democracy.
01:57Furthermore, the TSG president reaffirmed that the entity has always been a promoter
02:03of peace in the country, whose decisions have been backed by the national legal system in
02:08order to warranty the tranquility of the nation.
02:15The President of the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela, Carizlia Beatriz RodrĂguez,
02:19offered statements in rejection of the sanctions imposed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control
02:24of the U.S. Treasury Department against Venezuelan individuals.
02:31The Supreme Court of Justice of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on behalf of the entire
02:36judiciary, once again repudiates the interfering action of the United States of America in
02:43the internal affairs of the republic by imposing unilateral and illegitimate and illegal coercive
02:53measures on 16 Venezuelan officials, among which are the magistrates Carizlia Beatriz
03:00Rodríguez Rodríguez, Fanny Beatriz Márquez Cordero, Inocencio Antonio Figueroa, Malakia
03:07Gil Rodríguez, and Juan Carlos Hidalgo Pandare, as well as Judge Eduardo Miguel Bristeño Cisneros.
03:16Furthermore, the head of the Venezuelan judiciary expressed her solidarity with the national
03:22public powers in the face of the imperial onslaught of the United States government.
03:27For this reason, the words of our libertador, SimĂłn BolĂvar, seem fitting, and I quote
03:35the United States seemed destined by providence to flag America with mysteries in the name of freedom.
03:42End of quote.
03:50Likewise, the judiciary expresses its solidarity with the other national public powers that
03:56today have been attacked and insulted by the imperial onslaught,
04:01ratifying its commitment to peace, sovereignty, and independence of our beloved Venezuela.
04:12The National Electoral Council of Venezuela, CNI, issued a statement to repudiate the act
04:18of interference committed by the government of the United States of America as it tries
04:23to point out and intimidate a group of Venezuelan public servants through illegal unilateral
04:29coercive measures.
04:30According to the statement, the electoral power of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
04:34repudiates the infamous act of interference committed by the government of the United
04:39States of America with which it is trying to point out and intimidate a group of Venezuelan
04:44public servants through illegal unilateral coercive measures promoted by criminal groups
04:49linked to terrorism, drug trafficking, and other crimes who have allied with you and
04:54other corrupt structures to finance operations against the Venezuelan electoral system and
04:59its members.
05:00Later on, the electoral authority stated that the United States of America has one of the
05:05most pathetic and obsolete electoral systems on the planet.
05:09For this reason, the U.S. government lacks the moral authority to evaluate and give its
05:14opinion on electoral issues, much less in Venezuela where there is an electoral system
05:19with the highest global standards.
05:21Attempting to blackmail the members of the National Electoral Council is a crude maneuver
05:26that has failed before.
05:28No illegal sanction against the institution has distanced it from its constitutional mandate.
05:34The Venezuelan electoral power is today firm, united, and stronger than ever.
05:38Finally, the communique ended by demanding that the government of the United States not
05:43to get involved in the internal affairs of the Venezuelan electoral power, and we urged
05:48it to dedicate itself to attend the internal affairs of its country, and ended by reminding
05:54that Venezuela is a sovereign country that only obeys the will of the people of the Bolivarian
05:59Republic of Venezuela.
06:08The National Assembly of Venezuela condemned and rejected through an official statement
06:12the unilateral and coercive measures announced against Venezuelan individuals by the United
06:17States government.
06:18According to the statement, the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns
06:23and rejects in the strongest terms the continuous and permanent aggression by the supremacist
06:28government of the United States of America, this time by imposing unilateral coercive
06:33measures against dignified and courageous Venezuelan public servants, such as the first
06:38Vice President of the National Assembly, Deputy Pedro Infante.
06:42It follows by stating,
06:44We express our deep solidarity with the decent Venezuelans who were attacked by this new
06:49and illegitimate action of the imperialist hegemony against our homeland and our institutions,
06:55and we tell the decadent United States of American Empire and its European satellites
07:01that no unilateral coercive measures will stop the libertarian and independent path
07:06of the Venezuelan people that they have chosen.
07:10The communiqué closes by declaring that the National Assembly demands full respect for
07:15the institutionalism of the country, and we reiterate before the world that more than
07:19200 years ago we ceased to be a colony thanks to the will and struggle of our people, and
07:25therefore do not accept nor will accept the interference of foreign powers in our internal
07:30affairs nor any neocolonial subordination.
07:40On Friday, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Aramerica's People's Strait Treaty
07:46ALBA-TCP released a statement condemning the new unilateral coercive measures imposed
07:51by the US government on Venezuelan citizens. According to the communiqué, the member states
07:56of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Aramerica's People's Strait Treaty ALBA-TCP
08:01categorically reject the new imposition of unilateral coercive measures by the government
08:07of the United States and Venezuelan nationals. It follows today Venezuela has 16 nationals
08:13unilaterally sanctioned for the simple fact of fulfilling their duties and basically for
08:18being Venezuelans and not acting to benefit a Venezuelan political sector which is well
08:23known for being extremist and fascist and has always claimed to be in favor of interventionism
08:29and the violation of international law rather than assuming its defeat. The statement ends
08:35The statement emphasizes these measures not only attack the 16 sanctioned individuals,
08:40this criminal and illegal practice of the US government against the states that do not
08:45work in favor of its interests, alters the economic and political stability of this country
08:51and the entire region. Finally, the communiqué states, ALBA-TCP strongly repudiates this
08:57new attack against public officials, their human and civil rights and the Venezuelan
09:02nation in general which threatens the peace and tranquility of all Latin America and the
09:07Caribbean and calls on regional governments to reject this measure and to promote diplomacy
09:13and respect for the self-determination of the peoples and closes by emphasizing that
09:18the Bolivarian alliance demands respect for the sovereignty of the free peoples of our
09:23America and the Caribbean and reaffirms its unrestricted support and solidarity with the
09:28people and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
