00:00I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
00:18We praise and glorify the Messenger of Allah.
00:22Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
00:28Maulana Rumi has narrated an incident.
00:37Once upon a time, when Prophet Moses was going, a shepherd was grazing his goats.
00:46While he was grazing his goats, he was talking to Allah.
00:51He said to Allah,
00:57If I find you, I will feed you and serve you. If you are tired, I will give you a massage.
01:12If you are tired, I will give you a bath. If your clothes are torn, I will put them on you.
01:23He was saying such things which he could understand.
01:30When Prophet Moses heard this, he was very angry.
01:37Allah is such that those who do not sleep, do not get sleep, do not need food, do not need clothes, are useless.
01:55What are you saying?
02:00He apologized to Prophet Moses.
02:05After that, when Prophet Moses went to his office, Allah said to him,
02:14O Moses, you have separated that shepherd from me.
02:24Prophet Moses said, O Allah, he was saying such and such things.
02:31Maulana Rumi writes that it was said that he was saying those things from his heart, as much as he understood.
02:39The point is that the knowledge of Allah, the knowledge of the Prophet, as much as anyone understands,
02:52if he speaks with sincerity and intention, then it will definitely be accepted in his speech.
03:03The point is that Prophet Moses had the right and he was a prophet.
03:10He spoke about guidance and the guidance told him that everything is wrong.
03:15Quran says,
03:18They do not get tired.
03:22It was their right and they gave them the right guidance.
03:29Moses was right and he was right.
03:32Because as much as he knew, he was remembering Allah with sincerity.
03:38He was remembering Allah with love.
03:43So, everything is done with sincerity.
03:47Now, one thing is poisonous for someone and another is poisonous for someone else.
03:54Those things were wrong for Moses.
03:58It was right for him.
04:00So, Allah says in the hadith,
04:05We appoint you for external affairs.
04:09And we know and see what is in the hearts of people.
04:15So, it is obvious that the external actions should be good.
04:22We should pray.
04:25But the intentions should be clear.
04:30We should be sincere.
04:34Then that prayer does a work.
04:37It purifies.
04:41The point is that if a person is praying to show something to someone,
04:47then it becomes a formality.
04:50It becomes a poem.
04:53But on the other hand,
04:55if a person is praying with sincerity,
04:59and if an impure dog,
05:03who is a creation of Allah,
05:06is offering water to save his life,
05:09to save him from destruction,
05:12then offering water becomes heaven for me.
05:16It becomes forgiveness for me.
05:20So, my point is that we should pray.
05:25If a person is praying,
05:28and his neighbor is also safe,
05:31then SubhanAllah, what is the point of his prayer?
05:34He will have a spiritual journey.
05:37So, prayer is in its place.
05:40We should not leave it.
05:42But we should eliminate the other shortcomings.
05:48Because prayer is a condition of Allah,
05:52which has been given to man.
05:54It has been given to us as a condition.
05:57So, it is very important to correct the intentions within.
06:05When we speak with words,
06:08we should correct it with our intentions.
06:15Because words will work only when
06:20we want to correct what is being said.
06:28When we do not want to correct what is being said,
06:33then it will not work.
06:35So, if there is a shortcoming in words,
06:39if it goes back and forth,
06:43but the intentions are clear,
06:48then Allah will forgive us.
06:51It is mentioned in a hadith,
06:54that a person was so happy about something,
06:59that he said,
07:02that Allah is saying that you are my servant,
07:06and I am your servant.
07:08Now, to say that you are my Allah,
07:11and I am your servant,
07:13but the happiness changed the words,
07:16the intentions were clear,
07:18Allah forgave us.
07:20So, the aim is that we should correct our intentions from within,
07:26me too, and you too.
07:29And sincerity,
07:31which works only with intentions,
07:34then its results will be different.
07:37Then the matters will be different.
07:40Then the prayer will bring blessings,
07:43in fasting, in rizq,
07:45it will get rid of domestic problems,
07:48it will get rid of physical problems,
07:50this is sincerity.
07:52It will give physical wealth,
07:55and internal wealth of faith.
07:58The condition is,
08:00with sincerity,
08:02whatever we say,
08:04we say it from our heart,
08:06whatever we say,
08:08there should not be any confusion,
08:10there should not be any lies,
08:12there should not be any doubt in that,
08:15then it will go and work,
08:17then it will work.
08:19See, Allah,
08:22we are always in His sight,
08:25He is always looking at us.
08:28So, whenever our sight
08:33is in a wrong place,
08:36before that, we have to think,
08:38we have to see,
08:40that before my sight rises,
08:43when my sight rises,
08:45and even after my sight rises,
08:48I am in the sight of Allah the Almighty.
08:53So, when this thing arises,
08:56when this thing arises,
08:58then the inner purity starts.
09:01Just like the dirt of the body comes out,
09:04the dirt of the heart comes out,
09:06the dirt of the heart comes out,
09:08the dirt of the heart comes out,
09:11and then all those things go away.
09:14Then wherever we make a mistake,
09:17then He is the Merciful,
09:20He forgives us.
09:23Then He covers us,
09:26He purifies us,
09:29He cleanses us.
09:31He covers all our bad habits,
09:34which people don't bother about in us.
09:37He covers them up.
09:39In what way does He cover us?
09:41If it has entered my heart,
09:43that's a wrong thing,
09:45then if something goes wrong,
09:49then what will people think?
09:51They will think that,
09:53And what is he thinking inside?
09:55How much he is trying to hide
09:57How much he is trying to hide
09:59That I am thinking something inside
10:01I am saying something from outside
10:03And he is covering it
10:05He is trying to hide
10:07That is why we have been told
10:09That we should hide the evil of others
10:11So that Allah
10:13Will punish us
10:15He will punish our sins
10:17He will hide our sins
10:19Sin is not a good thing
