She began her career as a model for magazines and tarento until, in the early 2000s, she arrived on television and then in cinema where she took on increasingly important roles. She became known above all for her participation in the film Seta and the two-season drama Bloody Monday, a live action version of the homonymous thriller manga series Bloody Monday alongside Haruma Miura and Takeru Satō. On September 14, 2020, she was found dead in her apartment in Tokyo. According to initial findings, the actress appears to have committed suicide.
