Blackpool come up against one of Steve Bruce's former sides Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.

During his time with the West Yorkshire club during the late 90s and early 00s, the 63-year-old released three murder mystery novels, which revolved around a fictional football team and their manager.

00:00A story that does reound quite a lot about your time at Huddersfield, when you released three books during your time there, so I couldn't resist asking about them.
00:07Well if anybody's got one by the way, apparently they're worth a few quid. I think Hawksby and Jacobs did it in lockdown, it was a bit of fun I had 20 odd years ago.
00:16I always thought I was a bit of a writer back in the day, but don't take them seriously, if you can find any one of them, Defender, Sweeper and Striker or something like that it is,
00:25so if you can find one, they're worth a few quid, so get hunting for them.
00:31Got no first editions knocking about that you want to hand out?
00:33No, no, no, apparently they're fetching six and eight hundred quid a time apparently, so somebody wrote to me and told me that, but I haven't got any, no, not at all.
