Small appetizer, huge flavor! With bites this sweet and spicy, your guests won't be able to have just one.

00:00Sweet, salty, smoky, spicy.
00:14It's the perfect combination for my pineapple sweet and sour meatballs.
00:19I'm using one and a half pounds of ground pork, lean, 90% lean, and I'm using three-fourths
00:27of a pound of 85% lean ground beef.
00:32And these are super simple to make.
00:33I'm just adding some green onions or scallions, salt, generous, and pepper.
00:44So I'm going to be skewering these meatballs and serving them with this sauce.
00:48So it can get a little bit messy, which is why you want to make sure that these balls
00:51are small enough to just pop them in your mouth with one bite.
00:55Into the oven, and let's make the sauce.
00:58So the sauce is just as easy.
01:00I'm doing one big jar of sriracha garlic barbecue sauce.
01:06If you can't find this, no big deal.
01:08Grab your favorite jar of barbecue sauce, a little sriracha, and some chopped garlic.
01:13And I'm doing equal parts of pineapple juice, not from concentrate.
01:19So in the time that the meatballs cook, this should be reduced down by half, which is what
01:25you want, like a thick, rich, kind of caramelly sauce that coats the back of a spoon.

01:33So they're going to go into the sauce, have a little bath in that saucy sauce.
01:39I'm going to take a meatball, and I'm going to take a piece of that pineapple.
