00:00The minimum wage earner in Calabarzon and Central Visayas is now approved.
00:06According to the Department of Labor and Employment,
00:08the wage hike in Calabarzon will be from P21 to P75 in September 30, 2024.
00:15This means that the daily income in the non-agriculture sector will be from P420 to P560,
00:23depending on where they are in the municipality.
00:27P425 to P500 in the agriculture sector,
00:31and P425 in the retail and service establishments,
00:35where there are no more than 10 employees.
00:38In Central Visayas, the approved wage hike is from P33 to P43,
00:43which is effective in October 2.
00:45The new daily minimum wage is from P453 to P501,
00:51depending on where the worker is working.
