00:00In 2024, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Porsche Korea.
00:26We came up with something very exclusive, a Sonderwunsch market edition.
00:3150 cars exclusively built our appreciation to the Korean customers.
00:41Sonderwunsch is our offer to create products that go beyond our catalogue offer.
00:47Usually, we work on topics that have never been available before.
00:52Due to the fact that this product substance that you find in the cars is not available for any other customers.
01:00Of course, the value of these cars is very high and we're talking about real collector's items.
01:08Porsche Korea is one of our most important markets.
01:11We get a lot of inspiration and we are very thankful for all the passion for our brand and the excitement for our products.
01:20We deeply enjoy the close link between our Porsche DNA and the Korean society and culture.
01:33Well, normally, whenever we do a market edition, there's one color.
01:36The common color sort of ties them all together.
01:41But with the K edition, we decided to do five different colors for the 50 cars.
01:46Ten of each to represent different metropolitan areas or even an island.
02:04One of the colors that we chose is called Ruby Red Metallic.
02:07And that was chosen to represent the area of Sejong, which is an area of Korea that goes way back in history.
02:13It's also the high-tech area, which funnily enough is very similar to what Porsche is all about.
02:17Tradition and innovation.
02:26When you have an edition of five different colored cars, you always need certain elements to sort of bring them together.
02:31And this we chose together with the Korean market.
02:34This idea of the skyline that represents different buildings or architecture or monuments within Korea.
02:42There's one little element that we're quite proud of.
02:44It's a specially designed stamp.
02:46And it's based on the king's stamp.
02:48And within that symbol, we spelled the name Taekwon in the Korean language.
02:52And we use that on different places within the car.
02:58If you look at the challenges of the project, there's a couple things that stand out.
03:02Such as the cross-stitching. It's very complicated, very beautiful stitching.
03:05We applied that for the first time in the Taekwon.
03:08It's also the subject of color blocking.
03:10Creatively developing all these elements together.
03:13Sort of bring it all into a real complete package that's also at the same time very individual.
03:21We bring together the experts from the market.
03:24In this case, Porsche Korea and our Sonderwunsch organization in the Stuttgart headquarter.
03:29And therefore, you can see and feel all the emotion that was brought personally into this project.
03:36In the result, in the product substance of these very exclusive cars.
