00:00Federal police conducted inspections at five double-story houses in Bandartasik Putri,
00:07Rawang, early Saturday morning, in their probe related to Global Ikhwan Services and business
00:13holdings-run care centers.
00:15The houses, located in a gated residential area, are believed to be resided by the Global
00:20Ikhwan group members.
00:22The operation started at 5.30 a.m., but the occupants left the houses before the arrival
00:28of the personnel.
00:29At one house, believed to be a premises housing at least 20 children, the police found bags
00:34of clothing and children's bicycles.
00:37The same house also had more than 10 quails and a renovated back area, serving as a bathing
00:42area.
00:43Residents in the neighborhood said they saw children living in one of the inspected homes,
00:48playing in a nearby playground.
00:49They said the children had not been seen since Thursday.
00:53They said they saw several cars parked in front of the houses believed to be transporting
00:57the children.
00:58Police also raided several business premises linked to the Global Ikhwan group in Bandar
01:03country homes.
01:04The premises included a workshop, used clothing shop, restaurant, printing shop, media management
01:10company and a hotel.
01:12More than 10 individuals, including women and children, were inspected during the raids.
01:18Once the operation ended, the individuals were transported to the Selangor police headquarters
01:23in six vans and three cars for documentation.
01:27On Thursday, police detained 19 individuals, including the Global Ikhwan group's CEO, his
01:34wife, and other family members.
01:36They have been remanded for seven days.
01:39On September 11th, police rescued 402 children from 20 care centers in Selangor and Nergri
01:45Sermbilan and have since detained some 171 suspects in their probe into child abuse and
01:52sexual crimes.
