Super Typhoon “Pepito” (international name: Man-yi) made its second landfall over Dipaculao, Aurora at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, and is now moving across mainland Luzon, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 5 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Pepito was located over Nagtipunan, Quirino while packing maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour (kph) near its center and gusts soaring to 305 kph.

02:53We are expecting that it will cross the northern portion of Central Luzon and will go out of the landmass of Mainland Luzon tonight or tomorrow morning.
03:04We can see that it is possible that Super Typhoon Pepito will go out of the landmass of Luzon and become a typhoon category.
03:14And it is possible that Super Typhoon Pepito will go out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility by tomorrow morning or noon.
03:22We also released a weather advisory regarding Super Typhoon Pepito, where it is possible that there will be more than 200 mm of rain or intense to torrential rain in Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao, and Pangasinan.
03:38So what are we expecting when it comes to intense to torrential rain?
03:41We are expecting widespread incidents of severe flooding and landslide.
03:46Heavy to intense rains, 100 to 200 mm of rain in Isabela, Calinga, Mountain Province, Abra, La Union, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Zambales, Bulacan, here in Rizal, and also in Quezon.
04:01Heavy to intense rains, numerous flooding events, likely, especially in urbanized, low-lying, or near rivers.
04:09Landslide, likely in moderate to heavy susceptible areas, or highly susceptible areas.
04:15Meanwhile, moderate to heavy, 50 to 100 mm of rain, we are expecting in Ilocos Sur, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Metro Manila, and Laguna.
04:28So, if it's moderate to heavy, 50 to 100 mm of rain, localized flooding is possible, mainly in areas that are urbanized, low-lying, or near rivers and landslides in highly susceptible areas.
04:43We also have a storm surge warning.
04:46We are expecting more than 3 meters in the northern and central portions of Aurora and Isabela.
04:57And we are expecting 2.1 to 3 meters in the southern portions of Aurora, in some parts of Cagayan, in Ilocos Norte, in Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, and Zambales.
05:101 to 2 meters in NCR 1st, 3rd and 4th District, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Bulacan, Quezon, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, and Albay.
05:29We are also expecting a gale warning here in the eastern coast of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, northern coast of Quezon, Apolillo Islands, northern coast of Camarines Norte, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, and the northern coast of Zambales.
05:47So, if possible, do not go to those areas because it will be flooded to the point where the sea is very flooded.
