00:00Next, Futures Fusion, and a fun one.
00:06NFC West teams to win 35 or more combined games, it's even money, plus 100.
00:12Or the NFC South teams to win 30 or less combined games at plus 110.
00:19Which side you choosing?
00:20Yeah, we don't like math out here, Ben.
00:23The reason I bring this up is I don't know how many people are actually going to the FanDuel Sportsbook
00:26and betting either one of these because when you look at it, like,
00:29okay, let's start with the first one.
00:30NFC West teams to win 35 plus combined games.
00:34So you're telling me I got to go through four different schedules and four different outcomes here
00:38and then grab a computer, decide to see which way I'm going to go.
00:41And then on the opposite side, the same thing,
00:43NFC South teams to win 30 or less games at a plus 110 price.
00:47Now, if we look at it optimistically, right,
00:49we do understand the teams with chances to win a championship,
00:52one of those at least resides in the NFC West.
00:55It's the San Francisco 49ers.
00:56They were tremendous on opening night.
00:58You say, you know what?
00:59That's probably a double-digit win team.
01:0012, maybe 13 wins if they can stay healthy.
01:03Christian McCaffrey comes back sooner than later, right?
01:06Then you take a look at the NFC South and say, well,
01:08we know they might have the single worst team in the NFL in the Carolina Panthers.
01:12But sometimes you have to do some, you know, little bit of math skills in this one.
01:16If we look at the NFC South teams to win 30 or less, that's really hard to do.
01:20Let's just take a look at the upper echelon of that division,
01:23which we just removed Carolina out, right?
01:25The Atlanta Falcons, I did have some decent aspirations for them this year,
01:28and I think they can win that division, and I still do.
01:30Tampa Bay looked good on opening day.
01:32Baker made from that offense look solid here.
01:34And then you take a look at the New Orleans Saints,
01:36who maybe were the most surprising team of week number one,
01:38crushing the Carolina Panthers.
01:40So if you use those three teams, Ben, and say, okay, what's the average for them?
01:44Nine wins, nine wins, nine wins, right?
01:46Just the average I'm talking about between those three.
01:49That gets you to 27 wins, which means I understand Carolina is supposed to stink.
01:54But three and 14 is so epically bad,
01:57but would still be able to cash that ticket technically towards the over.
02:01So for me, NFC South teams to win 30 or less games plus 110,
02:06I'm not betting that because I do think those three teams can account for 27.
02:09I just need three wins out of the Panthers,
02:11which I should get just by blindly walking or betting with them.
02:15So that NFC West team, 35-plus combined games at plus 100,
02:19I'm probably more likely to take that one
02:21than the NFC South teams to win less than 30 games.
02:24That's a crazy number.
