00:00After more than 10 years in Taitay, Rizal, the man facing multiple cases in Albay, EJ Gomez has the first news.

00:14This man has a warrant.

00:18This 43-year-old man was not able to escape when he was cornered by Taitay Police

00:23in Yakal Street, San Miguel Compound, Barangay Muzon, Taitay

00:26due to multiple cases in Albay since 2013.

00:31According to the police, in 2013, the man was charged with murder, attempted murder, robbery, and carnapping.

00:39In April 2014, he was charged with qualified robbery.

00:42And in December 2023, the man was also charged with forcible abduction with three counts of rape.

00:49According to the police, the man hid in different places for several years.

00:53He first hid in Manila.

00:55Then, he used fake IDs and fake names.

01:01He used the name to get recognized.

01:05He went to Rizal, Taitay, around 2020.

01:15about the possible hiding of the suspect

01:18when the information was confirmed that he was hiding in Taitay

01:21where the operation to arrest the accused took place.

01:24When we reached his house, he was lying on the floor.

01:29Maybe it was an element of surprise.

01:33He was surprised that we were already there and he was not able to escape.

01:37So he just joined us.

01:38The suspect was not allowed to stay in the Taitay Custodial Facility for several days before being transferred to Albay.
