00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:05turn off and on the autosave for Microsoft Word on a Mac computer for
00:10Office 365. Without further ado, let us start the video. So in this tutorial you
00:16need to have access to a Mac computer, the application Microsoft Word for Mac
00:20Office. We can now start the tutorial. Let's now go over onto the dock. Go to
00:25Launchpad. Go to Mac Office. Go to Microsoft Word. Let's just wait for the
00:29application to load. It has loaded. Let's now go to a blank document. Create. As you
00:35can see on the top left corner, autosave has been turned off. So we will turn this
00:41on after we write something within the blank document. Hello world and so
00:55autosave. Turn on autosave to save changes as they happen. Yes. So to turn
01:04autosave on and access your document from anywhere, upload your file to OneDrive.
01:09So let's just change the name of this document to Hello World. If we wish to, we
01:19can change the place. Let's just change the place. Add a place or for now let's
01:31just keep it the way it is. Save it to OneDrive. Computer science videos. Click on
01:41save. And now this is uploading. It says sync changes on OneDrive. Microsoft Word
01:48needs access to the OneDrive folder. Grant the access. Grant access. Autosave
01:58is on. So let's now quit Word. Let's go down to the doc. Go to finder. Go to
02:05OneDrive. And the document Hello World is saved there. Let's open that up. If we
02:12wish to, let's turn off the autosave. And now it will not save until we command S
02:19to save. Command S to save. Let's turn on the autosave. And the changes are made
02:35as we speak, as we work. Automatically saving. You don't have to worry about
02:45clicking save anymore. Use undo or version history to revert. Unwanted edits, that's
02:50fine. So everything has been saved. So we can now quit Word. And so that's it for this
02:58video. I'll see you guys in my next tutorial. Thanks for now. Thank you for making it
03:05towards the end of the video. Be sure to subscribe to my channel, Computer Science
