00:00Let's take you to the South Central
00:01and now where we don't have too
00:03many problems afoot, at least
00:05for the start of the weekend.
00:06But we are shaking things up a little bit,
00:09especially across the Gulf Coast states.
00:11But here we do have some winds and
00:13we are concerned about a fire weather
00:15danger threat here across New Mexico.
00:17So heads up with the milder temperatures
00:19with the gusty winds, the low humidity.
00:21Well, that spells that risk for fire
00:23weather danger and you're not going
00:25to want to contribute to the problem there.
00:27No outdoor burning recommended.
00:28Even as we head further East though,
00:31you'll start to see some of that moisture.
00:33Look at highs though how they shape up
00:36because you'll note that drop love it.
00:38We're at 68 Saturday by Sunday.
00:40We're down to 46 and you'll see a
00:42similar drop there in El Paso 76.
00:44Saturday, Sunday 62 not seeing
00:46too much of a change.
00:48Actually a little bit of a
00:49boost for areas further East.
00:51That's because we have this warm air
00:53surging northward out ahead of this,
00:55but that cooler air pulling
00:57in behind this front.
00:58It is going to be quite windy,
01:00but where we have the storms,
01:02that's where we're anticipating
01:04that threat of severe weather.
01:05This goes through Sunday night.
01:07We have a moderate risk on the board
01:10that extends through much of Louisiana,
01:12Southwest Mississippi, Jackson included.
01:13I-55 and then along I-10.
01:15We aren't ruling out any
01:17mode of severe weather.
01:18We have hail.
01:19We have isolated downpours.
01:21We have flooding downpours and
01:23even isolated tornadoes.
01:24Damaging winds also on Taos.
01:25We have a lot of rain.
01:27Also on tap and that's probably
01:29going to be our highest concern,
01:31at least when it comes to how many
01:34wind reports we are anticipating
01:36it in that moderate zone.
01:37That's where we are expecting more
01:39numerous in coverage thus severe
01:41thunderstorm threat still anywhere
01:43that was shaded in any color could
01:45see at could see severe weather and
01:47it only takes one storm to do a damage.
01:50Flooding hail tornadoes all low,
01:52but the threat non zero.
01:54Wind on the other hand,
01:56that is going to be a medium chance,
01:59and that's what's going to be our big
02:01concern even as we head in to Monday.
