A witness to the pursuit by law enforcement officers of the suspect in an apparent assassination attempt against former US President Donald Trump in Florida on Sept 15 said that it looked like an intense standoff and the swarm of police, sheriff's deputies and helicopters stopped traffic for roughly two hours.

00:03Just a regular Sunday turns into a very manic day.
00:06We just saw, like, in a blink of an eye, just like, somebody almost getting killed, or former
00:11president almost getting killed again.
00:13I think I see, I think if you can see, I think one has like a rifle pointed to the car or
00:27something.
00:28I don't know.
00:30At first, we thought it was just a regular suspect, and probably he had a gun, so we
00:36were very scared, and we thought that he probably would have run to, like, one of our cars and
00:40stuff like that.
00:41After we saw the amount of cars, and the amount of cars that kept on piling up, a bunch of
00:45trucks, a bunch of Escalades, a bunch of deputies just started rushing over, just running.
00:50I felt like we got a little bit more safe, but I was the one that actually found out
00:54the JD Benz tweet that he put out, and we saw a bunch of journalists saying that it
00:59was actually near the area that was near us.
01:02And we kind of put two and two together after we started seeing the amount of helicopters
01:06and stuff like that.
01:07And then they started describing about a black Nissan.
01:10Yeah, we kind of were like, wow, that actually was a suspect.
01:13We were actually stuck in traffic for almost two hours, actually.
01:18Standoff was actually in there for two hours.
01:21We saw no suspects, like, step outside of the car, actually.
01:25But we saw multiple officers, because we had a pair of binoculars, actually, and we stepped
01:30outside of the car, and we saw there was multiple officers with their rifles drawn at the car
01:36for a couple hours, actually.
01:38And it looked like an intense standoff, but the officers actually made us, like, stand
01:43back a little bit, so we actually can't get close to it.
01:46And yeah, they were just helping.
01:47They're saying to people that you can't enter, and if you actually do enter, you'll be
01:51trespassing and stuff like that.
01:53It really gave me an insight of, like, how, like, unsecure we are as a country.
02:00We're seeing suspects and people, like, especially more crazy people, going out in the streets
02:05and doing these things.
02:06And it's really hurting our democracy, to be honest, and it's just making me very scared.
