00:12DENR SOC-Sargen Executive Director Felix Alicer says, they are referred to as ambush predators,

00:20Alicer says they were able to get drone footage of the crocodile, which looked to be three
00:23to four meters in length.
00:25The plan to capture the crocodile started with Rogelio Solis, the chairman of Barangay
00:29Buayan.
00:30He says he grew frustrated that their calls for help were ignored, adding it has already
00:34affected their livelihood.
00:36Alicer cautions the group, you're putting your lives in great danger.
00:39He also advises residents to stay cautious when near the water.
00:43Alicer says experts from Crocodylus Porosus Philippines, a reptile conservation group,
00:47will help determine the next course of action.
