00:00What was your reaction when Liza won and gave that emotional speech?
00:03It was the best, yeah, I like, so I had just gone backstage and so I had heard her name
00:09back there and I got to kind of run around and I was in the wing and I got to see her
00:13and I got to see, you know, the audience and she spoke so beautifully and yeah, I'm just
00:19so, she's such a beautiful performer and she deserves it and I'm just, yeah, so happy for
00:24her, yeah.
00:25They were really wrapping people up quick tonight, is there anybody you didn't get a
00:29chance to thank that you'd like to thank now?
00:32I think, yeah, I always forget just these folks, all the folks that make it happen,
00:36you know, the folks at Disney, Dana, Landgraf at FX, you know, they supported the show that
00:44on paper was not very much to look at and look at us now, it's good.
00:51And you gave such an emotional speech too about just how the show has made you feel
00:54like change is possible and you're never alone.
00:57How do you hope viewers take away from the show?
01:00Is it that message or what is it?
01:02Yeah, I mean, to me, I think so much of the show is about sort of reaching out for connection
01:12and finding it in moments when you might not expect it and I think there's lessons in there
01:20for everybody and certainly lessons for me as well, yeah.
01:24Finally, we can't wait to see you as Bruce Springsteen, how is singing prep going and
01:27prep for that movie?
01:29It's going really well, yeah, yeah, we've been working really hard for three, four months
01:34and yeah, everybody, I've got a really beautiful team in place that's been helping and Bruce
01:39is so wonderful and supportive so I feel lucky, I think it's going to be good, yeah.
