Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, one night while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was praying, he put his hand on the ground and a scorpion stung him. When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished, he said: "May Allah curse the scorpion, it does not leave a prayer person nor anyone else." Or he said: "It does not leave a prophet nor anyone else." He fetched water and collected them in a pot. Then you began to put it on the finger where he had stung, meet him and seek refuge with him through Mu'awiztin.
