00:00One of the best things about London is the museums, it feels as if there's an endless
00:05amount to choose from, from the Natural History Museum, to the British Museum, or even down
00:10at the Docklands for slightly alternative exhibitions. But do the people of London have
00:15a particular favourite?
00:18London's got the best museums that I've ever been to I think, and galleries. I was recently
00:24in Frankfurt and went to a museum and a gallery, obviously it's not as big as London, so it's
00:32not as broad, but in Vienna, I went to a museum in Vienna, and it was fantastic, but very
00:39localised, whereas I think London tends to be a bit more global.
00:43I'm a bit of a STEM nerd, so probably my favourite museum would be the Science Museum. They've
00:48got loads of cool specific events. I also like anything that's after dark, so I think
00:55the Natural History Museum has an after dark event, I've been to one of those.
01:02Museums, V&A is fantastic, Natural History is great, especially with young kids growing
01:07up, that's fantastic.
01:09As well as museums, London boasts an incredible array of art galleries and exhibitions. A
01:15Van Gogh exhibition is currently running until January 19th 2025 at the National Portrait
01:22Gallery, and a Fragile Beauty exhibit is also on at London's V&A. But how popular is art
01:28in London, and which are the best galleries to go to?
01:33I'm not really big on my art, but of course I've been to the Tate Modern, it's alright,
01:39I'm not going to front and pretend like I know my art.
01:42In London, the Courtauld, which is at the end of the Strand, and it has a fantastic
01:48exhibition of beautiful paintings right across from the Impressionist period, that's what
01:56I really like.
