00:00Every season he's stronger, yeah, deeper squad and add more and more players and top
00:14quality, yeah. Every season he's even better and even better. Always I have a highly opinion
00:20about him, his team. Everybody knows that he grew up as a team year by year, so there's
00:26no doubt about that. Both years have been close, but we have been so strong as well
00:33and still we are strong and looking forward for the game.
00:37We want to be at the level that we want to be. We have to be really good on the road
00:41and at home. There's no other choice. So we have to continue to be that consistent, get
00:48the results, especially get the performances that are going to get us the results. This
00:52team has always reacted that way. The fact that obviously we weren't satisfied and we
00:56wanted more and we knew that we could be there and we have the level and we lost a few things
01:03on the way that didn't allow us to be there. That has to be in the tummy. A new season,
01:10new opportunity and that's the beautiful thing about sports.
01:13This started off quite well with a win against our neighbours that caught the eye the most
01:19of course, because they were 2-0 down so late in the game. Iriota has done a tremendous
01:24job over there, plays nice football to watch, develops players, has a nice playing style.
01:33All credits for him, but hopefully we can manage to do better against Bournemouth tomorrow
01:39than we did against Nottingham Forest last week.
01:41It's always tough there, it's always aggressive there, but we know also the circumstances
01:46and you can't compare this. We didn't have a fit squad, we had even one or two players
01:54that were maybe up to 20% to play, but we had to play them. This time it's totally different.
02:00We have now a fit squad, we have definitely 18 players who are capable to go into this
02:09good challenge for us.
02:10Last week against City I thought they played really well, took the game to City. It's always
02:16a challenge, but that's the Premier League. I don't think there's any games you go into
02:19thinking they're going to be any easier than any others. We have to be ready for Brentford
02:25tomorrow, but we are at home and we've got to make sure we continue with our strong performances
02:31in the league, but turn those performances into results.
02:35I think this is a good squad, but I also said that if in the last two years we finish 12th
02:40and we finish 6th, to improve is not something automatic. I think the squad is good, but
02:48the only way to reach some important target, like top four, is just to try to be focused
02:54on game after game, otherwise if you think about April, May, it's too far.
02:59Every part of the Premier League season is critical. You don't design to get off not
03:04to a good start. Trust me, no manager does, no team does, no player does. We wanted to
03:08get off to a better start than we've got off to, but we haven't, so therefore we've got
03:13to find different ways of operating, five different ways of producing to go and win
03:18performances. Like I say, you can always take a lucky one, you don't want to build on it,
03:22but you take one.
