00:00Hello there, I am here with Emma G from Reading Borough Council and Alex Aitchinson of Lincoln
00:15Property Management. So we just had the Investment Forum Reading breakfast event for South East
00:19Business Insider. Emma, what were the main highlights for you?
00:24I think an interesting discussion around how the town's evolved over time, what the momentum
00:31looks like now, what the investments we're making, physical changes, how we want to work
00:35across Berkshire in terms of economic strategising, sector strengths and just developing skills
00:41pipelines to make sure that Reading continues to be the destination for tech and creative.
00:47Thank you Emma, and for you Alex?
00:49Yeah, so for Lincoln Property Company, developer, investor, operator of real estate, delivering
00:54station hill, a next generation multi-family BTR development, new office space, two acres
01:02of public realm, right-of-way station and that's now delivering operation. It's so great
01:09to hear from the business community about what it's able to deliver, how it's able to attract
01:14people back to the office, the fantastic public realm which is going to bring more of that
01:19community engagement, and also the residential units in terms of our apartments and that
01:24rental community, providing much needed homes to Reading.
01:28Fantastic, thanks to both of you.
