00:00Across the Carolina coast here as we had in the early parts of next week
00:03We are gonna have that blocking high-pressure system there to the northeast now
00:07Yes, we've been talking about bringing some great dry weather lots of sunshine here across the northeast
00:11But that high-pressure system is gonna block any potential moisture and pretty much
00:16Create a conveyor belt to just funnel all that moisture into parts of the Carolinas
00:21So as we had in the early parts of next week
00:23We're gonna have team coverage live team coverage from our storm trackers Aaron J
00:27Jack, Allie Reed, Tony Lobach
00:29They're gonna be all across all across the coast
00:32To bring you the latest here as we had in the early to middle parts of next week because we are expecting some very
00:36Heavy rainfall and lots of widespread flooding here as we head into
00:41The Carolinas and even Southern Virginia as well
00:43So here's the setup that tropical rainstorm as it continues to develop with that warm water
00:47They're just offshore that conveyor belt is just gonna bring all that heavy rainfall pretty much direct that rainstorm right into the Carolinas
00:55So this is where we're gonna see this area highlighted right here that significant potential rainfall here for us
01:01We're gonna see rough surf
01:02there's gonna be some beach erosion and there will be widespread coastal flooding here setting up for us a
01:07Tropical depression and a name storm could be possible here as early as tomorrow
01:11We'll be watching out for that and as far as the overall rainfall totals
01:14You can see this band right here of that darkest shade of green
01:17That is 4 to 8 total inches of rain and everyone in here can see at least 1 to 2 inches of heavy rainfall
01:24And that's addition to all the rain. We've already seen from Francine
01:27So flooding will be the primary issue with that Accuweather local storm max 20 inches for some isolated areas
01:33So there could be some localized widespread flooding so for Sunday
01:38That's when we're gonna start to see the development
01:40But as we head into Monday midday Monday is when we're gonna start to see that really heavy rainfall moving onshore
01:45Looks like the heaviest rainfall will happen late Monday afternoon. We'll continue to bring you the latest. We'll have more updates
01:51You can stay right here. We'll be right back
