00:00I think it's really interesting for fans to see a different side of both these characters.

00:05Megatron and Optimus Prime, in fact even Bumblebee, we haven't heard their characters speak before.

00:10It does offer up something very unique and fresh to discover they were friends before they were enemies.

00:15I think it's going to be interesting for people.

00:18It puts the other films and stories into greater context and gives the group greater depth.

00:24So yeah, I'm excited for people to see it.

00:27I had an Optimus Prime action figure as a kid, which I loved.

00:32And I think what I loved about playing the character, again, just doing something different with it.

00:38I didn't want to mimic what Peter Cullen had done so brilliantly.

00:42I wanted to have a fresh take here and the script offered that opportunity up.

00:47But there is a sort of recklessness to the character as well as a blind optimism too and enthusiasm, which was fun.

00:55The thing I love about Alita is that she knows what her strengths are and she's really a born leader.

01:02And I think part of being a leader is really taking the team around you and lifting everybody up

01:08and really seeing the best parts of people and helping them to become the best version of themselves.

01:15And that's what she does.

01:17And I think that's an inspiring way to be. It's an inspiring message for young people.

01:22I didn't have a favorite Transformer growing up.

01:24Because when I grew up, I was like probably...

01:28My brother Adrian, who was eight years older than me, was so into the Transformers TV show.

01:32And then I got all of his leftover Transformers toys.

01:36And so for me, it was just these little figures that I played with

01:40that basically married a Barbie with a bad haircut or maybe a Ninja Turtle.

01:47Well, my favorite Transformer growing up was Soundwave.

01:51Soundwave was a Decepticon and he transformed into a boombox.

01:55And he had like a cassette shoot, like old time cassettes.

01:59And the cassettes would come out and they were little and they would transform into little Transformers.

02:04It was the best. So you got like three Transformers in one.

02:07And then it's such an honor to play Bumblebee.

02:11I mean, of all the characters, I think I get to play the funnest character.

02:14You know what I mean? He's a fan favorite.

02:17And I felt a little bit of pressure going, I've got to match the lore, if you will.

02:22And we had a really fun time doing it.

02:24Our director, Josh, helped me through the entire experience. It was great.
