00:00It's on this Friday night in Manhattan, Kansas to the Little
00:07Apple. We go one of two ranked versus ranked matchups in week
00:12three. It's twentieth ranked Arizona number 14 K State again.
00:18You look at this game. Oh, a big twelve matchup to start
00:21things off this year for the grouping of the Wildcats. That
00:25is incorrect. This is a non conference game does not have
00:28ramifications on the big twelve standings total is sixty and a
00:33half and what stands out to me Joe Kansas State more than a
00:37touchdown favorite at home against Arizona is the line
00:41fitting or is it a little bit too steep? Well, you know it
00:46depends on who you think is going to win this game. If you
00:50think that Arizona who is coming off of a very lackluster
00:56performance against Northern Arizona, which I do think is
01:00playing into the market perception of this team. I mean
01:02there are some changes, although they have plenty enough
01:06offensive returning starters from a year ago, including
01:09their quarterback philosophically. It's about
01:12the same Kansas State. Listen that game against Tulane would
01:16we be having the same conversation if Mensa doesn't
01:21get picked there in the end zone at the end of that game.
01:24We could be having a totally different discussion and
01:26different line for K State. I think the perception of both
01:30these teams is they are going to be able to put up points. I
01:33think defensively that's where both of these teams are going
01:36to have some issues. The tempo is going to be there. I quite
01:39honestly been don't know how this thing stays under any
01:43total you throw out there. It is a key number of course seven
01:47and a half right, but my goodness there are going to be
01:51a ton of points and when you got such a high total that kind
01:54of spread shouldn't bother you if you're looking to lay it
01:57with Kansas State. Now Kennesaw State currently in FBS
02:02program did play a couple of FBS foes a year ago and
02:06technically was the best cover team in the country as they
02:09were one and oh against the number. But if you go outside
02:13of just one game, Arizona was the best cover team in college
02:17football a season ago, eleven and two against the spread and
02:20nobody better at covering numbers as an underdog Zona
02:24last year six and oh against the spread as an underdog only
02:28three outright victories fine, but covering numbers by an
02:32average margin of 17.4 points per game in those six contests
02:37booked as the dog. So the hook added on to the seven does
02:42stand out to me. Neither of these groups of cats has
02:46Covered so far this season, Arizona tested week one by New
02:51Mexico last week nearly a forty point favorite against
02:55northern Arizona FBS foe. They won twenty-two to ten and in
03:00week number one, Joe Nova Fita had more than 400 passing
03:04yards more than 300 of them went to his top target Ted
03:07Arroyo McMillan, one of the best wide outs in college
03:10football last week. The guy had two grabs for eleven yards. I
03:14have no idea what happened, but you mentioned Darien Mensah
03:18and Tulane last week in New Orleans close to 350 through
03:22the air against this Wildcats secondary and three touchdowns.
03:28So that should lead you to know if a Fita tonight 269 and a
03:32half and T-Mac his receiving yards prop ninety-four and a
03:36hook. I would keep an eye on DJ Giddens. That's K States
03:40running back. One hundred and a half is his rushing yards
03:44prop. He has gone over that in six consecutive games. Each of
03:47the first two this year for K State the final four a season
03:51ago and Arizona has been getting run on so far this
03:55season, but to your point, Joe, I think we see some points and
03:58some offense tonight in the Little Apple a top 20 tilt on a
04:02Friday, perhaps the best game of the weekend.
