00:00They were excellent, weren't they? They deserve the plaudits that they're going to get today.
00:06Me is to keep them there. We've been inconsistent at times and it's understandable with the
00:14new way that we want to play and what we've had in front of us, but they're slowly getting
00:20there. We're inching towards it and if they keep playing like that we'll be OK.
00:25Yeah, wait until the end of the year and head into the new one. That's the kind of format
00:28you want to set out your style and what you can do.
00:30That's what we can do. We know what we're capable of, unfortunately. We can throw the
00:35spanner in the works occasionally. As I've said many times, they've had four or five
00:43different voices in the matter of four or five months, with Critch starting and then
00:48Gacy coming in and what happened to me and the Aggers having to go and then me coming
00:52back. So it's been a bit difficult, but let's hope that consistency we can find.
00:57Have you ever seen that benefit of that consistency in the last month of things building and getting
01:00back on track?
01:01Yeah, we haven't had the results, but out of the last six we've drawn two and won three
01:08and lost one where we shouldn't have lost really.
01:11A player who we spoke about a lot, Albie Morgan, obviously he's had his diabetes, but how fantastic
01:16has he been?
01:17Well, there you go. You miss your good players and when you see them playing like today,
01:22maybe we'll all give ourselves a jab of insulin. It does the world of good to everybody. So
01:26I've just asked him for it. He was terrific.
01:28In a way, he's taken that news, come back to action.
01:31Well, it's a total change of life for him and lifestyle, but fair play to him to produce
01:37a performance like that after having the shock. I thought for me, he was the outstanding player
01:41on the pitch today. I shouldn't pick individuals, but what he's gone through, I thought it was
01:45terrific.
01:46In a way, he controls it as well. When he was under pressure, he got the ball and he
01:49can't lose it.
01:50Everything about him today, he's a good player, the kid.
01:52You're a defensive duo. When you first came in, you had Odell and Casey and now you've
01:55got Penault and Casey. You must be delighted with the options you've got in that defensive
01:59area.
02:00Well, we had to improve defensively. It was one area where we kept conceding goals, didn't
02:05we? That has improved immensely. The last six games, I think we've conceded three times
02:12and one was a dubious penalty. One was from 70 yards when the keeper kicked it in, if
02:17you remember. So, yeah, that's improved.
02:21The way they're playing as a duo as well, is that to show how with time you do click?
02:25Yeah, yeah. Look, as I said, it takes time. You can't just wave a magic wand. We're totally
02:32different to where they've been playing probably for 18 months, so people need time to adjust.
02:38You can't just turn it around like that.
