00:07this morning. Two lanes were closed southbound from Junction 23 for Haydock to Junction 22

00:20A driver has been arrested after police recovered a large quantity of stolen power tools in

00:24his van on the M6. The van was stopped by the Royal Crime Team on Saturday after it

00:29was spotted on the M6 in the Preston area. Use of resources including Blackpool's upgraded

00:36£2m CCTV system helped prevent recent riots in the town from being catastrophic, councillors

00:42have been told. Protests which took place in Talbot Square in Blackpool on Saturday

00:48August 2nd and in Lytton Road on Wednesday August 3rd were prevented from escalating

00:53with the help of the CCTV control room. Burnley and Pendle is being flooded with unwanted

01:21behaviour and street drinkers in Lancaster City Centre. Police are out in response to

01:26concerns raised around street drinkers and news causing anti-social behaviour, along

01:30with vehicles, including e-bikes, driving through the pedestrianised areas. And finally,
