00:00This year, DRS, we've seen three rookie quarterbacks make

00:07two each of the first two weeks. Nobody throwing a

00:11touchdown so far this season. JJ McCarthy, as many passing

00:15touchdowns as any of the three quarterbacks who have started.

00:19Same for Drake Bay and Michael Penix Junior. All goose eggs

00:23for the six quarterbacks taken in the opening round in 2024.

00:27Of course, most damning for Caleb Williams, for Jaden

00:30Daniels, who's been pretty good in other components and at

00:32least efficient with the football and Bo Nix, who does

00:35not have any passing touchdowns but does have four

00:38interceptions, multiple in each game. I'll tell you what's

00:41interesting too because this is not just a rookie pandemic

00:44right now. We're not throwing touchdown passes. The lowest

00:47amount of touchdown passes through two weeks, I believe

00:49since like 2006, which is incredible and I always talk

00:53about in the early months is where you love the team totals

00:56over. You love the high flying offenses because everybody is

00:59healthy and the weather is nice. What's going to take a

01:02look at Ben? We get to the end of October and November and

01:04December and some of these cold air cities. Is it just going

01:07to be the running game? Is that like the new institution

01:09where running backs are getting paid now? Rightfully so

01:11because that's the only guys that can actually score

01:13touchdowns at a high rate. We're waiting for that

01:15breakthrough and again tonight, you're going to watch a

01:17Thursday night football game with two quarterbacks that one

01:19is a Hall of Famer who were saying like maybe he can throw

01:22two touchdowns and Jacoby Presetta's price that sound

01:24like don't even think about taking him as a touchdown

01:26prop with those rookies. If we're being honest, right

01:29Caleb Williams through two weeks. If you would have told

01:31me before the season started, here's his wide receiving core.

01:33Here's how talented he is. He hasn't got a touchdown pass

01:36yet. Jaden Daniels won the Heisman Trophy last year and

01:39was throwing it all over the lot for LSU. No touchdown

01:42passes just yet. Now may of course hasn't started Michael

01:45Penn exchange in McCarthy. We get it, but the same like Bo

01:47Nix is throwing like 40 plus times a game and hasn't had a

01:50touchdown pass yet. It's incredible man. Where has the

01:53offense gone, man?
