00:00But what has Karmie meant to you, just diving into all of his complexities
00:04and the way that he really showcases masculinity and all of its facets?
00:10Yeah, I don't know. I don't know how often I think or, like,
00:13connect him with masculinity necessarily, but I, you know,
00:18there are things I admire about him and I feel like I want to steal from him.
00:23I think his sort of, like, focus and determination and follow-through
00:29and a certain amount of obsession is something that I would like to borrow for my life.
00:37But I think in things I've learned is sort of, you know,
00:42sort of what I think I was trying to explain when I accepted the award,
00:46which is just, like, these things.
00:49He has such a difficult time extending himself, I think,
00:53and communicating and reaching out to other people.
00:56And I think during the time I've been playing Karmie,
00:59I've looked at myself and tried to sort of, I think, be more available
01:07to people sort of seeing where Karmie has sort of fallen at times.
01:13Yeah.
01:14All right, next question. I see a hand in the front right here on the far side.
01:20Hello.
01:23Hi, Vincent from NDYA.
01:24Hey.
01:25So I wanted to ask you,
01:26I feel like season two really showcased a lot for the cast as a whole
01:29and now some of them are winning their awards for the first time.
01:32Yeah.
01:32Joining the ranks of you and Io and Eben.
01:34So what's it like seeing the rest of your cast get their Oates?
01:38So beautiful.
01:38It was really my fit, like, the fact that, I mean, well, you know,
01:44Jamie and Bernthal won last weekend and that was so beautiful.
01:48Getting to see Liza, I was, you know, I was backstage
01:53and I got to go on the wings and watch her accept.
01:57And that was just the greatest.
02:00Lionel's nomination, so massive.
02:04Everybody does such beautiful work on this show.
02:06And yeah, to see them recognized, it just, it makes me so happy and so proud.
02:13I just love, I love them. I love the show.
02:15Cool. Congrats.
02:17All right. Another question in the room, please.
02:20Um, yep.
02:22Let's go with the red shirt and the second row.
02:26Congratulations.
02:27Clearly this has changed your life yet again.
02:31And you mentioned that on stage.
02:33You were, you played Cary von Erich in the past
02:37and in the future you're playing Bruce Springsteen.
02:40Yeah.
02:41So can you share anything of that process?
02:44The singing, the just getting into Bruce
02:48and anything else you'd like to say about that?
02:51Yeah, I mean, I'm really, I'm really, I mean, I'm so excited to start this thing.
02:56We're getting started pretty soon.
02:58You know, I don't want to talk about it too much.
03:00It feels like wrong before kind of getting there and starting the thing.
03:06But I can say I've got a really beautiful team of people, you know, helping me.
03:12Um, and, and Bruce has been really, uh, like lovely and, and, and supportive, um,
03:20and available, which has made this whole process, I think, just an extra joy that we have his
03:26support and, um, and John Landau, his, his manager support who has, uh, uh, you know,
03:31a large role in, in, in the film, um, as well.
03:35So I feel, uh, I feel really lucky and, uh, and yeah, we're, uh, we're getting there.
03:40Yeah.
03:42Our final question will be from a virtual participant, Nikki Rich.
03:45Nikki, take it away.
03:48Oh, virtual.
03:49Hi, I'm Nikki Rich of the Nikki Rich show.
03:51Honored to talk with you.
03:52Congratulations on your win tonight.
03:57How did you prepare knowing that you were going to win tonight?
04:00Well, I didn't, I didn't know I was going to win.
04:02Um, but, um, I did, uh, uh, you know, I don't know.
04:07Days, these days are strange.
04:08You don't really have time to do anything.
04:12It feels like a lot of, uh, waiting around.
04:15Um, I just got ready, uh, and I got to bring my sister Annabelle here with me tonight,
04:20which, uh, which is wonderful.
04:21I'm glad she's here with me.
04:22I want to go, um, yeah, uh, make sure she's okay soon, uh, out in the audience.
04:27Um, but yeah, just, uh, uh, uh, a regular day until, uh, until I got here.
